Each of the plurality of discharging channels includes a resistance portion with a larger pressure loss than a corresponding supply channel of the plurality of supply channels.

The suction device sucks: the waste liquid in the cap to discharge the waste liquid to the waste liquid storage through the waste liquid channel; and the cleaning liquid in the cleaning liquid storage to supply the cleaning liquid to the cap through the cleaning liquid channel.

Printing apparatus and printing method

A printing apparatus includes a housing, a medium support unit having a support surface supporting a medium, and a printing unit configured to perform printing on the medium supported by the support surface. The housing accommodates the medium support unit and the printing unit. The medium support unit includes a position adjustment unit configured to adjust a position of the support surface in an intersecting direction intersecting the support surface. The position adjustment unit can move the support surface from outside the movement range to within the movement range when the printing is not being performed by the printing unit and the head is disposed at a retracted position.

The service station includes a spittoon assembly configured to receive at least some of the droplets from the nozzle plate, a vacuum knife assembly configured to remove at least one of: debris, or at least some of the droplets from a surface of the nozzle plate, and a non-contact wash assembly comprising a plurality of weirs configured to upwell a washing fluid and immersively receive the nozzle plate in the washing fluid.

The drying unit dries the absorbing member when the ejecting unit is positioned, during printing, at a stop position at which the ejecting unit stops.
