LIQUID EJECTING APPARATUS
A liquid ejecting apparatus includes a liquid ejecting head that ejects liquid, supplied from a liquid supplier, toward a medium, an mounting portion on which the liquid supplier is removably mounted, and a supply channel that supplies the liquid from the mounting portion to the liquid ejecting head. The mounting portion has a frame forming an accommodating space capable of accommodating the liquid supplier, and the supply channel includes a portion disposed along the frame.
Cartridge, printing system, and printing device
A cartridge includes a cartridge side terminal electrically coupled to a device side terminal, a liquid supply portion that is coupled to a liquid introduction portion and that makes a liquid flow to the liquid introduction portion, a terminal positioning portion that performs positioning by receiving a device side terminal positioning portion to regulate movement of the cartridge side terminal with respect to the device side terminal, and a supply portion positioning portion that performs positioning by receiving a device side supply portion positioning portion to regulate movement of the liquid supply portion with respect to the liquid introduction portion. A first direction is a direction intersecting a second direction, the first direction being a direction in which the terminal positioning portion extends, the second direction being a direction in which the supply portion positioning portion extends.
LIQUID EJECTING APPARATUS
A liquid ejecting apparatus includes a liquid ejecting head that ejects a liquid supplied from a liquid supplier which has an engaging portion, a container that has an engaging-portion-receiving portion with which the engaging portion engages, and an attaching portion to which the container is detachably attached. The liquid supplier is detachably attached to the attaching portion with movement of the container in a state where the engaging portion has engaged with the engaging-portion-receiving portion. The engaging portion engages with the engaging-portion-receiving portion to be relatively movable in a direction which crosses a movement path of the container when the container is attached to the attaching portion.
System and method for preserving ink viscosity in inkjets in an inkjet printer during printing
A method of operating a printer supplies an ink solvent or mixture of ink solvents to porous members positioned adjacent printheads. The ink solvent or solvent mixture evaporates from the porous members to provide a solvent vapor environment in the vicinity of the nozzle plates of the printheads. The solvent vapor environment attenuates the evaporation of ink solvent from ink drops on the nozzle plates or from the ink in the nozzles of the printheads. Thus, the ink on the nozzle plates and in the nozzles does not dry out and the operational status of the inkjets is preserved.
DEVICE FOR GUIDING A PRINTER
A device (1) is for guiding printer (20). The device (1) is utilized in a method for using a handheld electronic printer (20) with the device (1). The device (1) includes a base (2) having at least one guide (5), and a carriage (3) having at least two separate links (26, 27) engaged with the at least one guide (5). The at least one guide (5) has at least two linear sections (7, 8) being spaced apart and parallel. The at least one guide (5) includes at least two changeover sections (10, 11), each connecting two linear sections (7, 8). The changeover sections (10, 11) are arranged at different positions of the linear sections (7, 8) the changeover sections respectively connect.
PRINTING METHOD AND PRINTING APPARATUS FOR IMPROVING VISIBILITY AND PRINTED MATTER PRINTED USING THE PRINTING METHOD
There are provided a printing method and a printing apparatus for increasing visibility and printed matter printed using the printing method. The printing apparatus sprays a light-absorbing composition to form a light-absorbing layer on a print medium, and then sprays a color-variable composition on the light-absorbing layer to form a color-variable layer.
AQUEOUS INK, INK CARTRIDGE AND INK JET RECORDING METHOD
An aqueous ink for ink jet including a resin particle. The resin particle has a first layer and a second layer in this order from the inside toward the outside of the resin particle. The first layer is formed of a first resin in which the proportion of a unit derived from a cycloaliphatic-group-containing ethylenically unsaturated monomer is 10% by mass or less. The tetrahydrofuran-insoluble fraction of the second layer is 15% by mass or more. The second layer is formed of a second resin having the unit derived from the cycloaliphatic-group-containing ethylenically unsaturated monomer and a unit derived from an ionic-group-containing ethylenically unsaturated monomer. The proportion of the unit derived from the ionic-group-containing ethylenically unsaturated monomer in the second resin is 3% by mass or more to 70% by mass or less.
AQUEOUS INK, INK CARTRIDGE, AND INK JET RECORDING METHOD
An aqueous ink for ink jet, the aqueous ink including a pigment and a resin for dispersing the pigment. The pigment is impregnated with a compound having a structure in which at least two structures each represented by General Formula (1) are bonded by a glycoside bond.

Liquid Ejecting Apparatus And Liquid Ejecting Method
A liquid ejecting apparatus includes: a liquid ejecting head including an ejecting surface configured to eject a liquid; a tank that reserves the liquid to be supplied to the liquid ejecting head; a circulating mechanism that executes a circulating operation to circulate the liquid between the liquid ejecting head and the tank; and a control unit that controls the circulating mechanism. The control unit executes a recording operation by the liquid ejecting head in a first posture in which the ejecting surface crosses a horizontal plane and executes the circulating operation in a second posture in which an angle made by the ejecting surface and the horizontal plane is smaller than the angle in the first posture.
