The laminated glass pane includes a film disposed between the first and second glass layers. The laminated glass pane includes a metallic layer disposed on the first glass layer or the second glass layer, in which the metallic layer includes a recess. The laminated glass plane includes a first black print grid at least partially covering the recess of the metallic layer. The laminated glass plane includes an antenna structure disposed between the first and second glass layers, in which the antenna structure is covered by the first black print grid.

CONNECTED HAIRBRUSH

A system that includes a styling tool configured to treat or shape a user's hair; and a client device configured to communicate with the styling tool and provide feedback to the user regarding a user's usage of the styling tool based at least in part on measured data captured by the styling tool. The styling tool may be a hairbrush that includes circuitry and/or sensors configured to detect one or more of sound, acceleration, force, rotation, hair humidity, and ambient temperature and humidity.

AUTOMOTIVE LAMINATED GLAZING WITH ENHANCED SPECTRAL PROPERTIES USING BAND ABSORPTION DYES
20180186125 · 2018-07-05 ·

The present invention provides for a laminate that utilizes the ability of a narrow band absorbing dyes to absorb selective wavelengths of light by identifying a color target and tuning to that target. Working with just glass compositions, coatings, interlayers and films, all of which act as broad band filters, it is difficult to fine tune the spectral response of a laminate. Narrow band absorbing dyes are used to selectively tune the spectral response to achieve targeted performance in the UV, visible and IR ranges of the spectrum.

Glazing having an area for collection of information

A laminated glazing, comprising: a first glass sheet; a first interlayer; a second interlayer; and a second glass sheet. At least a portion of the second interlayer includes a first opaque print, the first opaque print partially surrounds a window for collection of information of the laminated glazing, and an edge of the second interlayer is positioned at a selected distance from an edge of the window for collection of information.

INTEGRATED LIGHTING

A lighting system for specialty lighting, which may be attached to a motor vehicle with a window (e.g., glass, plastic, etc.) that is light transmissive. The lighting system may include one or more light assemblies attached to the window in an interior of the vehicle or an exterior area of the vehicle. In one embodiment, a light assembly may be internal to the window.

COATED GLASS SHEET AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME
20180050956 · 2018-02-22 ·

The coated glass sheet of the present invention includes: a glass sheet; and a coating film provided on at least one principal surface of the glass sheet and having a smooth surface. The coating film includes: isolated closed pores present within the coating film; and a matrix. The coating film is substantially free of open pores open at the surface of the coating film. For the coated glass sheet of the present invention, a transmittance gain is 2.5% or more, the transmittance gain being calculated by subtracting an average transmittance of the glass sheet as determined by applying light having wavelengths of 380 to 1100 nm to the glass sheet in the absence of the coating film on the surface of the glass sheet from an average transmittance of the coated glass sheet as determined by applying light having the wavelengths to the coated glass sheet from a side on which the coating film lies.

Method for implementing a device for displaying a real image

Method of using a device for displaying a real image of the head-up display (HUD) type in a passenger compartment comprising glazing, notably laminated glazing, said device comprising a source emitting a beam of radiation of the visible UV or IR laser type or of the light-emitting diode type, directed towards a portion of said glazing comprising a fluorescent material absorbing said radiation and re-emitting light in the visible region, the illumination of said portion by the beam enabling a real image to be displayed on the glazing.
