A decorative sheet includes a design layer, a primer layer and a surface protective layer formed by cross-linking and curing an ionizing radiation curable resin composition in this order on a base material. A surface of the surface protective layer is smooth. A ten point average roughness RzJIS on a rear face of the decorative sheet and a thickness T of the base material satisfies the following equation (I); and an arithmetic average roughness Ra on the rear face and a thickness T of the base material satisfies the following equation (II):

T×0.20≥Ra≥T×0.005 (II)
Or an arithmetic average roughness Ra on a rear face of the decorative sheet is 1.0 to 10.0 μm. A decorated resin molded article is produced by integrating the decorative sheet with an outer surface of a resin molded article at the same time as injection molding.

An image forming apparatus includes: a first image forming unit that forms a clear toner image with a clear toner; a second image forming unit that forms a color toner image with a color toner; a transfer unit that transfers at least one of the clear toner image and the color toner image onto a medium; and a controller that controls formation of the clear toner image and the color toner image. When the medium is a heat transfer medium and the color toner image is formed on the heat transfer medium, the controller performs control so that the clear toner image is formed on a region where the color toner image is formed and a weight per unit area of the color toner is less than 0.29 mg/cm.sup.2, and a weight per unit area of the clear toner image is 0.15 to 0.55 mg/cm.sup.2.

Thermal transfer sheet
The present invention provides a thermal transfer sheet including at least a transfer layer and a substrate. The transfer layer includes at least a protective layer adapted to be peelable from the substrate, and the transfer layer has a peel force in a non-heated state of 1 N/m or more and a peel force in a heated state of 10 N/m or less. The thermal transfer sheet exhibits a high level of adhesion therebetween, even when used in a compact printer that causes the thermal transfer sheet to be heated by the heat of a thermal head. The transfer layer exhibits a high level of releasability when being transferred.

The device is characterized in that the device comprises first recesses for receiving rods of a first width side that are positioned at opposite longitudinal ends of the clamping sheet and comprises second recesses for receiving rods of a second width side that are positioned at opposite longitudinal ends of the clamping sheet, and the device comprises a support member for carrying the device and the substrate.

Embodiments include a cap or hat decoration method by providing a press including a lower platen and upper platen, and coupling a pad to the lower platen, where the pad is dimensioned based on one or more dimensions of the cap or hat, and positioning the cap or hat onto at least a portion of the pad. Further, the method includes positioning at least one decoration onto at least a portion of the cap or hat, where the at least one decoration includes a heat-activated adhesive, and heating and compressing the decoration onto the cap or hat by compressing the cap or hat and decoration between the lower platen and upper platen.

A thermal transfer sheet according to the present disclosure includes a first substrate and a transfer layer including at least a peeling layer, the peeling layer containing a resin material and antimicrobial particles, the antimicrobial particles having an average particle size in the range of 1 to 8 ?m, and the peeling layer having a content of the antimicrobial particles in the range of 2.8 to 8 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the resin material.

There is described a method of increasing the output of a transfer film (1) upon embossing, in particular hot embossing, wherein the transfer film (1) has a carrier film (1a) and a transfer layer portion (1b) which is releasable from the carrier film (1a). During a first embossing operation first regions (10) of the transfer layer portion (1b) which are arranged removed from each other at a spacing a are transferred by means of a first embossing tool from the transfer film (1) onto at least one substrate (2), wherein first openings (10a) are produced at the spacing a in the transfer layer portion (1b) of the transfer film (1). After the first embossing operation the transfer film (1) is wound up after the first embossing operation and fed to at least a further embossing operation.
