PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire includes: a first and second main grooves extending in a tire circumferential direction; first and second inclined grooves extending obliquely toward the same side with respect to the tire circumferential direction and connected to the first and second main grooves; and a block defined by the first and second main grooves and the first and second inclined grooves. The block includes a sub groove having a first portion and a second portion, the first portion being open to an intermediate portion of the first inclined groove and extending in the tire circumferential direction, the second portion being inclined to a side opposite to the first inclined groove, extending from a terminal end of the first portion in a direction away from the first inclined groove, and being open to the first main groove.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire includes: a first longitudinal groove and a second longitudinal groove extending in a tire circumferential direction; a first lateral groove extending obliquely with respect to a tire width direction and connected to the first longitudinal groove and the second longitudinal groove; a second lateral groove extending obliquely toward a side opposite to the first lateral groove with respect to a tire width direction and connected to the first longitudinal groove and the second longitudinal groove; and a trapezoidal block defined by the first longitudinal groove, the second longitudinal groove, the first lateral groove, and the second lateral groove. The block includes a first sipe and a second sipe extending obliquely toward opposite sides in the tire width direction.
Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire, includes: an annular-shape tread portion; a sidewall portions; and bead portions. JIS hardness of tread rubber is within a range of 40 to 60 and snow traction index is 180 or higher. A rib positioned between circumferential grooves is demarcated in a center region of the tread portion. Closed grooves are formed in the rib. The closed grooves are inclined with regard to a tire axial direction such that a closed end faces a leading side. A groove wall of the closed groove on the leading side protrudes more outward in the tire axial direction than a groove wall on a trailing side. A difference between angles θ1 and θ2 of the groove walls on the leading and trailing sides of the closed grooves, respectively, with regard to the tire axial direction is within a range of 0°≤θ1-θ2≤5°.
Pneumatic Tire
A pneumatic tire includes at least four circumferential main grooves extending in the tire circumferential direction; and at least five rows of land portions including a center land portion, a pair of second land portions, and a pair of shoulder land portions, which are defined by the circumferential main grooves. Additionally, at least one row of the second land portions is provided with a plurality of lug grooves penetrating through the second land portion in the tire width direction, and a plurality of blocks defined by the plurality of lug grooves. Moreover, the plurality of blocks include one of the circumferential narrow grooves, respectively, which penetrates through the blocks in the tire circumferential direction.

A pneumatic tire includes a plurality of center lug grooves disposed at intervals in a tire circumferential direction that extend crossing a tire equator line and include a first groove turning portion and a second groove turning portion; a plurality of shoulder lug grooves disposed in the intervals between the plurality of center lug grooves in the tire circumferential direction extending outward in the tire width direction, an inner end in the tire width direction being disposed outward of an end of the center lug groove in the tire width direction; a pair of circumferential main grooves to which the ends of the center lug grooves and the inner ends of the plurality of shoulder lug grooves in the tire width direction alternately connect; and a circumferential secondary groove disposed around the entire circumference of the pneumatic tire with a wave-like shape.
Heavy-Duty Pneumatic Tire
A heavy-duty pneumatic tire includes a tread pattern including center lug grooves, shoulder lug grooves, a pair of circumferential primary grooves formed in wave-like shapes by alternately connecting ends of the center lug grooves and ends of the shoulder lug grooves and having a smaller width than the width of the shoulder lug grooves, center blocks defined by the center lug groove and the circumferential primary grooves, and a circumferential secondary groove extending in the tire circumferential direction so as to divide regions of the center blocks. The belt portion includes two or greater pairs of belts. The ratio of the width W8 of a belt having a smaller width in each of the belt pairs to the width W7 of a belt having a greater width is 0.75 or greater and 0.90 or less.
Motorcycle tyre and pair of motorcycle tyres
A motorcycle tyre has a tread band including a central portion and two shoulder portions arranged at axially opposite sides of the central portion. The central portion includes a first plurality of grooves extended according to a substantially longitudinal direction and alternatively arranged at opposite sides of the equatorial plane of the tyre. Each groove of the first plurality of grooves has a substantially curvilinear course such as to form a concavity. The central portion further includes a sub-portion substantially free of grooves placed astride the equatorial plane of the tyre. Each of the shoulder portions includes a second plurality of grooves arranged obliquely relative to the equatorial plane of the tyre.
Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire includes a tread portion provided with a circumferentially extending zigzag shoulder main groove arranged proximate to a tread edge, and a plurality of shoulder lateral grooves each extending axially outwardly from the shoulder main groove. Each of the shoulder lateral grooves includes a first portion and second portion. The first portion includes a first groove wall and an axially inner end connected to the shoulder main groove. The second portion is arranged axially outward of the first portion and includes a second groove wall. The second portion has a groove width and a groove depth greater than those of the first portion. The first groove wall of the first portion and the second groove wall of the second portion are smoothly continued.
Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire includes a tread portion provided with a pair of shoulder main grooves and at least one crown main groove between the shoulder main grooves to define a pair of middle portions between the adjacent shoulder main groove and crown main groove. The middle portions are provided with inner middle lug grooves and outer middle lug grooves. Each outer middle lug groove extends from the shoulder main groove to its axially inner end while decreasing its groove width. The outer middle lug groove are arranged with alternately arranged first pitches and second pitches, wherein the second pitches are larger than the first pitches. Each inner middle lug groove extends from the crown main groove to its axially outer end while decreasing its groove width. The inner middle lug grooves are arranged with substantially the same pitches.
Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire includes a tread portion provided with at least one circumferentially extending main groove, and at least one lateral groove extending from the main groove. The at least one lateral groove comprises a bottom, and at least one stepwise groove wall that includes at least one level part, wherein the number of level part is not more than three. In a cross-sectional view of the lateral groove, a depth Da from a ground contacting surface of the tread portion to a radially innermost level part is in a range of from 50% to 80% a maximum groove depth D4 of the lateral groove, and a width Wa from the radially innermost level part to a groove edge of the stepwise groove wall measured along in a groove width direction is in a range of from 50% to 150% the depth Da.
