SEALING MEMBER, METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME, PRESSURE ADJUSTMENT MECHANISM, LIQUID EJECTION HEAD, AND LIQUID EJECTION APPARATUS
Provided is a sealing member to be used as a valve in a pressure adjustment mechanism. The sealing member includes a base member having high strength, and has high reliability. The sealing member includes an elastic member (valve portion) having an annular abutment portion (valve distal end portion) formed as an annular protrusion and the base member (lever portion). When a held portion having a tubular shape extending from the annular abutment portion is held in an annular groove formed in the base member, the elastic member is fixed to the base member. A holding length over which an annular groove holds the held portion along a depth direction of the base member is set longer than a width of the annular groove.
INK DELIVERY SYSTEM WITH FILTER PROTECTION
An ink delivery system for delivering ink to an inkjet printhead includes: an ink tank; the inkjet printhead having a printhead inlet port and a printhead outlet port; an ink supply line connected between the ink tank and the printhead inlet port; an ink return line connected between the ink tank and the printhead outlet port; an ink recirculation pump positioned in the ink return line; an ink filter positioned in the ink return line; a bypass line for bypassing ink around the ink filter; a bypass valves for controlling flow of ink either through the ink filter or through the bypass line; and a controller for coordinating the bypass valve and the pump. The controller is configured to pump ink from the printhead outlet port to the ink tank via the bypass line when the return line contains air.
FLUID EJECTION AND CIRCULATION
A fluid ejection and circulation apparatus may include a fluid ejection device, a filter to filter fluid supplied to the fluid ejection device and a pressure regulator. The pressure regulator may include a fluid chamber having a fluid port and a first port extending from the fluid chamber to the filter. The pressure regulator may further include a valve to open and close the fluid port and a compliant chamber within the fluid chamber. The compliant chamber is to undergo different inflation levels in response to fluid chamber pressure. The valve is to open and close the fluid port in response to changes in an inflation level of the compliant chamber. The fluid chamber comprises a second port cooperating with the first port to form a circulation path through the fluid chamber that is directed away from the filter.
LIQUID STORAGE CONTAINER
A liquid storage container includes a storage chamber that stores a liquid, a filter chamber that is provided with a filter and receives the liquid from the storage chamber to filter the liquid by the filter, and a partition wall that separates the storage chamber and the filter chamber. The partition wall is provided with a communication hole structure that allows the storage chamber and the filter chamber to communicate with each other. A shape of one or more openings of the communication hole structure in the storage chamber is a shape in which a distance from a center of gravity of an entirety of the one or more openings to the closest point in a contour defining the one or more openings is smaller than a radius of a circle having the same area as an area of the entirety of the one or more openings.

Liquid supply device and liquid discharge device
A liquid supply device includes a first conduit, a second conduit, one or more pumps, a heater, a filter, and a bypass conduit. The first conduit is connected to an upstream side of a liquid discharge head. The second conduit is connected to a downstream side of the liquid discharge head. The liquid is supplied through the first conduit to the liquid discharge head and recovered from the liquid discharge head through the second conduit. The heater is provided along the first conduit. The filter is provided in the first conduit on a downstream side of the heater. The bypass conduit is connected between a portion of the first conduit upstream with respect to the filter and a portion of the second conduit.
Combination including carbon powder replenishing bottle and carbon powder storage member
A combination includes a carbon powder replenishing bottle and a carbon powder storage member combined together. The carbon powder replenishing bottle includes: a hollow body storing carbon powder; and a bottle mouth, which is connected to the hollow body and has a stopper portion, wherein the stopper portion restricts a depth, by which the bottle mouth is placed into a carbon powder entrance of the carbon powder storage member, so that the bottle mouth is only partially inserted into the carbon powder entrance to form a hermetic connection with the carbon powder entrance through the stopper portion. The stopper portion is entirely accommodated within an outer housing of the carbon powder storage member, In the carbon powder storage member, a fluid in the housing is discharged through a fluid discharge mechanism when a user performs a refilling operation.
Froth coalescing vent
An example device includes a defrothing portion to separate froth into a coalesced fluid and air, an air vent to vent the air from the defrothing portion, and a membrane on an outer surface of the defrothing portion, the membrane sealing the air vent. The membrane is formed of a material to prevent fluid from passing therethrough.

A liquid ejecting apparatus includes: a liquid supply path coupled to a liquid ejection portion to supply a liquid thereto; a liquid discharge path coupled to the liquid ejection portion to discharge the liquid to be supplied thereto; an upstream damper portion which is provided as a part of the liquid supply path and which includes an upstream damper chamber having a wall partially composed of a flexible membrane with a rubber elasticity; and a downstream damper portion which is provided as at least one of a part of the liquid supply path between the upstream damper portion and the liquid ejection portion and a part of the liquid discharge path and which has a flexible wall composed of a resin film.
