A pneumatic suspension system for a vehicle, in which the pneumatic suspension system includes a supply tank, a first set of air springs positioned on a first side of the vehicle; a second set of air springs positioned on a second side of the vehicle, and a dual-action dynamic valve positioned between the first set of air springs and the second set of air springs. The dual-action dynamic valve is connected to the supply tank, the first set of air springs, and the second set of air springs by a series of air hoses. The dual-action dynamic valve is adapted to supply air to either one of the first set of air springs or the second set of air springs while simultaneously exhausting air from the other one of the first set of air springs or the second set of air springs.

Vehicle-height control system

A vehicle-height control system is configured to control a vehicle height for a wheel. The vehicle-height control system includes: a vehicle-height control actuator provided so as to correspond to the wheel; a pressure-medium supply and discharge device configured to supply and discharge a pressure medium to and from the vehicle-height control actuator; and a vehicle height controller configured to control the vehicle height for the wheel by controlling the pressure-medium supply and discharge device based on an inside temperature and an outside-air temperature to control at least one of supply and discharge of the pressure medium to and from the vehicle-height control actuator. The inside temperature is a temperature in the vehicle-height control system.

Method for operating a pressure-regulating system in a vehicle and pressure-regulating system

A method for operating a pressure control system in a vehicle includes controlling a flow-control valve in a charging line, which conveys a charging pressure medium, in dependence upon an admission pressure and/or upon an admission volume flow. The admission pressure and/or the admission volume flow characterizes a prevailing or currently to be expected loading of a pneumatic consumer of the pressure control system during the supply of the charging pressure medium with a charging volume flow and at a charging pressure into the pneumatic consumer. The method further includes adjusting a flow-control cross-section, which acts on the charging pressure medium as it flows through the flow-control valve, or adjusting an average flow-control cross-section so as to limit the charging volume flow to a limit volume flow. The method additionally includes outputting the volume-flow limited charging pressure medium to the pneumatic consumer.

Dynamic weight shift suspension system

A dynamic weight shift suspension system for shifting the tandem axle loads on a vehicle. The system includes a first airbag connected between the drive axle of a tandem and the vehicle frame, and a second airbag connected between a tag axle of a tandem and the vehicle frame. The system also has a mechatronic control unit comprising at least one port and at least one solenoid. The mechatronic control unit is in direct fluid communication with the airbags and an air supply via fluid communication lines.

A valve control device is configured to execute a specific valve control when a valve switching condition at high pressure is satisfied. The specific valve control switches the spring constant change valves for front wheel to a blocking state and switches a spring constant change valves for rear wheel to a communication permission state. The valve switching condition at high pressure is satisfied when oil pressure of hydraulic oil of rear wheel side oil hydraulic cylinders, which is detected by rear wheel side oil pressure detection means, is more than or equal to a predetermined oil pressure threshold and the traveling state determination means determines that a vehicle is in a predetermined traveling state.

A valve arrangement of a vehicle's air suspension system has a pressure generator with a two-stage compressor drivable by an electric motor, an air dryer, and a switchover valve. A main line is connected to the pressure generator and branches into at least two first axle lines. Two bellows lines per vehicle axle each branch off from one of the first axle lines and lead via a shutoff valve to an air bellows. The pressure generator has a second connection connected to a delivery line of the pressure generator between two compressor stages of the compressor. A second main line is connected to the second connection. The second main line branches into at least two second axle lines downstream of a shutoff valve. These second axle lines are each connected to one of the branching points of the first axle lines at the axles, each via one shutoff valve.

COMPRESSED AIR SUPPLY SYSTEM

A compressed-air feed system for operating a pneumatic system includes a compressed-air supply, a compressed-air connection to the pneumatic system, at least one ventilation connection to surroundings, and a pneumatic main line between the compressed-air supply and the compressed-air connection. The pneumatic main line has an air dryer and a regeneration throttle. The compressed-air feed system further includes a first ventilation line between the pneumatic main line and the at least one ventilation connection. The first ventilation line has a first ventilation valve and a ventilation throttle. The compressed-air feed system additionally includes a second ventilation line between the compressed-air connection and the at least one ventilation connection. The second ventilation line has a second ventilation valve formed as a 2/2 directional valve. The compressed-air feed system is designed to provide an operating mode in which the second ventilation valve is open over a predetermined time period.
