SYSTEM FOR PREVENTING OVERHEATING ARCING IN HEATED LAMINATED GLASS
20230066940 · 2023-03-02 ·

A system includes a laminated glass comprising a protective layer disposed between two sheets of glass. The system includes a resistive conductive coating made of a first electrically conducting material disposed on a surface of one of the two sheets of glass facing the protective layer. The system includes a first set of electrodes made of a second electrically conducting material disposed on the resistive conductive coating. The system includes a second set of electrodes made of a third electrically conducting material disposed on the first set of electrodes. The second set of electrodes is electrically connected to the first set of electrodes, respectively. The third electrically conducting material of the second set of electrodes is more ductile than the second electrically conducting material of the first set of electrodes.

Multi-Layered Windowpane and Method for Producing Such Windowpane

The invention relates to a multi-layered windowpane including a first transparent outer layer, a second transparent outer layer, and a third, smaller, transparent inner layer that is located in between the outer layers, an adhesive transparent foil layer located between the first outer layer and the third inner layer and a sealing surrounding the third inner layer. The invention also provides a thin layered windowpane core to be incorporated in such a multi-layered windowpane as well as a method for producing such a multi-layered windowpane.

Laminated vehicle pane with opaque polymeric film

A laminated vehicle includes an outer pane and an inner pane that are joined to one another via at least one thermoplastic intermediate layer and an opaque polymeric film that is arranged between the outer pane and the inner pane, wherein the opaque polymeric film has at least one cutout.

The present disclosure relates generally to methods for the integration of electrochromic films onto a substrate, such as a glass window, and the systems/structures formed via such methods.

OBSCURATION HAVING SUPERIOR STRENGTH AND OPTICAL QUALITY FOR AN AUTOMOTIVE LAMINATE

The object of this invention is to provide a laminated automotive glazing having an obscuration area produced by printing the obscuration on a film laminated between at least two layers of plastic interlayers or directly on the interlayer rather than printing and firing an enamel frit onto the glass. This results in a laminate having superior optical quality, higher strength and a lower probability of breakage as compared to a laminate with a black enamel frit obscuration.

Interlayers comprising polyesteramide compositions

The present application discloses interlayers comprising novel polyesteramides comprising diols with tunable properties based on the monomers and monomer ratios used to prepare the polyesteramides and varying the reaction conditions. The interlayers have improved properties and can be used in many different applications.

There are provided an interlayer for laminated glass having a multilayer structure, capable of sufficiently suppressing generation of air bubbles and increase of area of air bubbles when the interlayer is made into a laminated glass. The interlayer for laminated glass includes alternately laminated at least one skin layer and two or more core layers, the skin layer having a storage modulus of 1.0×10.sup.6 Pa or more measured by a dynamic viscoelasticity test under conditions of a frequency of 1 Hz, a swing angle gamma of 0.01% and a temperature of 20° C., and the core layers having a storage modulus of less than 1.0×10.sup.6 Pa, wherein a value of a product of a value obtained by averaging thicknesses (mm) of the respective core layers and a thickness (mm) of the whole interlayer for laminated glass is 0.15 or more.

Method for producing a film having luminescent particles

A method for producing a film having luminescent particles is described. The method has steps a) mixing a thermoplastic and a luminescent pigment containing a hydroxyalkyl terephthalate of the formulate: R.sub.1—COO—P(OH)x-COO—R.sub.2 and obtaining a thermoplastic mixture; and b) homogenizing the thermoplastic mixture to 150° C. to 200° C. in an extruder, by way of an extrusion nozzle, and obtaining a thermoplastic film.

MULTILAYER INTERLAYER AND GLASS LAMINATE

A multilayer interlayer containing a specified ionomer skin layer and an acoustic damping intermediate layer, and laminate containing such interlayer are provided, wherein the laminate has a desirable combination of sound insulating, flexural strength and optical properties suitable for use in transportation and architectural end uses.
