Dual regulator print module

A print module includes a printhead die, an input regulator to regulate input fluid pressure to the die, and an output regulator to regulate output fluid pressure from the die. A method includes receiving fluid at an input regulator to a print module, creating a fluid pressure differential within the print module between the input regulator and an output regulator, flowing fluid from the input regulator through a printhead die and to an output regulator using the pressure differential, and drawing fluid from the output regulator.

LIQUID EJECTING HEAD AND LIQUID EJECTING APPARATUS

There is provided a liquid ejecting head including: first and second nozzle rows extending in a first direction; a first supply flow path; a first filter chamber having a first inlet; and a second filter chamber having a second inlet, in which the first and second nozzle rows are shifted from each other in both the first direction and a second direction orthogonal to the first direction, the first supply flow path has a branch flow path for distributing the liquid between the first filter chamber and the second filter chamber at a branch position, the branch position is disposed between the first filter chamber and the second filter chamber in a plan view, and the first and second inlets are disposed at a part where the first filter chamber and the second filter chamber overlap each other when viewed in the second direction.

LIQUID EJECTING HEAD AND LIQUID EJECTING APPARATUS

There is provided a liquid ejecting head which is long in a first direction and short in a second direction, including: a first introduction section; a second introduction section; a first filter chamber group having a first filter chamber and a second filter chamber; a second filter chamber group having a third filter chamber and a fourth filter chamber; a first supply flow path for supplying the liquid from the first introduction section to the first filter chamber group; and a second supply flow path for supplying the liquid from the second introduction section to the second filter chamber group, in which the first introduction section, the second introduction section, the first filter chamber group, and the second filter chamber group are arranged side by side in this order in the first direction.

Ink maintenance system for a printer
20220266597 · 2022-08-25 ·

An ink maintenance system for a printer comprising a first tray having a base and a plurality of side walls, the first tray having a first length and an open top along the length and a second tray having a base and a plurality of side walls, the second tray having a second length and an open top along its length. The system also includes a fan and a filter. To use the system, a print head is positioned in a standby or cleaning position within the printer and ink is ejected from one or more print nozzles into an ink maintenance system within the printer such that the ejected ink is collected in at least one of a catch tray or a filter of the ink maintenance system. The system is then removable from the printer for cleaning.

FLOW-PATH STRUCTURE AND LIQUID EJECTING HEAD

A flow-path structure configures an internal flow path for supply a liquid to a nozzle which ejects the liquid, and the flow-path structure includes a filter disposed across the internal flow path; a defoaming space that communicates with a defoaming route through which gases are discharged; and a first gas permeable membrane that is interposed between the defoaming space and a storage space positioned on a downstream side from the filter.

An ink jet head includes an actuator and a structure body. The actuator includes a thin film portion, a pressure chamber layer, and a filter. The thin film portion is deformed by application of a voltage to apply a pressure to an ink. The pressure chamber layer is formed on a surface of the pressure chamber and has a recessed portion. The filter is integrally formed with the pressure chamber layer so as to be disposed in the recessed portion, the filter having an aperture smaller than a diameter of a nozzle. The actuator is stacked on an upper surface of the structure body and joined to the upper surface thereof. A pressure chamber is formed by the recessed portion and the upper surface of the structure body, and the filter is disposed in the pressure chamber.
