LIQUID DISCHARGING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PERFORMING MAINTENANCE OF LIQUID DISCHARGING DEVICE
A liquid discharging device includes a head, a cap, a first wiper, a discharge channel, and a controller. The head ejects liquid from a nozzle. The cap is configured to abut against a nozzle surface at a covered position and to separate from the nozzle surface in a retracted position. The first wiper wipes the nozzle surface. The discharge channel connects an internal space of the cap to an outside of the cap. The controller executes a first maintenance process and a second maintenance process. In the first maintenance process, a first maintenance liquid contacts the cap in the retracted position and the first wiper. In the second maintenance process, a second maintenance liquid different from the first maintenance liquid is distributed to the internal space of the cap and the discharge channel.
Inkjet recording apparatus
An inkjet recording apparatus includes a recording head, a wiper member, a cleaning liquid supply device, a cleaning liquid flow path, and a controller. The cleaning liquid flow path includes a vertical tubular member connected to the cleaning liquid supply device and extending upward, and a horizontal tubular member connected to an upper end of the vertical tubular member and extending in a horizontal direction. The controller extrudes a cleaning liquid in at least a part of the cleaning liquid flow path from a cleaning liquid supply port before control of a cleaning operation for wiping an ink ejection surface of the recording head, thereby performing control of an air bubble release operation of the cleaning liquid flow path.
RECORDING DEVICE
A recording device has: a recording head configured to perform recording on a medium; a medium storage below the recording head configured to store the medium to be recoded; a supply path comprising a first curved supply path curved so as to be convex upward and transporting the medium fed out of the medium storage in a reversed direction via the first curved supply path; and a reversing path comprising a second curved path curved so as to be convex downward and transporting the recorded medium into a direction including a vertically upward component via second curved path from a direction including a vertically downward component; wherein the supply path joins the reversing path, and the first curved path and the second curved path overlap when viewed horizontally.
LIQUID DISCHARGE APPARATUS
There is provided a liquid discharge apparatus including: a head having a nozzle surface and a nozzle opened in the nozzle surface; a cap configured to make contact with the nozzle surface at a covering position and configured to be separated away from the nozzle surface at a retreating position; a liquid channel configured to communicate an internal space of the cap and outside of the cap to each other; a lid member configured to make contact with the cap located at the retreating position so as to seal the internal space of the cap; and a heater which is positioned above the cap located at the retreating position. The lid member is positioned between the heater and the cap in an up-down direction in a state that the lid member seals the internal space of the cap.
Head bar unit and printing apparatus including head bar unit
There is provided a head bar unit including a head bar, an adjuster and a movement. The head bar includes a plurality of heads. The adjuster is supported by the head bar, and is configured to adjust positions in a vertical direction of the heads. The movement is configured to move the head bar and the adjuster in the vertical direction. The adjuster includes a motor, a rotator and a stopper. The rotator includes a plurality of contact portions. The rotator is configured to be rotated by the motor around a rotating shaft. The stopper is located at a position facing the rotator in the vertical direction, and is configured to position the rotator in the vertical direction, by making contact with one of the contact portions.
RECORDING APPARATUS
A recording apparatus includes a plurality of medium containing units that is provided along a vertical direction and contains a medium before recording, a liquid ejecting head that performs recording by ejecting liquid toward the medium, and at least one liquid containing unit that contains the liquid. The plurality of medium containing units includes a first medium containing unit located at an uppermost position, and a second medium containing unit located below the first medium containing unit. A size of the first medium containing unit in a medium feeding-out direction, in which the medium is fed out, is smaller than a size of the second medium containing unit in the medium feeding-out direction, and the at least one liquid containing unit is provided above the second medium containing unit in such a way as to overlap with the first medium containing unit in a vertical direction.
Liquid ejecting apparatus, controlling method for liquid ejecting apparatus and medium storing controlling program for liquid ejecting apparatus
A liquid ejecting apparatus includes: a head having nozzles; a conveyor configured to convey a recording medium; and a controller. The controller executes: a recording processing of conveying the recording medium by the conveyor and ejecting liquid from the nozzles with respect to the recording medium based on image data; a flushing processing of discharging the liquid from the nozzles with respect to a flushing area, based on flushing data different from the image data; and a first determining processing of determining, based on the image data, whether a time interval after completion of a first recording processing and until start of a second recording processing exceeds a threshold value.
NOZZLE SURFACE RECOVERY DEVICE, LIQUID DISCHARGE DEVICE, AND INKJET PRINTER
A nozzle surface recovery device includes: a cap configured to cap a nozzle surface of a liquid discharge head; a guide configured to guide the cap in a first direction; and a first position adjuster configured to adjust a position of the cap with respect to the nozzle surface in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction, and the first position adjuster including: a first roller rotatable along the guide to move the cap in the first direction between a capping position at which the cap caps the nozzle surface and a retraction position at which the cap is retracted from the capping position; and a first adjustment plate coupled to the first roller, the first adjustment plate configured to adjust the position of the cap with respect to the guide in the second direction.
PRINTING UNIT WITH THREE PRINTHEADS
A printing unit includes: three elongate printheads positioned in a staggered overlapping arrangement for spanning across a media feed path, wherein a first printhead and a second printhead are longitudinally spaced apart and positioned in a row across the media feed path and a third printhead is offset from and overlaps with both the first and second printheads; three wipers for longitudinally wiping respective printheads in a direction perpendicular to a media feed direction, each wiper being parked at one longitudinal end of its respective printhead. One of the wipers, in its parked position, is positioned in a space between the first and second printheads.
