Recording apparatus and method of controlling recording apparatus
A recording apparatus includes a liquid ejection head, where the liquid ejection head includes: an ejection port, a first substrate, and a temperature detection element. The ejection port ejects liquid and includes a protrusion extending toward an ejection port inside. The first substrate includes a heating element that ejects liquid from the ejection port using heat. The temperature detection element detects temperature of the first substrate. Driving of the heating element is controlled based on whether a difference between a voltage value Vp1 measured by the temperature detection element and a preset voltage value Vp01 has a positive value within or outside a predetermined range or a negative value outside the predetermined range. The voltage value Vp1 is measured when a temperature change amount becomes maximum in a temperature falling process of a second substrate located, after the heating element is driven, at a position corresponding to the heating element.
INKJET PRINTING APPARATUS
An inkjet printing apparatus includes a stage on which a target substrate is mounted, and an inkjet head positioned above the stage, wherein the inkjet head includes an ejection part including a plurality of nozzles that spray ink containing a plurality of particles, a filter part disposed above the ejection part, and selectively passing the plurality of particles, and an electric field generating electrode that is disposed in the filter part and generates an electric field in the filter part.
Liquid ejection apparatus and system including liquid ejection apparatus
There is provided a liquid ejection apparatus, including: a head; a signal output circuit; a discharge mechanism; a controller; and a memory in which association information is stored. The controller is configured to: diagnose a degree of defectiveness of the head based on a signal from the signal output circuit; and receive, from a user, an input of discharge amount information. In response to the input of the discharge amount information, the controller is configured to: control the discharge mechanism to discharge a liquid by a discharge amount corresponding to the discharge amount information; and change the association in the association information based on the discharge amount corresponding to the discharge amount information and a discharge amount that corresponds to the degree of the defectiveness of the head.
Liquid ejecting apparatus and method for activating liquid ejecting apparatus
A liquid ejecting apparatus includes a printing portion and a control portion. The printing portion executes a printing operation including ejecting a liquid from a nozzle onto a medium. The control portion executes an initial operation upon supply of power and executes the printing operation in accordance with a print instruction. The initial operation and the printing operation include a common printing operation that is common to the initial operation and the printing operation. When the control portion does not receive the print instruction during execution of the initial operation, the control portion executes the initial operation including the common printing operation. When the control portion receives the print instruction during execution of the initial operation, the control portion omits the common printing operation from the initial operation.
LIQUID ABSORBER AND PRINTING APPARATUS
A liquid absorber of the present disclosure includes: a first base material; a second base material; and an absorption layer provided between the first base material and the second base material, in which the first base material and the second base material both contain a flame-retardant filament nonwoven fabric, and a content of a flame retardant in the absorption layer is less than 10% by mass.
Inkjet head cleaning unit and cleaning system
An inkjet printer cleaning system includes an inkjet printer and a cleaning unit. The inkjet printer includes an ink head and a table that faces the ink head and on which a substrate is to be placed. The cleaning unit includes an attachment attachable to and removable from the table, and a cleaner that faces the ink head upon attaching of the attachment to the table.
Liquid ejection device, imprint apparatus, and examination method
A liquid ejection device includes: a liquid ejection unit with an ejection port surface provided with an ejection port from which liquid is ejected and configured to eject the liquid onto a substrate at an ejection position; an image capturing mechanism configured to face the ejection port surface of the liquid ejection unit and to capture an image of the ejection port surface at a maintenance position different from the ejection position; and a lighting unit configured to irradiate the ejection port surface at multiple incidence angles with respect to the ejection port surface in an operation of capturing an image of the ejection port surface by the image capturing mechanism.
AEROSOL REMOVAL
The present disclosure relates to methods and devices for removing an aerosol generated during a printing process. In an example there is disclosed a device which may comprise an air suction device, an air flow baffle, an aerosol absorber, and a droplet filter. The air suction device may draw air away from an area around a printhead nozzle, past the air flow baffle, through the droplet filter, towards the air suction device. The air flow baffle may cause a change in air flow direction such that at least some aerosol droplets contact the aerosol absorber.
Printing apparatus and correction method therefor
A printing apparatus includes a printhead having a plurality of chips, each including a plurality of nozzle arrays which are arranged in a predetermined nozzle array direction and each of which is formed from a plurality of nozzles and energy generation elements provided in correspondence with the nozzles of each nozzle array and each configured to generate energy used for discharging ink. The apparatus relatively moves the printhead and a print medium in a direction intersecting the nozzle array direction, reads a predetermined test pattern printed on the print medium by driving the printhead, analyzes the read test pattern, calculates a slant of the printhead with respect to a reference based on a result of the analysis, and corrects the calculated slant of the printhead by moving the printhead.
METHOD FOR CONTROLLING MEDIUM PROCESSING APPARATUS, METHOD FOR CONTROLLING RECORDING SYSTEM, POST-PROCESING APPARATUS, AND RECORDING SYSTEM
A medium processing apparatus includes an intermediate stacker on which media recorded by a recording apparatus are stacked, the recording apparatus including a liquid ejection head which performs recording by ejecting liquid to media and a maintenance apparatus which performs maintenance of the liquid ejection head, and a processor which executes a process on the media received by the intermediate stacker. The medium processing apparatus executes the process after a medium which is last recorded before the maintenance is stacked on the intermediate stacker.
