WATER-REPELLENT MEMBER, INKJET HEAD, METHOD OF MANUFACTURING WATER-REPELLENT MEMBER, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING INKJET HEAD
A water-repellent member includes a base layer formed on the substrate, projections dispersedly arranged on the base layer, a first water-repellent material provided on the base layer in contact with the base layer, and a second water-repellent material provided on the projections in contact with the projections. The first water-repellent material and the second water-repellent material are perfluoropolyether compounds. An oxygen concentration of the base layer is lower than an oxygen concentration of the projections.
Head chip, liquid jet head, liquid jet recording device, and method of manufacturing head chip
The head chip includes an actuator plate having ejection channels and non-ejection channels extending in a Y direction and arranged alternately in an X direction, an intermediate plate overlapped with the actuator plate in a Z direction, and provided with communication holes communicated with the ejection channels and through holes communicated with the non-ejection channels, and a nozzle plate overlapped with the intermediate plate in the Z direction in a state of closing the through holes, and provided with nozzle holes which are communicated with the communication holes, jet liquid contained in the ejection channels, and are formed at positions corresponding to the ejection channels. The non-ejection channels are communicated with an outside of the head chip. The through holes are each disposed at an inner side in the X direction of the inner surfaces extending in the Y direction of the non-ejection channel viewed from the Z direction.
Liquid ejecting head and liquid ejecting system
A liquid ejecting head including: an individual flow path row in which a plurality of individual flow paths communicating with a nozzle that ejects a liquid in a first axis direction are arranged in parallel along a second axis orthogonal to a first axis, and a first common liquid chamber communicating with the plurality of individual flow paths, in which each of the plurality of individual flow paths has a pressure chamber that stores a liquid.
Printing method and printing apparatus
A printing method for performing printing while complementing black with composite black, the printing method including: printing a test pattern having a plurality of patch images for which composite mode varies, this test pattern being printed for each dot size of the black to be complemented; causing a user to select a desired patch image from among the plurality of the patch images included in the printed test pattern, the selection being made for each of the dot size of the black ink to be complemented; and performing printing while complementing the black to be complemented with the composite black generated on a basis of the composite mode corresponding to the desired patch image selected correspondingly to the dot size of the black ink to be complemented.
Liquid ejecting head and liquid ejecting apparatus
A liquid ejecting head includes nozzles configured to eject liquid, pressure chambers communicating with the nozzles, the pressure chambers being configured to generate pressure for ejecting the liquid, a first liquid chamber configured to store the liquid to be supplied to the pressure chambers, a second liquid chamber configured to store the liquid that passed through the pressure chambers, first communication paths communicating with the pressure chambers from the first liquid chamber, second communication paths respectively communicating with the second liquid chamber from between the pressure chambers and the nozzles in which flow path resistance in the first communication paths is higher than flow path resistance in the second communication paths.
Printing apparatus with modular printhead system
A single pass inkjet printer that utilizes a modular printing system with one or more self-contained printing modules, where each printing module is easy to remove and replace from a large printing machine, thus resulting in an overall system that is easy to service and maintain. Each module is a self-contained printer including an ink supply, printhead drive electronics, and printhead assembly in order to provide one color or fluid of inkjet printing capability. Each module includes a precise three-point compliant self-aligning mount system to obtain accurate printhead positioning, and a unique integrated printhead tending system that includes a compact movable vacuum knife for cleaning the printheads, and a printhead capping station for sealing and protecting the printheads from the ambient environment when not in use.
Uniform print head surface coating
Aspects of the present disclosure are directed to forming a layer of material on a print head. As may be implemented in a manner consistent with examples herein, a layer of material from a transfer film is pressed against a surface of a print head, in which the surface defines fluid nozzle openings that extend from the surface into the print head. Portions of the material pressed onto the surface are therein adhered to the surface and caused to wrap over edges of the surface extending around the openings. The transfer film is removed along with a thickness of the material pressed into contact with the surface that remains adhered to the transfer film, as well as some or all of other regions of the material over the openings. The remaining layer of the material on the surface is thus formed with a uniform thickness.
Liquid discharge head
There is provided a liquid discharge head, including: a nozzle member formed having nozzle rows extending in a first direction, the nozzle rows being arranged in a second direction; driving elements; a first channel member disposed at one side of the nozzle member in a third direction; a second channel member disposed at the one side of the first channel member in the third direction; and a third channel member disposed at the one side of the second channel member in the third direction.
Molded printhead
In some examples, a print bar fabrication method comprises placing printhead dies face down on a carrier, placing a printed circuit board on the carrier, wire bonding each printhead die of the printhead dies to the printed circuit board, and overmolding the printhead dies and the printed circuit board on the carrier, including fully encapsulating the wire bonds.
INKJET HEAD AND PRODUCTION METHOD FOR INKJET HEAD
In order to provide an inkjet head using an adhesive containing an epoxy resin as a main agent and an imidazole-based curing agent as a curing agent, capable of securing a time for joining work before curing, and having excellent long-term reliability, and a production method for the inkjet head, constituent members are bonded to each other by an adhesive containing at least an epoxy resin as a main agent, a microencapsulated imidazole-based curing agent as a curing agent, and an alcohol that dissolves the microcapsules at a low temperature, and preferably, a residue of the microcapsules dissolved by the alcohol is dispersed in the cured epoxy resin.
