MOTORCYCLE TIRE AND FRONT AND REAR MOTORCYCLE TIRES
A bias-ply motorcycle tire comprises a tread portion provided with main grooves and sipes. The main grooves extend from a tread crown region into tread shoulder regions. The sipes are provided only within the tread shoulder regions.
Pneumatic commercial vehicle tire
A pneumatic vehicle tire, in particular a commercial vehicle tire, having a tread with transverse grooves (3, 3′), which are continuous over the tread width and which, at least in sections, are formed to the profile depth and are the main grooves of the tread. Circumferential grooves (4) that run adjacent to one another in pairs and parallel to one another, at an angle (α) with respect to the circumferential direction of 10° to 30° and have a smaller depth than the profile depth divide the tread, with two sections (4a) in each case between three transverse grooves (3, 3′) following one another in the circumferential direction, into profile blocks (1, 2), wherein pairs of circumferential grooves following one another in the circumferential direction are offset with respect to one another in the axial direction, such that the circumferential grooves (4) of the pairs of circumferential grooves begin and end at substantially the same axial positions, wherein each circumferential groove (4) reaches, with a section (4b) running beyond a transverse groove (3), into a middle profile block (2) present between the circumferential grooves (4), and wherein each circumferential groove (4) is formed shallower in at least one section (4a, 4b) than in its other sections or its other section.
Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire includes shoulder lands and a center land, defined by main grooves on both sides of an equator in a zigzag pattern along a circumferential direction, are defined in a tread. Shoulder lug grooves extending in a width direction are formed in each of the shoulder lands. First and second center lug grooves, which extend from the shoulder lug grooves across each of the main grooves and are inclined at an angle of 45°-70° with respect to the width direction, are disposed in the center land. The first center lug groove terminates at the equator, and the second center lug groove terminates without reaching the equator. The first and second center lug grooves are alternately disposed in the circumferential direction. Connecting grooves inclined in an opposite direction to an inclination direction of the center lug grooves to connect the center lug grooves are formed in the center land.
TIRE
The tire has a tread portion for which an intended tire rotational direction is specified. The tread portion comprises first inclined land portions defined between first inclined grooves. The first inclined land portion comprises an outer portion having a first wall surface and a second wall surface, and an inner portion having a third wall surface and a fourth wall surface. The angle θ1 of the first wall surface is smaller than the angle θ2 of the second wall surface, and the angle θ3 of the third wall surface is larger than the angle θ4 of the fourth wall surface.
Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire comprises a carcass layer, a belt layer disposed on the outer side in the tire radial direction of the carcass layer, and tread rubber disposed on the outer side in the tire radial direction of the belt layer. The belt layer is formed by laminating a pair of cross belts having belt angles with an absolute value from 10° to 45° both inclusive and mutually opposite signs, and a circumferential reinforcing layer having a belt angle within a range of ±5° relative to the tire circumferential direction. The distance (Gcc) from the tread profile to the tire inner circumferential surface along the tire equatorial plane and the distance (Gsh) from the tread edge to the tire inner circumferential surface have a relationship satisfying 1.10≤Gsh/Gcc. The groove depth (Dsh) and under-groove gauge (UDsh) of the outermost circumferential main groove have a relationship satisfying 0.20≤UDsh/Dsh.
Pneumatic vehicle tire
A pneumatic vehicle tire having a tread divided by circumferential grooves, which have a profile depth (T), into block rows running in encircling fashion in a circumferential direction and/or profile ribs which are structured in the manner of profile blocks. Block rows are divided by transverse grooves into blocks and, like the profile ribs structured in the manner of profile blocks, are equipped with blind grooves proceeding from the circumferential grooves. Transverse and/or blind grooves are provided which, owing to a connection of blocks adjacent in the circumferential direction and/or of the block-like structures, have a depth smaller than profile depth (T). The connection has at least two connection steps of different heights, the lowest is formed in each case at the region in which the transverse grooves and/or blind grooves open into the circumferential grooves.
Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire tread pattern includes a center main groove extending in a circumferential direction, first and second inclined lug grooves located on respective first and second sides in a lateral direction and extending from the center main groove toward the respective first and second sides in the lateral direction with respect to the circumferential direction, and inner branched lug grooves each branched from a middle of a corresponding one of the first and second inclined lug grooves, inclined identically to an inclination direction of the first and second inclined lug grooves, and connected to the center main groove. The first and second inclined lug grooves include a center portion extending outward from the center main groove in the lateral direction, an outer portion extending inward from a shoulder side in the lateral direction, and a bent portion at which the center and outer portions are bent and connected together.
Tyre
A tyre includes a tread portion being provided with two circumferential grooves extending in a tyre circumferential direction to form a crown land portion therebetween. The crown land portion is provided with two or more crown grooves extending inwardly of the crown land portion from the respective circumferential grooves. Each crown groove includes wide-width regions and narrow-width regions having a groove width smaller than that of the wide-width regions, and the wide-width regions and the narrow-width regions are alternated.
Pneumatic tire
A tire includes side protectors arranged in a sidewall portion. Each of the side protectors is provided with a groove. The groove includes a first inclined groove portion inclined to a first side with respect to the tire radial direction, or a second inclined groove portion inclined to a second side opposite to the first side with respect to the tire radial direction. The side protectors include first protectors each provided with the first inclined groove portion, and second protectors each provided with the second inclined groove portion.
Tire
A tire includes an outboard tread edge and an inboard tread edge to be located on an outboard side and an inboard side of a vehicle, respectively, circumferentially and continuously extending main grooves, and land portions divided by the main grooves. The land portions include an outboard shoulder land portion, an outboard middle land portion, an inboard shoulder land portion, and an inboard middle land portion. Each of the outboard shoulder land portion, the inboard shoulder land portion, and the inboard middle land portion is provided with axially extending lateral grooves. The outboard middle land portion is provided with outboard middle lateral grooves extending from an edge of the outboard middle land portion on the outboard tread edge side toward the inboard tread edge. The outboard middle lateral grooves are inclined with respect to a tire circumferential direction at angles smaller than those of the lateral grooves.
