Car tyre
A car tyre having a tread that extends in axial direction for a width the tread including a central portion arranged across an equatorial plane, and two lateral portions opposed with respect to the central portion. The central portion is separated from the lateral portions of the tread by two circumferential grooves. The circumferential grooves have a width greater than about 6 mm. The central portion extends in axial direction for a width less than 20% of the width of the tread and includes a plurality of first sipes. Each lateral portion has a width greater than 30% of the width of the tread, and each lateral portion includes, furthermore, a plurality of transversal grooves. The transversal grooves of a lateral portion include at least a first inclined length that extends from a zone proximal to the respective circumferential grooves, moving away from the equatorial plane. The first inclined length has an inclination α≤60° with respect to equatorial plane. Each lateral portion includes a plurality of sipes. The density of the sipes decreases moving away from the equatorial plane.
Tire
A tire includes a tread portion with a designated install direction to a vehicle to have an inboard tread edge and an outboard tread edge. The tread portion is provided with a circumferentially extending inboard shoulder main groove to form an inboard shoulder land portion and a circumferentially extending outboard shoulder main groove with a width smaller than a width of the inboard shoulder main groove to form an outboard shoulder land portion. The inboard shoulder land portion is provided with inboard shoulder lug grooves extending inwardly in a tire axial direction from at least the inboard tread edge and terminated within the inboard shoulder land portion. The outboard shoulder land portion is provided with outboard shoulder lug grooves extending inwardly in the tire axial direction from at least the outboard tread edge to the outboard shoulder main groove.
TIRE
Provided in a tread portion of a tire are main grooves, lug grooves intersecting the main grooves, and land portions defined by the main grooves. A specific one of the land portions includes, in a ground contact surface, sipes and narrow grooves intersecting the main grooves, the narrow grooves having a depth of 1.50 mm or less. When extending from one side toward another side in the width direction, the sipes and the narrow grooves have different directions extending in the circumferential direction in the central region and have the same direction extending in the circumferential direction in both edge regions on an outer side from the central region in the width direction. The specific one of the land portions includes at least one land portion on the outer side in the width direction.
TIRE
A tread portion includes a land portion provided with lateral groove-shaped elements arranged in a first array. Each lateral groove-shaped element extends from a first end to a second end. In the first array, the second end of one of the lateral groove-shaped elements is located at the circumferential same position as the first end of another of the lateral groove-shaped elements. Each lateral groove-shaped elements includes a first portion on the first end side, a second portion on the second end side, and a third portion therebetween. The first, second, and third portions are inclined in the same direction. An angle θ3 of the third portion to the tire circumferential direction is smaller than angles θ1 and 02 of the first and second portions, and a length of the third portion is greater than a sum of lengths of the first and second portions.
TIRE
A tread portion includes land portions divided by circumferential grooves. The land portions are provided with a set of lateral groove-shaped elements inclined with respect to tire axial and circumferential directions. Each lateral groove-shaped elements includes a circumferential first and second ends. The set of lateral groove-shaped elements is arranged in a first array over an entire circumference of the tire. The first array is such that in each of all pairs of two lateral groove-shaped elements adjacent to each other in the tire circumferential direction of the lateral groove-shaped elements, the first end of one of the two lateral groove-shaped elements is located at a circumferential same position as the second end of the other one of the two lateral groove-shaped elements. Two lateral groove-shaped elements included in at least one pair of the all pairs are formed on different land portions from one another.
Tire
A tire 1 includes a pair of crown circumferential grooves 30, a pair of shoulder circumferential grooves 31, a crown land portion 40, and a pair of middle land portions 41 and 42, the crown land portion 40 includes a main crown shallow groove 100 and at least two sub-crown shallow grooves 101 and 102 each extending so as to communicate with the crown circumferential groove 30 and the main crown shallow groove 100, the pair of middle land portions 41 and 42 include V-shaped slots 201 and 202, respectively, and the sub-crown shallow grooves 101 and 102 and the slots 201 and 202 are located so as to be substantially point-symmetrical about a midpoint between positions at which the adjacent sub-crown shallow grooves 101 and 102 communicate with the main crown shallow groove 100.
Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire includes: a first longitudinal groove and a second longitudinal groove extending in a tire circumferential direction; a first lateral groove extending obliquely with respect to a tire width direction and connected to the first longitudinal groove and the second longitudinal groove; a second lateral groove extending obliquely toward a side opposite to the first lateral groove with respect to a tire width direction and connected to the first longitudinal groove and the second longitudinal groove; and a trapezoidal block defined by the first longitudinal groove, the second longitudinal groove, the first lateral groove, and the second lateral groove. The block includes a first sipe and a second sipe extending obliquely toward opposite sides in the tire width direction.
Tire
A tire includes a pair of shoulder land regions each provided with a plurality of wavy sipes and first shoulder lateral grooves each having a groove width of 2 mm or less and larger than a width of each of the wavy sipes. The tire further includes a pair of middle land regions and a crown land region each provided with a plurality of non-wavy sipes.
Tire
A tire includes a narrow shallow grooved region on a land portion defined by a circumferential main groove. The narrow shallow grooved region includes a plurality of narrow shallow grooves that are not open to the circumferential main groove. A ratio of a total area of the narrow shallow grooved region to a ground contact area of the land portion is not less than 0.05 and not greater than 0.60.
Tire
A tire comprises a tread portion provided with at least one main groove extending continuously in the tire circumferential direction to axially divide the tread portion into land portions. The land portion is provided with axial grooves extending thereacross in the tire axial direction, and each comprising a radially outer portion and a radially inner portion which is wider than the radially outer portion.
