Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire comprises a tread surface of a tread portion comprising land portions defined by three circumferential grooves extending in the tire circumferential direction and main lug grooves forming intra-land portions divided in the tire circumferential direction; the intra-land portions being divided by the laterally outer circumferential grooves, the main lug grooves, and circumferential narrow grooves to form long small land portions, which are long in the tire circumferential direction); and the intra-land portions being divided by the laterally central circumferential groove, the main lug grooves, subsidiary lug grooves, and the circumferential narrow grooves to form two short small land portions, which are short in the tire circumferential direction.
Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire comprises a tread surface comprising main grooves extending in a tire circumferential direction, at least two of the main grooves adjacent in the tire circumferential direction having a wave shape with periodic oscillation; adjacent land portions in a tire lateral direction formed by the main grooves; lug grooves disposed in a row in the tire circumferential direction in the land portion formed between the wave-shaped main grooves, the lug grooves intersecting the tire circumferential direction and communicating with the wave-shaped main grooves at both ends; and narrow grooves disposed between pairs of the lug grooves adjacent in the tire circumferential direction in a row in the tire circumferential direction, the narrow grooves intersecting the tire circumferential direction, communicating with one of the main grooves at a first end, terminating within the land portion at a second end, and having a narrower groove width than the lug grooves.
Pneumatic Tire
A pneumatic tire includes lug grooves having alternating first and second groove portions. The first groove portion intersects an equator, extends in a width direction, and communicates with an adjacent second groove portion. The second groove portion inclines from the first groove portion at a smaller angle relative to a circumferential direction smaller than that of the first groove portion and extends to a tread edge on one side. The first groove portion is on a stepping side with respect to an end on the tread edge side. The second groove portions curve or bend and have an average angle in an inner region smaller than that of the second groove portions in an outer region. A maximum length in the width direction of center blocks defined by narrow grooves connecting adjacent second groove portions and the lug grooves is 25%-35% of a development width.
Pneumatic Tire
A tread pattern of a pneumatic tire includes circumferential main grooves, lug grooves and first and second sipes connecting the circumferential main grooves, a block land portion defined by the circumferential main grooves and the lug grooves and including the sipes. The lug grooves and the first and second sipes have a shape that projects toward one direction in the circumferential direction. A shallow depth groove raised bottom is provided in a turning portion where the lug groove includes a projecting apex. The projecting apex of a sipe turning portion including the projecting apex of the first sipe is within the range of the shallow depth groove raised bottom, and is inward in the lateral direction compared with the position of the projecting apex of a sipe turning portion including the projecting apex of the second sipe.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
In a pneumatic tire, at least one annular groove comprises a plurality of groove segments that cause the at least one annular groove to be of polygonal and annular shape, the plurality of groove segments includes at least one shortest groove segment for which length is smallest among the plurality of groove segments, and at least one longest groove segment for which length is largest among the plurality of groove segments, and the length of the shortest groove segment is not less than 40% of the length of the longest groove segment.
TIRE
A tire has a tread portion comprising: a crown land zone provided with a crown auxiliary groove and crown lateral grooves; and a shoulder land zone provided with a shoulder auxiliary groove and shoulder lateral grooves. The axial width of the shoulder land zone is larger than the axial width of the crown land zone. The groove widths of the crown auxiliary groove and the shoulder auxiliary groove are smaller than that of a shoulder main groove. The lateral crown groove comprises a radially outer wide portion and a radially inner narrow sipe-like portion.
Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire comprises a tread portion with a tread surface; four main grooves in the tread surface of the tread portion, extending in a tire circumferential direction; and a center land portion, middle land portions adjacent to the center land portion on either side in a tire lateral direction, and shoulder land portions outwardly adjacent to the middle land portions in the tire lateral direction formed by the main grooves. The main grooves have a wave-like shape with a constant groove width in the tire circumferential direction and with periodic oscillation.
Pneumatic Tire
A tread pattern of a pneumatic tire includes circumferential main grooves, a land portion defined by the circumferential main grooves in the lateral direction, and sipes at intervals in a circumferential direction, the sipes connecting the circumferential main grooves with each other. Each of the sipes has a peak-like shape protruding to a first side in the circumferential direction. When, in a profile cross-section of the tread portion taken along the lateral direction, an arc passing through two land portion edge points at which a tread surface of the land portion is connected with groove wall surfaces of the circumferential main grooves and having a center point positioned on the equator line is set to a standard profile line, a profile line formed by the tread surface of the land portion is a swelling profile line protruding outward of the standard profile line in a radial direction.
Pneumatic Tire
In a pneumatic tire, a groove opening portion of an inner side shoulder main groove and a groove opening portion of an inner side center main groove have edge portions with a straight shape. A groove opening portion of an outer side center main groove has an edge portion chamfered in a zigzag shape. A groove width Wg1 of the inner side shoulder main groove, a groove width Wg2 of the inner side center main groove, and a groove width Wg3 of the outer side center main groove have a relationship Wg1<Wg3 and Wg2<Wg3.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A tire includes side protectors arranged in a sidewall portion. Each of the side protectors is provided with a groove. The groove includes a first inclined groove portion inclined to a first side with respect to the tire radial direction, or a second inclined groove portion inclined to a second side opposite to the first side with respect to the tire radial direction. The side protectors include first protectors each provided with the first inclined groove portion, and second protectors each provided with the second inclined groove portion.
