PNEUMATIC TIRE
In a pneumatic tire, a first shoulder block comprises at least one first shoulder circumferential groove which extends in a tire circumferential direction, the at least one first shoulder circumferential groove is respectively separated from a pair of first shoulder slits, a center block comprises at least one center circumferential groove which extends in the tire circumferential direction, and the at least one center circumferential groove is respectively contiguous with a pair of center slits.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
In a pneumatic tire, a plurality of main grooves include at least one straight main groove for which end edges at a tread surface are respectively parallel to a tire circumferential direction, and at least one zigzag main groove for which end edges at the tread surface are respectively inclined with respect to the tire circumferential direction, the end edges at the tread surface of the at least one zigzag main groove include an inner end edge which is arranged toward an interior in a tire axial direction, and an outer end edge which is arranged toward an exterior in the tire axial direction, and an outwardmost location in the tire axial direction of the inner end edge is arranged toward the interior in the tire axial direction from an inwardmost location in the tire axial direction of the outer end edge.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire includes side blocks in each of side regions adjacent to, on an outer side in a width direction, outermost side end portions of a tread portion in the width direction. For the number N1 and total area SS1 of the side blocks in a first side region located on a first side in the width direction, the number N2 and total area SS2 of the side blocks in a second side region located on a second side in the width direction, a land portion area TS1 in a first tread region of the tread portion on a side of the first side region, and a land portion area TS2 in a second tread region of the tread portion on a side of the second side region, relationships N1>N2, TS1>TS2, and 0.95≤(SS1×TS1)/(SS2×TS2)≤1.05 are satisfied.
Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire includes: a first and second main grooves extending in a tire circumferential direction; first and second inclined grooves extending obliquely toward the same side with respect to the tire circumferential direction and connected to the first and second main grooves; and a block defined by the first and second main grooves and the first and second inclined grooves. The block includes a sub groove having a first portion and a second portion, the first portion being open to an intermediate portion of the first inclined groove and extending in the tire circumferential direction, the second portion being inclined to a side opposite to the first inclined groove, extending from a terminal end of the first portion in a direction away from the first inclined groove, and being open to the first main groove.
TIRE
A tire has a tread portion bound with an intended tire rotational direction. The tread portion includes a first tread edge and a second tread edge. The tread portion is provided with first oblique grooves extending obliquely toward a heel side in the tire rotational direction from the first tread edge toward a tire equator side, second oblique grooves extending obliquely toward the heel side from the second tread edge toward the tire equator side, and first circumferential grooves each connecting a respective pair of the first oblique grooves adjacent to each other in a tire circumferential direction. The first oblique grooves have the tire equator side end portions intersecting with the second oblique grooves. The second oblique grooves have the tire equator side end portions intersecting with the first oblique grooves. The first circumferential grooves have groove widths each increasing toward the heel side in the tire rotational direction.
Tire
A tire has a tread portion comprising: a crown land zone provided with a crown auxiliary groove and crown lateral grooves; and a shoulder land zone provided with a shoulder auxiliary groove and shoulder lateral grooves. The axial width of the shoulder land zone is larger than the axial width of the crown land zone. The groove widths of the crown auxiliary groove and the shoulder auxiliary groove are smaller than that of a shoulder main groove. The lateral crown groove comprises a radially outer wide portion and a radially inner narrow sipe-like portion.
LOW-NOISE TIRE
The tire (10) for a passenger vehicle has an axially central portion and axially lateral portions. The axially central portion and each axially lateral portion satisfies just one of conditions I, II, III: I—the portion comprises no transverse cut (90, 90′), II—the portion comprises N transverse cuts (90, 90′) arranged in such a way that π×OD/N≥40 mm, III—the portion comprises N transverse cuts (90, 90′) arranged in such a way that π×OD/N≤24 mm, condition I or II being satisfied by the axially central portion or by an axially lateral portion, and condition III being satisfied by the axially central portion or by an axially lateral portion.
Pneumatic tire
In a pneumatic tire which is formed with plural shallow grooves 40 and plural recesses 32 in a tread and in which the plural shallow grooves 40 extend in parallel, the plural shallow grooves 40 form a saw teeth shape as a cross-sectional shape of the tread in a direction orthogonal to an extending direction of the shallow grooves 40, portions corresponding to apexes of the saw teeth shape are formed as edges 44, and the recess 32 is formed between the two edges 44.
Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire includes a tread surface, a plurality of circumferential main grooves formed on the tread surface and extending in a tire circumference direction, a plurality of lug grooves formed on the tread surface and extending in a tire lateral direction, a plurality of blocks defined by the lug grooves on both sides in the tire circumferential direction and by the circumferential main grooves on at least one end in the tire lateral direction, and narrow grooves formed in the blocks. The narrow grooves include a plurality of bent portions as well as a circumferential narrow groove extending in the tire circumference direction and a lateral narrow groove extending in the tire lateral direction. The lateral narrow groove and the circumferential narrow groove are configured so that at least one thereof is provided in a plurality and includes a plurality of intersection points where the one intersects the other.
Heavy-duty pneumatic tire
A tread pattern of a heavy duty pneumatic tire includes: a linear shaped center lug groove; a pair of circumferential main grooves formed in a wave shape in a tire circumferential direction; a center block; and a central narrow groove that does not have a linear shape, having an opening end that opens in the adjacent center lug grooves in a tire lateral direction position excluding on a tire equator line, and having a groove width that is narrower than the groove width of the shoulder lug groove.
