HEAT INSULATION MATERIAL COMPRISING AEROGEL GRANULES AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR
The technique set forth in the present specification provides a heat insulation material having functions of enhancing heat-insulating performance and preventing aerogel dispersion by using aerogel granules and a polymer binder. According to an embodiment of the technique set forth in the present specification, the thickness of the heat insulation material is adjustable according to the purpose of the heat insulation material, so that a heat insulation material that can be made into products in various fields is provided.
SUBSTRATE WITH DEPOSITION AND/OR FRICTION REDUCTION COATING
The present disclosure may be directed towards a substrate with an array disposed thereon. The substrate comprising a bonding array with a plurality of bonding locations. A low emissivity layer is deposited on at least one side of the substrate and covers at least some of the bonding locations. The low emissivity layer may be a metal layer which functions as a radiant barrier.
PRODUCTION METHOD OF HIGH PERFORMANCE FILTRATION LAYER AND THEIR APPLICATION ON MASK
Disclosed is a production method of filtration layers that can be used in many fields, especially surgical masks. The aforementioned filtration layers are thermobond non-woven layers and layers formed by supporting it with an electrospinning method. Thermobond non-woven layer is obtained as a result of a process that includes fiber opening, fiber feeding, carding and bonding.
HYDROCARBON ABSORBENT STRUCTURES
A method of manufacturing a hydrocarbon absorbent structure comprises providing a lower sheet of material and dispensing a hydrocarbon absorbent polymer mixture thereon. The polymer mixture is then preheated so as to at least partially melt the polymer mixture. An upper sheet of material is then provided onto the at least partially melted polymer mixture on the lower sheet of material. The lower sheet of material, polymer mixture and upper sheet of material are then laminated together to form a hydrocarbon absorbent laminate structure.
Breathable, wicking nonwoven material
An article including one or more moisture wicking layers and one or more fibrous layers. The fibrous layers may have generally vertically oriented fibers, which may be oriented generally perpendicularly to a surface having or producing moisture. The article may be adapted to remove moisture form the surface having or producing moisture. The article may be breathable. The article may be quick drying. The article may provide cushioning. The article may be a wearable item.
Acoustic fiber silencer
An acoustic fiber silencer for a motor vehicle includes a first sound absorbing layer and a second sound insulating layer. The layers are formed of lightweight fibrous material, and the sound insulating layer is quilted. The acoustic fiber silencer includes a frame to which the sound absorbing and sound insulating layers are secured. The frame provides structural support and shape to the sound absorbing and sound insulating layers. The acoustic fiber silencer is lightweight while maintaining excellent noise attenuation properties.
Management of a thermally regulated structure of an information handling system
An information handling system, comprising: a voltage source; a thermally regulated structure, including: a thermal fabric layer, the thermal fabric layer having a porosity; a laminate layer coupled to the thermal fabric layer, wherein a shape of the laminate layer controls the porosity of the thermal fabric layer; a temperature sensor configured to detect a first temperature of the information handling system; a thermal management controller to perform operations comprising: determining that the first temperature is above a threshold; in response, calculating a voltage to apply to the thermally regulated structure based on the first temperature; and providing a command to the voltage source to apply the voltage to the laminate layer of the thermally regulated structure to adjust a shape of the laminate layer such the porosity of the thermal fabric provides an emissivity of the thermally regulated structure to thermally radiate heat from the thermally regulated structure.
Shaped Nonwovens that Exhibit High Visual Resolution
A nonwoven fabric is disclosed. The nonwoven fabric can include a first surface and a second surface and at least a first visually discernible zone of three-dimensional features on one of the first or second surface. Each of the three-dimensional features can define a microzone comprising a first region and a second region. The first and second regions can have a difference in values for an intensive property, and the first visually discernible zone can exhibit a high visual resolution.
Hot Melt Adhesive for Spiral Wound Membrane Bonding
Disclosed is a high-penetration hot melt adhesive for separation apparatus, such as thin film composite reverse osmosis filtration membranes. Also disclosed is a method of using these hot melt adhesives to bond these membranes to one or more other components of a separation apparatus.
ELASTICIZED NONWOVEN LAMINATES
Elasticized nonwoven laminates including high recovery power polyurethane elastic fiber, articles of manufacture with these elasticized nonwoven laminates and methods for production of the elasticized laminates and articles of manufacture are provided.
