COMPOSITE GLASS PANE
A composite glass pane that contains two glass panes or two polymer panes or one glass pane and one polymer pane and has at least one polymer film bonded therebetween, wherein a first type of polymer film having a first stiffness is arranged in a first, larger areal region of the composite glass pane and a second type of polymer film having a second, higher stiffness than the first polymer film is arranged in at least one second areal region.
VIG Unit Lamination
The present disclosure relates to a method of providing a laminated vacuum insulated glass (VIG) unit (1), wherein the method comprises: providing a lamination assembly (10) comprising a vacuum insulated glass (VIG) unit (11) comprising at least two glass sheets (11a, 11b) separated by a plurality of support structures (12) distributed in a gap (13) between the glass sheets (11a, 11b), and a lamination layer (2) arranged between one of the glass sheets (11a, 11b) of the vacuum insulated glass (VIG) unit (11) and a further sheet (3). The further sheet (3) may be subjected to a first heating temperature (T1) by means of a first heating arrangement (9a), and the glass sheet (11a) of the vacuum insulated glass (VIG) unit (11) facing away from the further sheet (3) may be subjected to a second heating temperature (T2) by means of a second heating arrangement (9b), wherein the first heating temperature (T1) is higher than the second heating temperature (T2). The disclosure additionally relates to a system (100) for providing laminated vacuum insulated glass (VIG) units (1), and use of such a system.

A functional film (transmission image display film 10) comprising a substrate film (transparent film 11) and a functional layer (light scattering layer 12) containing an organic material, which has a deposited layer (first deposited layer 13, second deposited layer 14, third deposited layer 15) formed of an inorganic oxide having an isoelectric point of at most 6 or at least 7.4 as measured by streaming potential method, either one of or both on the outermost surface of the functional film and between the substrate film and the functional layer.
LAMINATE WITH A GLASS LAYER AND IMAGE DISPLAY APPARATUS INCLUDING THE LAMINATE WITH A GLASS LAYER
Provided is a laminate with a glass layer having excellent surface hardness and impact resistance. A laminate with a glass layer of the present invention includes a glass layer, a first pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, an impact absorbing layer, and a second pressure-sensitive adhesive layer in the stated order. The laminate with a glass layer has a pencil hardness of 5 H or more, and according to the laminate with a glass layer, an impact amount S.sub.A detected when a stainless-steel ball having a weight of 10 g and a diameter of 13 mm is vertically dropped from a height of 40 cm onto a surface of an impact detection sensor and an impact amount S.sub.B detected when the stainless-steel ball is vertically dropped from a height of 40 cm onto the laminate with a glass layer placed on the surface of the impact detection sensor satisfy the following relationship: {(S.sub.A−S.sub.B)/S.sub.A}×100≥25(%).

A window includes a coating layer including a front surface, a rear surface, a first region having a constant distance between the front surface and the rear surface in a thickness direction, and a second region in which a distance between the front surface and the rear surface reduces in a direction away from the first region; and a bezel layer disposed on the rear surface of the coating layer, where the coating layer includes inorganic particles, an acrylate resin and an epoxy resin.

There is provided an interlayer film for laminated glass with which the sound insulating properties of laminated glass can be enhanced. The interlayer film 2 for laminated glass according to the present invention includes a polyvinyl acetal resin and a second resin component with a glass transition temperature higher than or equal to −15° C. and lower than or equal to 5° C., the content of the polyvinyl acetal resin is greater than or equal to 10% by weight and less than or equal to 50% by weight and the content of the second resin component is greater than or equal to 50% by weight and less than or equal to 90% by weight, in 100% by weight of the total of the polyvinyl acetal resin and the second resin component, and the polyvinyl acetal resin and the second resin component form a sea-island structure in the interlayer film.

A laminate includes a first glass article having a first thickness, a first annealing point, and a first softening point, a second glass article having a second thickness, a second annealing point, and a second softening point, and an interlayer disposed between the first glass article and the second glass article. The first thickness is greater than the second thickness, the second annealing point is less than or equal to the first annealing point, and the second softening point is greater than the first softening point.
MULTILAYER GLASS PANEL FOR A VEHICLE AND METHOD OF MAKING THE SAME
Disclosed is a multilayer panel, comprising: a center layer comprising graphene, wherein the center layer comprises a first surface and an opposing second surface; a first polymer layer deposited on the first surface of the center layer and a second polymer layer deposited on the second surface of the center layer; and a first glass layer deposited on an outer surface of the first polymer layer and a second glass layer deposited on an outer surface of the second polymer layer; wherein the first polymer layer, the second polymer layer, or any combination(s) thereof comprise carbon filler.
Fusion-formable automotive glass compositions, articles, and laminates
Embodiments of glass articles exhibiting a sag temperature in a range from about 600° C. to about 700° C. are disclosed. In one or more embodiments, the glass article includes a glass composition including SiO.sub.2 in an amount in a range from about 66 mol % to about 80 mol %, Al.sub.2O.sub.3 in an amount in a range from about 2 mol % to about 15 mol %, B.sub.2O.sub.3 in an amount in a range from about 0.9 mol % to about 15 mol %, P.sub.2O.sub.5 in a non-zero amount up to and including 7.5 mol %, Li.sub.2O in an amount from about 0.5 mol % to about 12 mol %, and Na.sub.2O in an amount from about 6 mol % to about 15 mol %. Laminates including the glass articles and methods for forming such laminates are also disclosed.
