The first middle lateral grooves and the second middle lateral grooves are inclined in a first direction with respect to the tyre axial direction, and the first shoulder lateral grooves and the second shoulder lateral grooves are inclined in a second direction opposite to the first direction with respect to the tyre axial direction.
TYRE
A tyre comprising a tread portion comprising first and second tread edges, a crown groove extending continuously in a tyre circumferential direction in a crown portion of the tyre, a first land portion between the first tread edge and the crown groove, and a second land portion extending from the crown groove towards the second tread edge. The first land portion is provided with first lateral grooves connected to the crown groove and extending from the crown groove in the direction to the first tread edge, and the second land portion is provided with second lateral grooves connected to the crown groove and extending from the crown groove in the direction to the second tread edge. The first land portion is divided into first blocks by the crown groove and the first lateral grooves, and the second land portion is divided into second blocks by the crown groove and the second lateral grooves.
Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire includes: main grooves in a tread, extending in a circumferential direction in alignment in a lateral direction, defining a center land on an equatorial plane and middle lands on outer sides in the lateral direction; a sipe formed in the center land communicating with a center main groove and terminating within the center land, the sipe bending halfway through its length; a circumferential narrow groove in each of the middle lands dividing the middle lands into a rib-shaped middle inner land and a middle outer land; and lug grooves formed in the middle outer land in alignment in the circumferential direction, communicating with a shoulder main groove and the circumferential narrow groove and dividing the middle outer land into blocks. A width d1 of the middle inner land and a groove width d2 of the circumferential narrow groove satisfy a relationship of 0.1≤d2/d1≤0.4.
Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire includes: a center lug groove extending in a lateral direction in a center land portion, the center lug groove connecting to two main groves at both ends; an outer middle lug groove extending in the lateral direction in an outer middle land portion, the outer middle lug groove connecting to two main groves at both ends; and an inner middle lug groove extending in the lateral direction in an inner middle land portion, the inner middle lug groove including an end connecting to the main groove of the two main grooves located inward in the lateral direction and the other end terminating within the inner middle land portion; and the center lug groove and the outer middle lug groove each including a central region in a length direction including a sipe portion, the sipe portion including a sipe with a chamfered opening portion.
Tire
Provided is a tire in which a tread half portion has a circumferential groove and land portions, an outline of a tread surface of the tread half portion includes circular arcs, the circular arc having a minimum radius of curvature is present within the outline of the land portion adjacent to a tread edge, the tread half portion has a base rubber layer, and a cap rubber layer, the base rubber layer has a lower storage modulus than the cap rubber layer, and an end of the layer in a tire width direction on a tread edge side is located in a region extending as much as 0.06 times a ground contact width of the tread half portion on each of both tire widthwise sides of a center of a tire widthwise length of an outline portion occupied by the circular arc having the minimum radius of curvature.
Tire with shallow groove-based tread wear indicator
A tire including a tread wear indicator is provided. The tire includes a pair of sidewalls, in which each sidewall extends from a respective bead area to a tread. The tread includes a plurality of main circumferential grooves, in which the main circumferential grooves are disposed in and proximate an axial center area of the tread. At least one shallow groove is formed in the tread, and each shallow groove includes a depth relative to the surface of the tread that is less than a depth of each of the main circumferential grooves. A primary tread wear indicator is disposed in at least one of the main circumferential grooves, and a secondary tread wear indicator is disposed in the shallow groove.
Tread for a pneumatic tire
A tread for a tire includes: a first tread zone extending circumferentially, continuously, and entirely around the tire, the first tread zone being formed of a first compound; a second tread zone extending circumferentially, continuously, and entirely around the tire, the second tread zone being formed of a second compound different from the first compound; and a boundary groove axially separating the first tread zone from the second tread zone, the first tread zone, the second tread zone, and the boundary groove entirely forming the tread, the boundary groove having an axial centerline disposed an axial distance from an equatorial plane of the tire. The first tread zone has a first circumferential groove and a sidewall portion defining an intermediate circumferential rib of the first tread zone and a shoulder circumferential rib of the first tread zone.
