A pneumatic tire is provided with four or more circumferential main grooves extending in a tire circumferential direction and five or more land portions defined by the circumferential main grooves. Additionally, second land portions are each provided with first through lug grooves and second through lug grooves that extend through the second land portion in a tire lateral direction and are adjacently arranged in the tire circumferential direction. Crossing angles of the first through lug grooves and the second through lug grooves with respect to the outermost circumferential main grooves are mutually different.

A pneumatic tire comprises an inner circumferential groove and an outer circumferential groove in a tread portion and extending in a tire circumferential direction. A land portion between circumferential grooves is defined by the inner and outer circumferential grooves. The pneumatic tire includes first and second auxiliary grooves disposed in the tire circumferential direction that communicate with the inner and outer circumferential grooves, respectively, and terminate within the land portion between circumferential grooves. The first auxiliary grooves and the second auxiliary grooves have a non-intersecting, alternating arrangement. At least one narrow groove is disposed between adjacent first auxiliary grooves. At least two narrow grooves are disposed between adjacent second auxiliary grooves. The at least two narrow grooves between second auxiliary grooves are disposed in a greater number than the number of the at least one narrow groove between first auxiliary grooves.

A pneumatic tire includes a tread portion provided with a pair of shoulder main grooves and at least one crown main groove between the shoulder main grooves to define a pair of middle portions between the adjacent shoulder main groove and crown main groove. The middle portions are provided with inner middle lug grooves and outer middle lug grooves. Each outer middle lug groove extends from the shoulder main groove to its axially inner end while decreasing its groove width. The outer middle lug groove are arranged with alternately arranged first pitches and second pitches, wherein the second pitches are larger than the first pitches. Each inner middle lug groove extends from the crown main groove to its axially outer end while decreasing its groove width. The inner middle lug grooves are arranged with substantially the same pitches.

A tread pattern is provided with: shoulder lug grooves open at ground contact ends; center lug grooves each having opposite ends; circumferential primary grooves each formed in a wavy shape by connecting ends of the center lug grooves and the inner ends of the shoulder lug grooves in the width direction of the tire; and center blocks defined by the center lug grooves and the pair of circumferential primary grooves. The width of the circumferential primary grooves is smaller than the width of the shoulder lug grooves. The center lug grooves are tilted relative to both the circumferential direction and the width direction of the tire and each have a third groove turning portion and a fourth groove turning portion which protrude in the different directions in the circumferential direction of the tire.

A tire includes a tread portion provided with a first main groove disposed between the tire equator and a tread edge and extending continuously in the tire circumferential direction; outward transverse grooves extending axially outwardly from the first main groove; and inward transverse grooves extending axially inwardly from the first main groove. The first main groove is a zigzag groove including axially outer segments extending along the tire circumferential direction; axially inner segments extending along the tire circumferential direction and positioned axially inside the axially outer segments; and oblique segments linking therebetween. Each of the axially outer segments is connected with one of the outward transverse grooves and one of the inward transverse grooves.

Provided is a pneumatic tire. A profile line (PL1) of a center land portion (X) protrudes further outward in the tire radial direction than a standard profile line (PL0). Profile lines (PL2, PL3) of sub-center land portions (Y1, Y2) and shoulder land portions (Z1, Z2) defined outward of center main grooves (14a, 14b) in the tire width direction protrude outward in the tire radial direction further than the standard profile line (PL0). The shoulder land portions (Z1, Z2) are defined further outward than the sub-center land portions (Y1, Y2). Further, the profile lines (PL2, PL3) of the sub-center land portions (Y1, Y2) and the shoulder land portions (Z1, Z2) each include an outermost point (A2, A4) of the corresponding center main groove (14a, 14b) in the tire width direction and both end points (A5, A6, A7, A8) of the corresponding shoulder main groove (14c, 14d) in the tire width direction.

In a tire, plural outer side cutouts, which respectively correspond to block land portions and extend toward tire width direction outer sides and end midway along outer side land portions, are formed so as to be spaced apart in a tire circumferential direction in tire width direction inner-side side walls, which are exposed to central circumferential grooves, of the outer side land portions that are provided further toward tire width direction outer sides than the two central circumferential grooves respectively. Further, at least portions of tire width direction inner side openings of the outer side cutouts are positioned between maximum position A, at which a tire width direction distance of a corresponding block land portion is a maximum, and an intermediate point B of two vertices that are adjacent at a tire width direction outer-side side wall of the block land portion.
