Hook assembly for door curtain of vehicle

This application relates to a hook assembly for a door curtain of a vehicle. The hook assembly is installed on a door panel to which a door curtain is hooked and fixed. The hook assembly includes a hook body installed to pass through a through-hole formed in the door panel in a load direction due to the door curtain, and a hook pin engaged with the hook body in a direction perpendicular to the load direction due to the door curtain. When the hook pin is engaged with the hook body, the hook body is supported in the through-hole in an engaged direction of the hook pin and one side of the hook body is pressed against a circumference of the through-hole.

RETRACTABLE OVERHEAD SHADE

A retractable overhead assembly for a vehicle having a retractable cover (912) under tension and an integrated stiffening rod that includes attachment features (916) to selectively connect to a windshield area. The retractable system is self contained within an extrusion keeping the overall package size small and the installation/removal simple. The retractable cover creates a sun shade over the vehicle front cockpit and/or rear passenger area when deployed, and is retractable to a stowed position. The retractable overhead assembly is installable under any hard or soft top assembly configuration, and does not impede use or operation of the hard top or soft top assembly.

The dashboard-mounted retractable sunscreen is a sunscreen that may be deployed from a housing mounted in the area of a vehicle dashboard. To deploy the sunscreen, a shade is pulled from within the housing by grasping a hook on the top of the shade and pulling up. The same hook is used to hold the shade in place by passing the hook over the vehicle's rearview mirror. When no longer needed, the shade may be easily retracted back into the housing by separating the hook from the rearview mirror and lowering the hook towards the housing. Springs in each side of the housing enable the shade to wrap itself around a central rod within the housing. Width adjustment knobs on each end of the housing help hold the housing in place by pressing against the vehicle's left and right A pillars.

RETRACTABLE VEHICLE SUN SHADE WITH A MAGNETIC LATCH

A retractable sun shade for a vehicle that rolls up into a housing at the base of the windshield. Magnets on the top edge of the shade latch with corresponding magnets mounted to the vehicle to hold the shade open when deployed. Vehicle magnets may for example be on a T-bar that is clamped to the rearview mirror arm. The housing may be held in position via tension bars on the left and right ends of the housing, which push outward against the sides of the vehicle to hold the housing in place. The system may be installed or removed without tools, adhesives, or fixtures. The system conforms to vehicles and windshields of different sizes and shapes. Deployment and retraction of the shade are rapid and simple.
