Suspension system

A suspension system having a knuckle carrier. A pivot mechanism may pivotally couple a control arm to the knuckle carrier. The pivot mechanism may include a preload nut that may exert a preload force on a bearing assembly. A platform may be fixedly disposed on the knuckle carrier. The platform may support an air spring and may have an arm that is coupled to a stabilizer bar subassembly.

METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING STABILIZER

A method for manufacturing a stabilizer, the stabilizer including a main body bar that is elastically deformable, and a pair of connecting plates that are separately connected to a pair of left and right suspension devices, the method including a forging step of forming the connecting pate by forging both end portions of a material tube, in which in the forging step, both end portions of the material tube are crushed in a radial direction to be formed into the connecting plate in a state where a sealing metal plate heated to a temperature equal to or higher than a melting point is disposed inside both end portions of the material tube heated to a temperature lower than the melting point.

Bracket for vehicle stabilizer, vehicle stabilizer and method for manufacturing vehicle stabilizer

A bracket for a vehicle stabilizer is provided and includes an elastomer element for receiving a stabilizer spring, a first and a second bracket element. The first and the second bracket elements are connectable in such a way that the elastomer element is fixed between the first and the second bracket elements. A connection means for connecting the first and the second bracket elements is formed on the first and second bracket elements, the connection means has at least one connection pin and a connection recess. In a connection state of the first bracket element and of the second bracket element, the connection pin is inserted into the connection recess, and in the connection state the connection pin is frictionally fixed in the connection recess and/or the connection pin is riveted in the connection recess in a positive manner and/or the connection pin is cohesively fixed in the connection recess.

Axle assembly having a cross brace

An axle assembly that includes first and second hanger brackets and at least one cross brace. The first and second hanger brackets may be spaced apart from each other and may be adapted to be mounted to a chassis of a vehicle. The cross brace may extend from the first hanger bracket to the second hanger bracket.

360 degree zero clearance bi-sectional damper assembly
11318806 · 2022-05-03 ·

A combination of components forming a steering stabilizer mounting assembly including a stabilizer, a bracket shim, an independent hollow tubular housing with a fixedly attached base washer, and nuts and bolts to fasten the components into place.

Self-balancing device for self-propelled off-road RV box body

Disclosed is a self-balancing device for self-propelled off-road RV box body. The self-balancing device includes an auxiliary beam body for connecting with a bottom end of the RV box body, a front triangular balance beam body, a rear triangular balance beam body and an axle-holding device for connecting with a RV chassis girder. The front triangular balance beam body and the rear triangular balance beam body are arranged close to both ends of the auxiliary beam body respectively. The axle-holding device is arranged between the front triangular balance beam body and the rear triangular balance beam body. Both the front triangular balance beam body and the rear triangular balance beam body include a hard limit structure for limiting a swing angle of the RV box body. The axle-holding device includes a soft limit structure for horizontally resetting the RV box body.

Stabilizer system for vehicle

In each of a first stabilizer device and a second stabilizer device, a stabilizer bar is supported by one or more cylinders, a communication passage via which two fluid chambers of each cylinder are connected is provided, and an opening-closing valve is disposed in the communication passage such that an inter-fluid-chamber communication state where the two fluid chambers communicate with each other and an inter-fluid-chamber shutoff state where the two fluid chambers are shut off from each other are selectively established. Hereby, a vehicle body roll restraining effect is achieved in the inter-fluid-chamber shutoff state while the vehicle body roll restraining effect is cancelled in the inter-fluid-chamber communication state. A linkage mechanism by which those two states of each of the stabilizer devices are changed in conjunction with each other is provided.

CTBA bush and CTBA suspension system

A Coupled Torsion Beam Axle (CTBA) bush may include an axial stiffness control portion which forms a cross section of a bush pipe 3 in a cross-sectional structure of additionally securing a gap, the bush pipe generating a rotation against an external load so that lateral stiffness performance and lateral steer performance are enhanced together; and a front and rear stiffness control portion which forms a bush mass in an X-shaped asymmetric bridge structure, the bush mass forming the bush pipe as an external diameter and forming a bush core as an internal diameter so that handling performance and ride comfort performance are enhanced together.

Connection system for connecting a damping unit of a motor vehicle inside a wheel suspension of said vehicle

The invention relates to a connection system for connecting a damper unit of a vehicle inside a wheel suspension of the vehicle, the connection system having: an upper attachment region for attaching the damping unit, at least part of said region surrounding a receiving area for the damping unit and the receiving area extending around a first axis acting as the damping axis of the damping unit; a lower attachment region for coupling to the wheel-side portion of the wheel suspension, said lower attachment region having, in particular, two mutually spaced lower sections with an attachment area therebetween and an intermediate region which connects the upper attachment region to the lower attachment region. The main extension of the intermediate region corresponds to the direction of the first axis and the intermediate region allows the passage of a drive shaft of the vehicle. The connection system is made of an extruded part, the extrusion direction of which is the direction in which the extruded material extends, said material thus forming the intermediate region of the connection system. The invention also relates to a connection system comprising a clamping mechanism.
