Fragrance sampler having an integral applicator
A fragrance sampler having an integral applicator is disclosed in which the sampler comprises a top ply having an upper surface and a lower surface, a mid ply having an upper surface, an outer perimeter edge, a back surface, a well formed therein, a bead of adhesive surrounding the well, and an area between the bead of adhesive and the outer perimeter edge, a non-woven material applicator having a sample material incorporated therein with the applicator being sized and shaped to fit within the well, and a bottom ply having a front surface and a back surface.
Laminate, method for manufacturing intermediate sheet, and method for manufacturing composite
In order to provide a composite good in formability into a three-dimensional shape and easy to manufacture, in a laminate having a core material layer and a skin material laminated on the core material layer, the core material layer has a plurality of plate-shaped flakes lined up along a surface of the skin material, and adjacent plate-shaped flakes are separated from each other by a gap or by a cut in the core material layer, and cutting directions along a thickness direction, which is determined from cutting marks formed on an outer periphery, are identical to each other among the plurality of the plate-shaped flakes.
METHOD FOR LAMINATING A BUILDING PANEL CORE WITH A SELF-ADHESIVE USE LAYER AND BUILDING PANEL CORE LAMINATED WITH A SELF-ADHESIVE USE LAYER
A method and system for laminating a building board core with a use or wear layer, and a resultant board, in which the board core is provided with a lamination material on its top side and/or bottom side. A cover sheet that is provided as the lamination material has a wear layer provided with an adhesive layer and a peel-off film on the adhesive layer. To automate the manufacturing process and comply with predefined working conditions, the peel-off film is pulled off the adhesive layer with a predefined peel-off force and the wear layer is fixed to the top side or the bottom side of the board core by a pressure roller. Faults can occur if changing boundary conditions cause a change in the pull-off force, in which case a deviation between the relevant actual value and the predefined target value can lead to a fault in the process.
POLYIMIDE DRY FILM AND APPLICATION THEREOF
A polyimide dry film including a carrier and a polyimide layer and a method of using the same are provided. The polyimide layer contains (a) a polyimide precursor or soluble polyimide and (b) a solvent. The solvent includes a hydrophilic solvent and a hydrophobic solvent and a weight ratio of the hydrophilic solvent to the hydrophobic solvent is in the range of about 0.05 to about 2. The polyimide dry film of the present invention has water absorbability, is relatively stable even in the presence of water, and has a non-sticky surface. The resulting polyimide has excellent physical properties and can be used in a process in which water or an aqueous solution is involved to form a coverlay with excellent physical properties.
FLOOR PANEL
A floor may include a substrate having a top side and a bottom side. A top layer may be provided on the substrate. The top layer may consist of a printed thermoplastic film and a thermoplastic transparent or translucent layer provided on the printed thermoplastic film. The top layer may be directly adhered to the substrate by heat welding the printed thermoplastic film and the top side of the substrate, in the absence of a glue layer. The substrate may be a synthetic material board including a filler. The substrate at least at two opposite edges may include coupling means provided in the synthetic material board. The thermoplastic transparent or translucent layer may be provided with a structure.
COMPOSITE WOOD FLOORING AND METHOD OF MAKING THE SAME
A composite panel configured for use with a flooring assembly of a trailer comprises a wood substrate and a fiber-reinforced coating coupled to a side of the wood substrate, the fiber-reinforced coating comprising a base material with a plurality of reinforcing fibers, wherein the fiber-reinforced coating is coupled to the wood substrate without the use of adhesive.
MACHINE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR BUILDING BOARD
A building board is finished in a first processing station via laterally operating processing means, where-in a first edge strip is glued along a first edge side of body element of the building board. In a second processing station a primary surface layer is glued, by vertically operating processing means, to cover the entire primary main side and the primary side of the first edge stripe. Thereafter, a vertical pressure is applied over the body element and the first edge stripe across a working direction while the body element and the first edge stripe pass the second processing station in such a manner that a primary side of the first edge stripe is brought in level with a primary main side of the body element when passing the second processing station.
Systems and methods for automated assembly of dynamic magnetic stripe communications devices
An automated conveyor system extends a continuous layer of plastic onto a moving conveyor. A pair of damming strips may be applied to the continuous layer of plastic as the conveyor advances. A liquid material may be sprayed between the damming strips and electronic assemblies may be robotically picked and placed onto the continuous layer of plastic between the damming strips and on top of the liquid material. Additional liquid material may be sprayed on top of the electronic assemblies as the conveyor moves. A continuous top plastic layer may be extended on top of the electronic assemblies, while a roller compresses the electronic assemblies between the top plastic layer and bottom plastic layer. A transparent clamp holds a portion of the compressed sub-assembly in place while the sub-assembly is cured. A sheering station sheers the sub-assembly as the conveyor indexes.

Apparatus for reducing flash for thermal transfer printers
The present disclosure is directed to a printing assembly that includes an image transfer station and a blower configured to intermittently provide a cooling stream of air to a product being printed upon. The blower may include a centrifugal fan and may have a single plenum providing air to two nozzles. The nozzles may be positioned such that the air targets the edges of the product to facilitate removal of the intermediate transfer media from the targeted areas and reduce the occurrence of flash. The blower may be configured to provide air when the product is expelled from the transfer assembly or while the intermediate transfer media is peeled from the product, but not to provide air when the product is being received by the transfer assembly. The printing assembly may include sensors and control circuitry for detecting the position of the product and controlling the blower accordingly.
