Tire for two-wheeled vehicle comprising a hybrid hooping reinforcement
A tire (10) for two-wheeled vehicles comprises a crown (12) comprising: a tread (20), and a hoop reinforcement (17) comprising at least one hooping ply (19) comprising one or more hoop reinforcing elements (44) comprising an assembly made up of a multifilament strand of aromatic polyamide or aromatic copolyamide (47) and of a multifilament strand of aliphatic polyamide (48). The twist factor K of the hoop reinforcing element (44) ranges from 5.5 to 6.5. The tire (10) is obtained by a method comprising a step of manufacturing the hooping ply (19), in which the bonded reinforcing elements (44) are embedded in a polymer composition in order to form the uncured hooping ply, the equivalent initial tensile modulus of the uncured hooping ply ranging from 330 to 620 cN/tex/dm.
HIGH PERFORMANCE AGRICULTURAL TIRE
An agricultural tire includes a toroidal tire structure containing vulcanized rubber in an amount of about 90 percent or more by weight. The tire structure may have one or more performance enhancing features, including high strength plies. The high strength plies contain cords that are formed of yarns, including polyamide yarns, and have individual cord tensile strengths within a range of about 400 N to about 700 N. The performance enhancing features further include circumferential belt plies having cords at angles of about 74 degrees or more from an axial direction.
Bielastic aramid tire cord as cap ply
A dipped and heat-set aramid cord, comprising a plurality of cord plies having a spacing between the plurality of cord plies, wherein a TASE at 2.0% elongation of the aramid cord is less than 2.0 cN/dtex; wherein the spacing between the plurality of cord plies is more than 10% and less than 80% of a cord diameter (D) of the cord plies.
Reinforcing layer for objects made of an elastomeric material, preferably for pneumatic vehicle tyres and pneumatic vehicle tyres
The invention relates to a rubberized reinforcing ply for articles composed of elastomeric material, preferably for vehicle tires, wherein the reinforcing ply has a multiplicity of strengthening elements which are in parallel and spaced apart, wherein each strengthening element is a cord which is end-twisted from at least two twisted multifilament yarns composed of polyamide 6.6. The raw yarn composed of polyamide 6.6 has a tenacity which, at an elongation of 4%, is within a range from 1.35 cN/dtex to 1.60 cN/dtex, the cord has a tenacity which, at an elongation of 4%, is within a range from 1.2 cN/dtex to 2 cN/dtex and the cord has a thermal shrinkage at 177 within a range of 4.0%-7.0%, wherein the tenacity in accordance with ASTM D885-16 and the thermal shrinkage at 177 C. are determined under a pre-tension of 0.045 g/dtex with an exposure time of two minutes.
TIRE
A tire that includes a band and a belt, the band is layered outward of the belt in a radial direction of the tire, the belt includes two or more layers layered in the radial direction of the tire, the band includes a rubber composition and a polyester cord, each of the two or more layers of the belt includes a rubber composition and a cord, and a gauge between the cords of two adjacent layers is not greater than 0.40 mm.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A cord of a band of a tire has a single-stranded structure in which steel filaments are stranded, and the number of the filaments is not less than three and not greater than six. In a cross-section of the cord, when represents a diameter of a smallest circle that surrounds cross-sections of the filaments, and represents a diameter of each filament, a gap is formed between the filaments such that the diameter is not less than three times the diameter and not greater than six times the diameter in the case of the number of the filaments being three or four. An initial elongation of the cord is not less than 0.1% and not greater than 1.5%.
TYRE FOR VEHICLE WHEELS
A tyre for vehicle wheels comprises at least one structural component including a plurality of textile reinforcing cords (10), at least some of which comprise at least two yarns (20a, 20b) twisted together. At least one of said yarns (20a, 20b) is a texturized yarn (210) comprising a plurality of first filaments (201a) made of a recycled plastic material mixed with a plurality of second filaments (202a) made of a non-recycled plastic material.
POLYESTER CAP PLY
The present invention relates to a novel tire cord fabric or strip made of alternating parallel polyester (PET) cords having different twists. Such novel tire cord fabric or strips improve high speed durability, tread separation resistance and impact resistance when used as zero degree spirally wound cap ply in pneumatic radial tires.
Bielastic carbon fiber cord as cap ply
A dipped and heat-set carbon fiber cord, including a plurality of cord plies having a spacing between the plurality of cord plies. A TASE at 2.0% elongation of the carbon fiber cord is less than 2.0cN/dtex. The spacing between the plurality of cord plies is longer than 15% and shorter than 80% of a cord diameter of the plurality of cord plies.
Bielastic polyester tire cord as cap ply
The present invention relates to a novel polyester tire cord reinforcement which has bi-elastic tensile properties. The tire cord includes at least two cord plies, and there is a spacing between the cord plies. Such a novel bi-elastic polyester tire cord improves high speed durability and significantly eliminates flatspotting when used as a cap ply in pneumatic radial tires.
