Vehicular vision system with video display
A vehicular vision system includes a plurality of cameras and an ECU. The cameras are in communication with one another via a vehicle network and image data captured by the cameras is provided to the ECU. Responsive to a type of driving maneuver of the vehicle, (i) the ECU generates a first control signal that enables automatic control of exposure, gain and white balance of one camera of the plurality of cameras and (ii) the ECU generates respective second control signals that disable automatic control of exposure, gain and white balance of at least one other camera of the plurality of cameras. Responsive to processing of captured image data, composite video images derived from image data captured by the plurality of cameras are synthesized, and composite images are displayed that provides bird's eye view video images derived from video image data captured by the cameras.
Laminating thin strengthened glass to curved molded plastic surface for decorative and display cover application
A process comprises cold-forming a flat glass substrate into a non-planar shape using a die. The cold-formed glass substrate is bonded to a non-planar rigid support structure at a plurality of non-planar points using the die. Bonding methods include injection molding the non-planar rigid support structure, and direct bonding. An article is also provided, comprising a cold-formed glass substrate having opposing major surfaces and a curved shape, the opposing major surfaces comprising a surface stress that differ from one another. The cold-formed glass substrate is attached to a rigid support structure having the curved shape. The cold-formed glass substrate includes an open region not in direct contact with the non-planar rigid support structure, and the open region has a curved shape maintained by the non-planar rigid support structure.
Interlayer for laminated glass, method for producing interlayer for laminated glass, and laminated glass
The present invention aims to provide an interlayer film for a laminated glass that enables production of a laminated glass having high visible light transmittance even when deaeration for preliminary pressure bonding and heating for final pressure bonding are performed in parallel in a vacuum deaeration method. The present invention also aims to provide a method for producing the interlayer film for a laminated glass, and a laminated glass including the interlayer film for a laminated glass. Provided is an interlayer film for a laminated glass having a multitude of recesses on at least one surface, the surface with the recesses having a texture aspect ratio Str of 0.04 or lower as measured in conformity with ISO 25178.
Glazing with optical device
The invention concerns a laminated glazing with an optically transparent area (22) comprising (i) at least one inner (13) and one outer (14) glass sheets, each having an internal and an external faces, and being high level of near infrared radiation transmission glass sheets, (ii) at least one thermoplastic interlayer (20) to laminate the at least the inner and the outer glass sheets, comprising at least a first zone (11) and a second zone (12), the second zone (12) being delimited by the optically transparent area (22), and (iii) at least ne optical sensor device (2) provided on the inner face of the inner pane integrated in the optically transparent area (22). According to the present invention, the thermoplastic interlayer comprises a second zone (12) delimited by the optically transparent area where the laminated glazing has a value of infrared transmission TIR1 higher than the value of infrared transmission TIR2 of the first zone (11) for the working wavelengths of the optical device.
Film for laminating glass, method for manufacturing film for laminating glass, and vehicle comprising film for laminating glass
A film for laminating glass includes a polyvinyl acetal, a plasticizer, inorganic particles, and a trioxane-based compound.
Laminated glazing comprising a stack of layers
A process for manufacturing a colored laminated glazing including first and second glass sheets, the two sheets being connected together by a thermoplastic interlayer, includes depositing a stack of layers including functional layer on a face of the first and/or of the second glass sheet, liquid deposition, on a face of the first and/or of the second glass sheet, of a polymer layer including a coloring agent and polymer compounds, drying and optionally curing of the polymer layer, assembling the glass sheet, coated with the colored polymer layer, with a colorless transparent thermoplastic interlayer and with the second glass sheet, so that the colored polymer layer is in direct contact with the interlayer, degassing, and heat treatment under pressure and/or under vacuum of the laminated glass at a temperature of between 100° C. and 200° C.
WINDOW GLASS FOR VEHICLE
