An outer surface S of the tire 12 includes a tread surface ST, a pair of shoulder surfaces SH connected to the tread surface ST, and a pair of side surfaces SW connected to the shoulder surfaces SH. Each shoulder surface SH includes an outer surface formed by the edge portion 46, and a contour of each shoulder surface SH is represented by a circular arc having a center at an inner side.
Heavy load tire
A heavy load tire includes: a plurality of circumferential grooves extending along a tire circumferential direction; a plurality of lateral grooves extending along a tire width direction and formed in a direction crossing the circumferential grooves; and a plurality of blocks partitioned by the circumferential grooves and the lateral grooves. On a whole surface of one end portion in the tire circumferential direction of a center block formed in a center area among the plurality of blocks, an inclined portion inclined inward in a tire radial direction toward the end portion is formed.
Tire tread and a tire comprising a tread
The subject invention reveals a tire tread having a circumferential tread cap with circumferential grooves, wherein the tread cap rubber compound has a Shore A hardness from 45 to 75. Moreover, the tread comprises at least one circumferential groove reinforcement reinforcing at least a bottom portion of at least one of the grooves and comprising a groove reinforcement rubber compound, wherein the groove reinforcement rubber compound has a Shore A hardness from 70 to 100. The tread also comprises a circumferential tread base layer arranged radially inwards of the tread cap and comprising a tread base layer compound, wherein the tread base layer compound has a Shore A hardness from 15 to 60, and wherein the Shore A hardness of the tread cap compound is higher than the Shore A hardness of the tread base layer compound.
Pneumatic Tire
A tread pattern of a pneumatic tire includes one center continuous land portion and two intermediate continuous land portions that are divided by four circumferential main grooves and that are not provided with lug grooves. Edges on both sides of one center main groove include groove chamfered portions having a chamfered width changing in the circumferential direction in a zigzag shape. In the regions of the intermediate continuous land portions, first sipes extending inward in the lateral direction from shoulder main grooves of the main grooves, which are positioned on outer sides in the lateral direction, are provided. The first sipes each include a sipe main body portion having a constant distance between sipe wall surfaces on a sipe bottom side and a sipe chamfered portion inclined so that the sipe wall surfaces are open toward the tread surface.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire includes a pair of circumferential main grooves extending in a tire circumferential direction, and a pair of shoulder land portions and a single center land portion defined and formed by the circumferential main grooves. In addition, the center land portion includes a plurality of center narrow shallow grooves extending through the center land portion in a tire width direction. A groove depth H21 of the center narrow shallow groove is in a range 0.025≤H21/Hg≤0.150 with respect to a maximum groove depth Hg of the circumferential main groove.
Pneumatic tyre, tyre mold and method for manufacturing pneumatic tyre using the same
A pneumatic tyre includes a tread portion being provided with a land portion divided by a main groove extending continuously in a tyre circumferential direction. The land portion is provided with two or more sipes having a width less than 1.5 mm on a ground contacting surface of the land portion and two or more groove elements having a width equal to or more than 1.5 mm on the ground contacting surface. Lengths in a tyre axial direction of the groove elements are equal to or less than 15% of a maximum width in the tyre axial direction of the ground contacting surface of the land portion, and at least one of the sipes is in communication with one of the groove elements.
Tire
A tire comprises a tread portion comprising three main grooves and four land portions. The main grooves are a first shoulder main groove, a second shoulder main groove and a crown main groove. The land portions include a first middle land portion between the first shoulder main groove and the crown main groove, a second middle land portion between the second shoulder main groove and the crown main groove. The first middle land portion is disposed so that the tire equator is positioned in the ground contact surface thereof. Each of the first middle land portion and the second middle land portion is provided with a plurality of narrow grooves so as to exhibit excellent steering stability and ride comfort.
TIRE TREAD INCLUDING SERRATIONS IN RECESSED POCKETS OF GROOVE SIDEWALL
A tire includes first and second laterally spaced sides and a tread interposed between the first and second sides. The tread includes a tread surface having at least one groove therein, the at least one groove including facing, first and second sidewalls separated by a groove bottom surface. A first pocket region of recessed serrations extends over at least a portion of the first sidewall and a second pocket region of recessed serrations extends over at least a portion of the second sidewall. The serrations of the first and second pocket regions are staggered in a circumferential direction relative to one another.
Pneumatic Tire
A pneumatic tire includes: a center main groove extending in a tire circumferential direction; a center land portion defined by the center main groove; a second land portion adjacent to the center land portion across the center main groove; and a second lug groove extending from the center main groove toward the second land portion in a tire lateral direction and defining the second land portion together with the center main groove; the center main groove including a center side edge portion corresponding to an edge portion on the center land portion side, the center side edge portion including a bent portion formed bent in a direction outwards in a groove width direction of the center main groove with an acute bend angle; and the second lug groove including an opening portion to the center main groove connected to the center main groove at a position opposing the bent portion.
