IMPROVED OPTICAL IMPRESSION OF A PDLC VEHICLE PANE THROUGH A COMBINATION OF DARK INNER AND OUTER STACKS
A vehicle pane, includes successively a) an outer glass pane, b) at least one laminated layer, c) a PDLC layer, including a polymer matrix, in which liquid crystal droplets are embedded, and in each case an electrically conductive layer on both sides of the polymer matrix, d) at least one laminated layer, and e) an inner glass pane. The TL(inside) is in the range from 5 to 46% and the TL(outside) is in the range from 20 to 73% and the TL(outside) is greater than or equal to TL(inside), wherein the TL(inside) is the light transmittance of an inner stack that is formed by the inner glass pane and the layers between the PDLC layer and the inner glass pane, and TL(outside) is the light transmittance of an outer stack that is formed by the outer glass pane and the layers between the PDLC layer and the outer glass pane.
LAMINATED GLASS
Provided is a laminated glass having an achromatic color or a color close to achromatic color despite the use of colored glass. A laminated glass according to the present invention includes: a first lamination glass member which is colored glass; a second lamination glass member; and a colored interlayer film, the colored interlayer film is arranged between the first lamination glass member and the second lamination glass member, and the laminated glass has a color coordinate a* in L*a*b* color system of 5 or more and 5 or less, and a color coordinate b* in L*a*b* color system of 5 or more and 5 or less.
HEAT RAY SHIELDING STRUCTURE, LAMINATED GLASS INCLUDING THE SAME, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME
A heat ray shielding structure including a heat ray shielding layer (2) between a first resin layer and a second resin layer, wherein the heat ray shielding layer (2) is a heat ray reflecting layer which is a first heat ray reflecting layer having a repeated multilayer structure of a high-refractive-index layer and a low-refractive-index layer or which is a second heat ray reflecting layer containing at least any one of Au, Ag, Cu and Al, a heat ray absorbing layer containing at least one of an inorganic oxide and a coloring matter and containing a binder resin, or a layer including the heat ray reflecting layer and the heat ray absorbing layer.
Laminated glass
A laminated glass includes a pair of glass plates; and an interlayer located between the glass plates. At least one of the glass plates has a cross section with a wedged shape, and an entire amount of iron in terms of Fe.sub.2O.sub.3 in the glass plate having the cross section with the wedged shape is 0.75 mass % or less. The interlayer includes a heat shielding agent, and has a cross section with a wedge angle of 0.2 mrad or less. A total solar transmittance, defined by ISO 13837A, of the laminated glass is 60% or less.
LAMINATING THIN STRENGTHENED GLASS TO CURVED MOLDED PLASTIC SURFACE FOR DECORATIVE AND DISPLAY COVER APPLICATION
A process comprises cold-forming a flat glass substrate into a non-planar shape using a die. The cold-formed glass substrate is bonded to a non-planar rigid support structure at a plurality of non-planar points using the die. Bonding methods include injection molding the non-planar rigid support structure, and direct bonding. An article is also provided, comprising a cold-formed glass substrate having opposing major surfaces and a curved shape, the opposing major surfaces comprising a surface stress that differ from one another. The cold-formed glass substrate is attached to a rigid support structure having the curved shape. The cold-formed glass substrate includes an open region not in direct contact with the non-planar rigid support structure, and the open region has a curved shape maintained by the non-planar rigid support structure.
LAMINATED GLASS
Provided is a laminated glass capable of suppressing multiple images and enhancing the heat shielding properties, and enhancing the uniformity of heat shield properties or color tone between one end side and the other end side of the laminated glass. A laminated glass according to the present invention has one end, and the other end being at the opposite side of the one end and having a thickness larger than a thickness of the one end; the laminated glass includes a first lamination glass member, a second lamination glass member, and an interlayer film arranged between the first lamination glass member and the second lamination glass member; the first lamination glass member has a wedge angle of 0.10 mrad or more; the wedge angle of the first lamination glass member is equal to a wedge angle of the interlayer film or larger than the wedge angle of the interlayer film, and the interlayer film contains a heat shielding substance.
Intermediate film for laminated glass, and laminated glass
Provided is an interlayer film for laminated glass capable of suppressing the discoloration by the light and heat in an interlayer film including a resin layer colored with a coloring agent. The interlayer film for laminated glass according to the present invention has an infrared reflective layer, and a first resin layer containing a thermoplastic resin, the first resin layer is arranged on a first surface side of the infrared reflective layer, the infrared reflective layer has a first maximum reflection wavelength at a wavelength of 350 nm to 450 nm, and a second maximum reflection wavelength at a wavelength of 800 nm or more, each of reflectance at the first maximum reflection wavelength and reflectance at the second maximum reflection wavelength is 15% or more, and the first resin layer contains a coloring agent.
Laminated switchable panel and methods for making and using
Method and composition for switchable panels are disclosed. Switchable films are placed between glass and liquid resin is injected between the glass and cured. The panels may be used for a wide variety of applications.
LAMINATED VEHICLE GLASS
A laminated vehicle glass has an outer glass, an intermediate layer arrangement, an inner glass, a first color carrier and a second color carrier. The outer glass is at least partly adhesively bonded to the inner glass via the intermediate layer arrangement. The first color carrier is formed as a print with a first printing ink on the inner side of the outer glass. The second color carrier is formed as a print with a printing ink or as a film and has a second color. The second color carrier is provided in at least some regions on the side of the first color carrier that faces away from the outer glass. The first color and second color are different, at least in some regions. The second color is provided in a frame-like region of the laminated vehicle glass.
Colored light emitting sheet and colored light emitting glass
The present invention aims to provide a colored luminescent sheet that enables production of a colored glass providing better aesthetic appearance, and a colored luminescent glass including the colored luminescent sheet. Provided is a colored luminescent sheet including: a thermoplastic resin; a colorant; and a luminescent material that emits visible light having a wavelength of 380 to 750 nm under excitation light.
