LIQUID DISCHARGE APPARATUS AND IMPRINT APPARATUS
A liquid discharge apparatus has a storage portion configured to store a discharged material, a discharge port configured to communicate with the storage portion and discharge the discharged material stored in the storage portion, and a pressure control device configured to control a pressure of the discharged material stored in the storage portion. The pressure control device controls the pressure of the discharged material to shift from a first negative pressure state, to a second negative pressure state of a greater negative pressure than the first negative pressure state, and then to a third positive pressure state.
Liquid container and liquid discharge apparatus
A liquid container configured to store a liquid to be supplied to a liquid discharge head, the liquid container includes a tank case, a first container in the tank case, the first container configured to store the liquid, a second container, separated from the first container, in the tank case, the second container configured to store the liquid, a communication channel connecting the first container and the second container, a first valve configured to open when the liquid is fed to the first container, and a second valve configured to open when the liquid is discharged from the second container.
Liquid ejecting apparatus
A liquid ejecting apparatus including a liquid ejecting head that ejects a liquid, a liquid storage portion that stores the liquid, a supply flow path that communicates the liquid ejecting head and the liquid storage portion with each other, and an air chamber that is coupled to the supply flow path through a plurality of flow paths. The supply flow path includes a filter. The plurality of flow paths are, in the supply flow path, connected upstream of the filter, and the air chamber is positioned at a position higher than the filter when in a posture during use.
Print surface positioning system for food product printer
A system and method for positioning a food product with respect to a print head for printing on a surface thereof. The system is incorporated into a printer. The system has a movable support surface for supporting the food product thereon, the support surface being vertically and horizontally moveable with respect to the print head. A sensor is provided for detecting a position of a surface of the food product positioned on the moveable support surface with respect to the print head. The sensor provides a signal to the printer indicative of a position of the surface of the food product and wherein the moveable support surface is adjustable in response thereto. The sensor is a position sensor configured to detect the position of a top surface of the food product.
DROSS EXTRACTION SYSTEM FOR AN MHD PRINTER AND METHODS THEREOF
A dross extraction system for a printer is disclosed. The dross extraction system includes an ejector defining an inner cavity associated therewith, the inner cavity retaining a liquid printing material. The dross extraction system also includes an inlet coupled to the inner cavity and a conduit external to the ejector having a distal opening, positionable to contact the liquid printing material to attract dross therein, thereby extracting dross from the liquid printing material when a negative pressure is introduced between an internal volume of the conduit and the dross.
Liquid discharging head, liquid discharging unit, and device for discharging liquid
A liquid discharging head includes a nozzle plate having a plurality of nozzles from which liquid is discharged; a plurality of individual liquid chambers that are communicably connected to the plurality of nozzles, respectively; a common liquid chamber that supplies liquid to the plurality of individual liquid chambers; and a circulation common liquid chamber that leads to a plurality of circulation channels. A part of the common liquid chamber overlaps the circulation common liquid chamber from a direction in which liquid is discharged from the nozzles, and another part of the common liquid chamber overlaps the circulation common liquid chamber from a direction orthogonal to both the direction in which liquid is discharged from the nozzles and a direction in which the nozzles are aligned.
LIQUID EJECTING HEAD AND LIQUID EJECTING APPARATUS
A liquid ejecting head configured to eject a liquid in a first direction includes: head units arranged side by side in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction and a flow channel member having a first supply flow channel through which the liquid is supplied to the head units, a first collection flow channel through which the liquid is collected from the head units, a first inlet portion through which the liquid is let into the first supply flow channel from the outside, and a first outlet portion through which the liquid is let out to the outside from the first collection flow channel. The first inlet portion and the first outlet portion are disposed near the center of the flow channel member in the second direction.
LIQUID EJECTING APPARATUS AND FILLING METHOD OF LIQUID EJECTING HEAD
A liquid ejecting apparatus includes: a liquid ejecting portion; a liquid storage portion; a filter chamber including an upstream chamber and a downstream chamber divided by a filter; a supply path; a discharge path; an opening/closing valve opening/closing the discharge path; and a pump pressurizing the ink in order to make the ink flow from the liquid storage portion to the upstream chamber, wherein a filling operation of filling the upstream chamber with the ink by driving the pump so that the ink does not pass through the filter in a state in which the opening/closing valve is opened, and then closing the opening/closing valve while the ink is flowing from the liquid storage portion toward the supply path, the upstream chamber, and the discharge path by the driving of the pump is performed.
Printing device and filter
A printing device includes an inkjet head, a filter accommodating portion, a filter configured to be accommodated in the filter accommodating portion and extending in a given direction from one end to the other end of the filter to collect mist, and a grip portion provided at least one of the one end or the other end of the filter. The grip portion includes a handle protruding from the filter, a recessed portion recessed inside the filter, or a hole.
