Liquid ejecting head and liquid ejecting apparatus
A liquid ejecting apparatus is provided comprising: a liquid ejecting head; and a controller. The liquid ejecting head including: a nozzle from which a liquid is ejected; a first communication passage that is in communication with the first nozzle; a first pressure compartment; a first drive element that changes a pressure of the first pressure compartment; a first passage that connects the first pressure compartment and the first communication passage; a second pressure compartment; a second drive element that changes a pressure of the second pressure compartment; a second passage that connects the second pressure compartment and the first communication passage. The controller performs a first mode and a second mode, the first mode being a mode in which liquid flows from the first pressure compartment through the first communication passage to the nozzle, and liquid flows the second pressure compartment through the second communication passage to the nozzle, and, the second mode being a mode in which liquid flows from the first pressure compartment through the first communication passage to the nozzle, and liquid flows from the nozzle through the second communication passage to the second pressure compartment.
Printhead nozzle addressing
Fluid ejection devices with multiple activation modes are disclosed. An example printhead assembly includes a fluid ejection nozzle, a first resistor fluidically coupled to the fluid ejection nozzle, and a second resistor fluidically coupled to the fluid ejection nozzle. The example printhead also includes an addressing circuit to receive a nozzle address and an activation mode to activate the fluid ejection nozzle. The activation mode determines which of the first resistor and the second resistor are to be energized.
LIQUID EJECTION HEAD AND RECORDING DEVICE
A liquid ejection head having a channel member which includes an ejection hole surface and a pressurization chamber surface opposite thereto. An actuator substrate overlaps the pressurization chamber surface. The channel member includes a plurality of ejection holes opening in the ejection hole surface, a plurality of pressurization chambers individually communicating with the plurality of ejection holes and arranged in plan view of the pressurization chamber surface, and a plurality of dummy pressurization chambers positioned outside of the predetermined region in plan view of the pressurization chamber surface. The actuator substrate includes a plurality of pressurization portions that individually pressurize the pressurization chambers, and a plurality of dummy pressurization portions that individually pressurize the dummy pressurization chambers. The dummy pressurization chambers communicate with each other via a plurality of communication paths. A closed space including the plurality of dummy pressurization chambers and the plurality of communication paths is hermetically closed.
FLOW-THROUGH PRINTHEAD WITH BYPASS MANIFOLD
Printheads for a jetting apparatus. In one embodiment, a printhead comprises a plurality of flow-through jetting channels each configured to jet a print fluid out of a nozzle. The printhead further includes a supply manifold fluidly coupled to the flow-through jetting channels, a return manifold fluidly coupled to the flow-through jetting channels, and one or more bypass manifolds fluidly coupled between the supply manifold and the return manifold.
Liquid discharging head and liquid discharging apparatus
Provided is a liquid discharging head including: a nozzle discharging a liquid; a chamber plate having a plurality of pressure chambers, drive elements provided in correspondence with each pressure chamber, and a plurality of lead electrodes for supplying electric signals to the drive elements; and a circuit substrate having terminals coupled to the lead electrodes. A first pressure chamber and a second pressure chamber communicate with the nozzle in common. A first segment electrode is formed so as to overlap the first pressure chamber and is not to overlap the second pressure chamber in plan view. A second segment electrode is formed so as to overlap the second pressure chamber and is not to overlap the first pressure chamber in plan view. The first segment electrode and the second segment electrode are coupled to the same lead electrode.
Droplet discharge head
A droplet discharge head each includes a first liquid chamber formed on a flow path forming substrate, a nozzle communicating with the first liquid chamber, and a first inflow path for supplying a liquid to the first liquid chamber, and a first actuator that individually changes a pressure in the first liquid chamber, a second actuator that changes pressures in a plurality of first liquid chambers in common, in which an amount of expansion/contraction of the second actuator is larger than that of the first actuator.
LIQUID EJECTING HEAD AND LIQUID EJECTING APPARATUS
Wall surfaces of the nozzle channel include a first wall surface which extends in the first direction and in which the nozzle is provided and a second wall surface which extends in the first direction and is opposite to the first wall surface, wall surfaces of the first communication channel include a third wall surface which extends in the second direction and a distance from which to the nozzle in the first direction is longest and a fourth wall surface which extends in the second direction and is opposite to the third wall surface, and a fifth wall surface which extends in a third direction set between the first direction and the second direction is provided between the second wall surface and the fourth wall surface.
Driving method of liquid feeding apparatus
A driving method enables a liquid feeding apparatus using a driving element in a membrane shape to feed a liquid at high liquid feeding accuracy. To this end, a voltage applied to the driving element is controlled in such a way as to repeat a first period in which a first voltage is applied and a second period which is a longer period than the first period and used to effect a change between the first voltage and a second voltage lower than the first voltage, and in such a way as to switch between application and non-application of the first voltage during the first period.
Liquid discharge head
There is provided a liquid discharge head including: a plurality of pressure chambers including pressure chambers aligned in a first direction orthogonal to a vertical direction so as to form a first pressure chamber group, and pressure chambers aligned in the first direction so as to form a second pressure chamber group arranged side to side relative to the first pressure chamber group in a second direction; a return channel extending in the first direction; and return connecting channels each connecting the return channel and one of the plurality of pressure chambers to each other, wherein a height of an upper surface of each of the return connecting channels is not less than a height of an upper surface of one of the plurality of pressure chambers which is connected to the return channel by each of the return connecting channels.
