PRINT APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD OF THE SAME, PRINTHEAD, AND PRINT SYSTEM
A print unit includes a reactive liquid element row in which a plurality of print elements are arrayed in a first direction, a first element row in which a plurality of print elements are arrayed in the first direction, and a second element row in which a plurality of print elements are arrayed in the first direction. The reactive liquid element row, the first element row, and the second element row are arrayed in this order in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. A scan unit scans the print unit in the second direction. A print control unit controls a print operation by the print unit such that a ratio of the number of pixels permitted to eject the second ink to the number of pixels in a predetermined region on the print medium does not exceed a threshold.
RECORDING APPARATUS, METHOD, AND MEDIUM
A recording apparatus that causes less degradation of image quality due to blurring caused by dot misalignment between an ink containing a coloring material and a reaction liquid includes a recording unit configured to record an image on a recording medium by applying an ink containing a coloring material and a reaction liquid containing a component that aggregates the coloring material, an acquisition unit configured to acquire multi-valued ink data to apply the ink, and a generating unit configured to generate first multi-valued reaction liquid data based on the multi-valued ink data and, when a tone value of a pixel of interest in the first multi-valued reaction liquid data is lower than a tone value of any one of a plurality of surrounding pixels around the pixel of interest, generate second multi-valued reaction liquid data by increasing the tone value of the pixel of interest.
Ink jet recording method and ink jet recording apparatus
The method is an ink jet recording method, which uses an ink set being composed of a plurality of aqueous inks and including a combination of a first ink containing a coloring material and a second ink containing no coloring material and by which an image is recorded by applying the first ink and the second ink onto a recording medium so that an area to which the first ink is applied and an area to which the second ink is applied overlap at least in part with each other. The coloring material of the first ink contains fluorescent dye, the second ink contains a first water-soluble organic solvent, and an SP value S.sub.S of the first water-soluble organic solvent and an SP value S.sub.D of the fluorescent dye satisfy a relationship of the following formula (1):
|S.sub.S−S.sub.D|≤4.0 (1).
AUTOMATED ENHANCEMENT OF PRINTED DOCUMENTS
An MFD is disclosed. For example, the MFD includes a printhead to dispense print material, an enhancement printhead to dispense an enhancement printing fluid, a processor and a non-transitory computer-readable medium storing a plurality of instructions. The instructions when executed by the processor cause the processor to perform operations that include determining that an automated enhancement feature was selected, analyzing each pixel of an image to be printed to determine one or more pixels that are to receive the enhancement printing fluid, controlling the printhead to print the image, and controlling the enhancement printhead to dispense the enhancement printing fluid on the one or more pixels that are to receive the enhancement printing fluid.
INK FLUID SET FOR PRINTING ON TEXTILE
The present disclosure provides an ink fluid set containing an aqueous pre-treatment composition, a clear ink, and colored aqueous inkjet inks. This ink fluid set is particularly suitable for printing on polyester, cotton, and blends of cotton and synthetic textiles.
Liquid discharging device
A liquid discharging device is provided that includes: a first head (11) containing a pretreatment liquid, configured to discharge the pretreatment liquid onto a recording medium; a second head (12) disposed downstream of the first head (11) in a conveyance direction of the recording medium, configured to discharge an ink; an exhaust unit (14) disposed upstream of the first head (11) in the conveyance direction, configured to evacuate a gas present between the first head (11) and the recording medium from a downstream side to an upstream side in the conveyance direction; and a housing (30) internally containing the first head (11) and the second head (12), internally or externally containing the exhaust unit (14), and having an opening (32) downstream of the exhaust unit (14) in the conveyance direction.
Recording method and recording apparatus
A recording method for using a line-type recording apparatus to scan a recording medium with a plurality of line heads once for recording, the line heads having a width greater than or equal to the recording width of the recording medium, the method including a treatment liquid deposition step of depositing a treatment liquid containing a coagulant on the recording medium, and an ink deposition step of ejecting a coloring ink composition from the line heads to deposit the coloring ink composition on the recording medium, wherein in the ink deposition step an identical coloring ink composition is ejected from a first line head placed on the upstream side in the transport direction perpendicular to the width direction of the recording medium and from a second line head placed on the downstream side in the transport direction.
Pretreatment liquid for inkjet recording, inkjet recording apparatus, and image forming method
A pretreatment liquid for inkjet recording contains a photobase generator that produces an organic amine compound through light exposure. An inkjet recording apparatus forms an image on an image formation area of a recording medium. The inkjet recording apparatus includes a pretreatment section, a light exposure section, and a recording head. The pretreatment section ejects the pretreatment liquid for inkjet recording toward the image formation area of the recording medium. The light exposure section performs light exposure on the image formation area of the recording medium to which the pretreatment liquid for inkjet recording has been ejected. The recording head ejects an ink toward the image formation area of the recording medium subjected to the light exposure to form the image.
Liquid jetting apparatus and jetting control method
A liquid jetting apparatus includes a recording head unit including nozzles; a moving mechanism configured to alternately perform a scanning operation of moving the recording head unit in a scanning direction while causing the recording head unit to discharge a liquid and a sub-scanning movement operation of moving the recording head unit or the recording medium in a sub-scanning direction without causing the recording head unit to discharge the liquid; a gradation setting unit configured to set gradation on portions of image data corresponding to setting regions at ends of the recording head unit; an irregular pattern setting unit configured to set an irregular pattern on the image data to randomize a dot ratio indicating the number of dots per unit area; and a head discharge drive unit configured to cause the nozzles to discharge the liquid based on the image data.
System and Method for Decorating Suitcases and Luggage Items
A system for stamping suitcases and luggage items, by in-line digital printing and drying, in a single pass, including: a printing module configured to print an image on one side of the suitcase with at least one printing head and one drying lamp; movement means for moving the items to be printed, with an individual conveyor belt, synchronised with the injector and the drying lamp, and movement means formed by a plurality of individual conveyors synchronised to operate according to the presence or absence of suitcases on adjacent conveyors, preventing them from impacting each other; and a traceability-tracking system configured to determine the position of each suitcase, by means of a unique two-dimensional identification code associated with each item, or by means of supervision of an operator. It also includes trays for coupling those suitcases that have an uneven shape, controlling the movement thereof and the correct alignment of the side to be printed.
