There is provided an interlayer film for laminated glass which is high in heat shielding properties. The interlayer film for laminated glass according to the present invention includes an infrared ray reflection layer which reflects infrared rays, a first resin layer which is arranged on a first surface side of the infrared ray reflection layer and contains a thermoplastic resin and a second resin layer which is arranged on a second surface side of the infrared ray reflection layer and contains a thermoplastic resin, and the infrared ray transmittance in the wavelength of 780 to 2100 nm of the first resin layer is higher by 10% or more than the infrared ray transmittance in the wavelength of 780 to 2100 nm of the second resin layer.

A method for displaying video images includes providing a plurality of cameras and an ECU at the vehicle. The cameras are in communication with one another via a vehicle network and the ECU is in communication with the cameras via respective data lines. During a driving maneuver of the vehicle, one of the cameras is designated as and functions as a master camera and other cameras are designated as and function as slave cameras. During the driving maneuver, automatic control of exposure, gain and white balance parameters of the designated master camera is enabled, and the exposure, gain and white balance parameters of the designated master camera are communicated to the designated slave cameras via the vehicle network. A composite image is displayed that provides bird's eye view video images derived from video image data captured by at least the designated master camera and the designated slave cameras.

The multilayer glass stack includes an external-facing glass layer, an internal-facing glass layer, and an adhesive interlayer positioned between the external-facing and internal-facing glass layers. The external-facing glass layer may include borosilicate and/or does not include soda lime glass. Methods of manufacturing the multilayer glass stack are also described.

There is provided an interlayer film for a laminated glass having improved appearance which has a MD and TD direction; and one end, and another end being opposite side of and thicker than the one end. The one end and other end are positioned on both sides of the interlayer film in the TD direction. When the distance between the one end and other end is X, the absolute value for the difference between the largest and smallest thermal shrinkage ratios from among three thermal shrinkage ratios is 15% or less. The three thermal shrinkage ratios are positioned from the one end towards the other end in MD direction with a first thermal shrinkage ratio at 150 C. at a first position at 0.05X, a second thermal shrinkage ratio at 150 C. at a second position at 0.5X, and a third thermal shrinkage ratio at 150 C. at a third position at 0.95X.

The invention relates to a self-supporting polymer film having a thermoplastic polymer, a ketone, and at least one organic photochromic molecule including a chromophore, wherein preferably the at least one organic photochromic molecule including a chromophore is evenly distributed in the self-supporting polymer film. A typical self-supporting polymer film of the invention is a self-supporting photochromic aliphatic thermoplastic polyurethane film imbibed with a ketone such as acetone and cyclohexanone, further including one or more of a diarylethene, a spirooxazine and a naphtopyran, preferably a polydialkylsiloxane-substituted naphtopyran. The invention also relates to a method for the manufacturing of such a self-supporting polymer film of the invention, and to the use of such a self-supporting polymer film in the manufacturing of an article. Furthermore, the invention relates to an article having a self-supporting polymer film of the invention.
