LIQUID DISCHARGING APPARATUS, METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE LIQUID DISCHARGING APPARATUS, AND COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM

A liquid discharging apparatus, having a head with nozzles, a scanning assembly, a conveyer, and a controller, is provided. The controller is configured to conduct actions including a conveying action and a scanning action. The scanning action includes a forward scanning action and a backward scanning action, in each of which a deceleration distance is longer than an acceleration distance. The controller is configured to determine, prior to conducting the forward scanning action, whether a deceleration range corresponding to the deceleration distance in the forward scanning action coincides with a discharging range in the forward scanning action. In a case where the controller determines that the deceleration range coincides with the discharging range, the controller is configured to conduct the backward scanning action, without conducting the forward scanning action, based on partial image data being a part of the image data corresponding to the forward scanning action.

Liquid Ejection Device, Method of Controlling Liquid Ejection Device, and Non-Transitory Computer-Readable Recording Medium Therefor

A controller of a liquid ejection device obtains a temperature of a head after recording and before a pre-cap flushing and determines a pre-cap flushing voltage based on the temperature. Then, the controller outputs the pre-cap flushing voltage to the head in the pre-cap flushing process.

LIQUID EJECTING DEVICE SETTING NON-EJECTION DRIVE TIME BASED ON UNCAPPED TIME, TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDITY
20220242125 · 2022-08-04 · ·

A liquid ejecting device includes a head, a cap, a moving mechanism and a controller. The moving mechanism is configured to move the head and the cap relative to each other to switch the cap between a capping state in which the cap is in contact with the head and covers the plurality of nozzles and a non-capping state in which the cap is separated from the head and uncovers the same. The controller is configured to perform setting a non-ejection drive time based on an uncapped time duration which is a length of time from a timing at which the cap is switched to the non-capping state until a timing at which the cap is switched back to the capping state. The controller is configured to perform vibrating meniscus of liquid in the plurality of nozzles during the non-ejection drive time.

An image forming apparatus includes a conveyance part, a head unit, a distance changing part, three blocks and three pins. The distance changing part moves the head unit between a printing position where a printing operation is performed and a retreat position separated away from the conveyance part farther than the printing position. The three blocks are provided in one of the conveyance part and the head unit at intervals in the conveyance direction and a width direction crossing the conveyance direction. The three pins are provided in the other of the conveyance part and the head unit at positions facing the three blocks. Each of the three blocks has a positioning groove having a pair of inclined surfaces. The pins come into two-point contact with the inclined surfaces of the blocks in a state where the head unit is positioned in the printing position.
