A glass-resin composite of the present invention includes at least a plurality of glass sheets and a resin sheet which are integrally combined with each other via an organic resin intermediate layer, wherein, out of inner glass sheets of the plurality of glass sheets, at least one glass sheet has a crystallinity of 30% or less and a Young's modulus of 75 GPa or more.
THREE-DIMENSIONAL PICTOGRAPH
The present disclosure relates to an automotive glass product comprising a glazing having at least one glass substrate, a first image, and a second image separated in space from the first image, wherein the first image and the second image are at least partially aligned at an angle through the glass product, and wherein the first image and the second image provide a three-dimensional pictograph from at least one viewing angle.
SWITCHABLE FILM WITH EDGE SEAL
Smart windows, on which the level of visible light transmission can be electrically switched, are produced by laminating a special switchable film between the two layers of a glass laminate The film is made by sandwiching an emulsion containing the switchable variable light transmission active material between a set of electrodes. One of the challenges of producing said laminates is preventing the migration of plasticizers and moisture from the plastic bonding layer of the laminate into the emulsion where it can degrade performance. By applying a sealing member to each electrode layer along the periphery the emulsion is protected and in a manner that facilitates automation of the process.
COLORED FACADE ELEMENT WITH COMPOSITE PANE STRUCTURE
A facade element includes a coloring transparent or semi-transparent first pane and a mechanically supporting transparent second pane firmly connected to one another by an intermediate layer. The first pane has a front surface arranged on the light incidence side and an opposite back surface, at least one surface of the front and back surfaces has at least one structured region, and at least one optical interference layer is arranged on the at least one surface for reflecting light within a predetermined wavelength range. The structured region has the following features: perpendicular to the plane of the first pane, a height profile comprising peaks and valleys, wherein an average height difference between the peaks and valleys is at least 2 μm, at least 50% of the structured region is composed of segments which are inclined with respect to the plane of the first pane (2).
MULTI-LAYER STRUCTURE
A multi-layer structure includes a glass layer having a thickness of greater than or equal to 10 μm and less than or equal to 200 μm; and a resin layer. A number of unit lamination structures in a thickness direction of the multi-layer structure is greater than or equal to 5 and less than or equal to 20,000, the unit lamination structure being a lamination structure composed of the glass layer and the resin layer.
INTERLAYER FILM FOR LAMINATED GLASS, LAMINATED GLASS, AND IMAGE DISPLAY SYSTEM
An interlayer film for laminated glass of the present invention is an interlayer film for laminated glass, comprising one or two or more resin layers, and comprising a first resin layer comprising a resin and a light diffusion particle, in which any resin layer in the interlayer film for laminated glass comprises a colorant.
LAMINATED GLAZING
A laminated glazing pane is described comprising first and second sheets of glazing material joined by an interlayer structure comprising at least one sheet of adhesive interlayer material. Each sheet of glazing material has respective first and second major surfaces and the laminated glazing is arranged such that the second major surface of the first sheet of glazing material faces the first major surface of the second sheet of glazing material. An illumination device is arranged relative to the first sheet of glazing material to emit light towards the second major surface of the first sheet of glazing material. The first and/or second major surface of the first sheet of glazing material has an array of dots thereon for diffusing light emitted by the illumination device that is transmitted through the first sheet of glazing material and out from the first major surface thereof.
PROJECTION ASSEMBLY FOR A HEAD-UP DISPLAY (HUD) WITH P-POLARISED RADIATION
A projection assembly for a head-up display (HUD), includes a windshield, including outer and inner panes that are joined to one another via a thermoplastic intermediate layer and having an HUD region; and a projector aimed at the HUD region. The radiation of the projector is predominantly p-polarised, and the windshield is provided with a reflection coating that is suitable for reflecting p-polarised radiation. The reflection coating has exactly one electrically conductive layer based on silver, a lower dielectric layer or layer sequence whose refractive index is at least 1.9 is arranged beneath the electrically conductive layer, an upper dielectric layer or layer sequence whose refractive index is at least 1.9 is arranged above the electrically conductive layer, the ratio of the optical thickness of the upper dielectric layer or layer sequence to the optical thickness of the lower dielectric layer or layer sequence is at least 1.7.
LAMINATED VACUUM-INSULATED GLAZING ASSEMBLY
A laminated vacuum insulating assembly extending along a plane, P, defined by a longitudinal axis, X, and a vertical axis, Z, including: a first glass pane with thickness Z1, an inner pane face and an outer pane face and a second glass pane with thickness, Z2, an inner pane face and an outer pane face; wherein the thicknesses are measured in the direction normal to the plane, with a set of discrete spacers positioned between the first and second glass panes, a hermetically bonding seal sealing the distance between the first and second glass panes over a perimeter thereof; and an internal volume, V, defined by the first and second glass panes and the set of discrete spacers and closed by the hermetically bonding seal and where there is an absolute vacuum of pressure of less than 0.1 mbar; and where the inner pane faces face the internal volume, V.
