Interlayer film for colored laminated glass, and colored laminated glass

The present invention aims to provide an interlayer film for a colored laminated glass which exhibits a visible light transmittance Tv of 5% or lower, small variation in visible light transmittance and an excellent appearance when incorporated in a laminated glass together with two clear glass plates in conformity with JIS R3202 (1996), and a colored laminated glass produced using the interlayer film for a colored laminated glass. Provided is an interlayer film for a colored laminated glass having, recesses on at least one surface, and exhibiting a visible light transmittance Tv of 5% or lower when incorporated in a laminated glass together with two clear glass plates in conformity with JIS R3202 (1996), the interlayer film for a colored laminated glass including a laminate of at least two layers including a first resin layer containing a thermoplastic resin and a colorant and a second resin layer containing a thermoplastic resin and no colorant, the elastic modulus E.sub.1 of the first resin layer and the elastic modulus B.sub.2 of the second resin layer having a ratio E.sub.1/E.sub.2 of 1.25 or more, the thickness t.sub.1 of the first resin layer and the thickness t.sub.2 of the second resin layer having a ratio t.sub.1/t.sub.2 of 2.0 or less.

Automotive laminated glass, and production method therefor

An automotive laminated glass includes a thermoplastic interlayer film, a curved first glass sheet, and a curved second glass sheet. The thermoplastic interlayer film is disposed between the first and second glass sheets. The first glass sheet is a 0.7- to 3-mm thick non-chemically strengthened glass sheet including a convex-side first main surface and a concave-side second main surface facing the thermoplastic interlayer film. The second glass sheet is an ion-exchanged, 0.3- to 1.5-mm thick chemically strengthened glass sheet including a convex-side third main surface facing the thermoplastic interlayer film and a concave-side fourth main surface. The second glass sheet is thinner than the first glass sheet. The convex-side third main surface has a compressive stress layer thicker than that on the concave-side fourth main surface, and the second glass sheet is adjusted to fit the curvature of the first glass sheet.

Thermoplastic film for a laminated glass pane

Thermoplastic film suitable as an intermediate layer for a laminated glass pane, wherein the thermoplastic film includes a defined region, which is provided for a camera window or an HUD (head-up display) region that has a non-zero wedge angle, and a region surrounding the defined region on all sides, in which the thermoplastic film has a substantially constant thickness, wherein the maximum thickness in the defined region of the thermoplastic film is less than the thickness in the surrounding region.

Intermediate film for laminated glass and laminated glass

The present invention aims to provide an interlayer film for a laminated glass which includes two or more resin layers laminated together and which has excellent deaeration properties in the manufacturing process of a laminated glass and prevents ghosting. The present invention also aims to provide a laminated glass comprising the interlayer film for a laminated glass. The present invention relates to an interlayer film for a laminated glass which includes two or more resin layers laminated together and has many minute recesses and many minute protrusions on at least one surface thereof. The recesses have a groove shape with a continuous bottom. The recesses are formed in a regular manner, and recesses adjacent to each other being parallel. Recesses adjacent to each other are spaced less than 750 m.

USE OF UV-SENSITIVE INTERLAYER MATERIALS WITH NANO-STRUCTURED FUNCTIONAL COATING

This disclosure relates generally to glass products having a UV protective coating. The coating is a porous, nano-structured coating having pores sized within the range of UV radiation. The porous structure may scatter UV light, protecting laminated interlayers and interior space protected by the glass products. The UV protective coating may be used in glass laminates having UV-sensitive interlayers, including switchable films where UV exposure may be limited.

Provided is a laminated glass capable of preventing breakage in an end part of the laminated glass under external impact. A laminated glass according to the present invention is a laminated glass including a first glass plate, a second glass plate, and an interlayer film, the interlayer film being arranged between the first glass plate and the second glass plate, the laminated glass having a portion where a lateral surface of the interlayer film is exposed, and a ratio of a weight of broken glass pieces determined by a ball drop test in a laminated glass after a dipping-light irradiation test, to a weight of broken glass pieces determined by the ball drop test in a laminated glass not having undergone the dipping-light irradiation test being 2.5 or less.

Asymmetric glazing laminates with high impact resistance

An asymmetric glazing laminate (34) that includes an outer transparency (36) and an inner transparency (50) that are maintained together by an interlayer (44). Outer transparency (36) has a nominal thickness (42) of 2.1 mm and inner transparency (50) has a nominal thickness of 1.2 mm. The asymmetric glazing has greater stone impact resistance and lower per unit weight than symmetric glazing laminate (10) in which the outer and inner transparencies (12 and 26) each have nominal thickness of 2.1.
