EXTERIOR GLASS TRIM ELEMENT FOR VEHICLE
An exterior trim element for a motor vehicle which includes a cover part made of glass disposed on a support member.
Decorative panel
A decorative panel has a first layer, a second layer, and a third layer. The first layer may be transparent, the second layer is fully or partially reflective, and the third layer is partially reflective or transparent. A cavity having an opening in the shape of a design is formed within a portion of the second layer. The opening is configured to allow light to enter the decorative panel through the second layer. The light entering the decorative panel will be outputted by the third layer in a shape substantially similar to the design.
Glass Substrate With Pigmented Ceramic Enamel Layer
A vehicle windshield assembly including a glass layer, a first layer, and a second layer is disclosed. The glass layer has inner and outer surfaces. The first layer contacts the inner surface of the glass layer, and defines voids in the first layer in a shape of a design. The second layer contacts the first layer and occupies the voids. The first and second layers have a color contrast to enhance visibility of the design.
MODULAR WALL PANELS AND PLANAR STRUCTURES
A modular glass panel comprising a glass structure having at least one thin glass sheet having a thickness ranging from about 0.5 mm to about 2.0 mm, a backing frame positioned adjacent the glass structure and situated along the perimeter of the glass structure, and a polymer layer intermediate the glass structure and backing frame to adhere the glass structure together with the backing frame. The glass structure can further comprise the at least one thin glass sheet and a second glass sheet having a polymer interlayer therebetween. The backing frame generally has a geometric cross-section with a rounded interior edge adjacent the glass structure to prevent breakage of the structure upon loading or impact of an exterior surface of the structure.
Glazing unit comprising a transparent display
A glazing unit includes a transparent display located in only one portion of the glazing unit, at least one light-guiding substrate located nearer the exterior than the display, at least one light source located on the periphery of the substrate, for example facing an edge face of the light-guiding substrate, and a light extraction device for extracting the light emitted by the light source. The light source may be formed from a plurality of light emitting diodes.
GLASS LAMINATE WITH PANE HAVING GLASS-GLASS LAMINATE STRUCTURE
A glass laminate includes a first pane having a glass-glass laminate structure, a second pane, and an interlayer disposed between the first pane and the second pane and including a polymeric material.
FILLED-PORE DECORATIVE LAYER FOR ION EXCHANGE AND AUTOMOTIVE GLASS
The disclosure relates to glass articles having a decorative inorganic layer that is compatible with ion exchange processes and suitable for automotive glass. The inorganic layer comprises a plurality of pores in which polymerizable filler components have been deposited and cross-linked. The porous inorganic layer has a glass transition temperature of greater than 450? C. and a glass softening temperature of less than 650? C. The disclosure also provides glass articles containing the filled porous inorganic layer and methods for preparing the same.
GLASS RESIN LAMINATE
Provided is a glass resin laminate (1), including: a resin layer (2); a glass sheet (3); an adhesive layer (4) configured to bond the glass sheet (3) and the resin layer (2); and a functional film (5) interposed in the adhesive layer (4). The adhesive layer (4) includes a first portion (4a) positioned between the resin layer (2) and the functional film (5), a second portion (4b) positioned between the glass sheet (3) and the functional film (5), and a fused portion (4c) obtained by fusing an end portion of the first portion (4a) and an end portion of the second portion (4b).
