REINFORCEMENT STRUCTURE FOR B-PILLARLESS OPPOSITE SLIDING DOORS
A rigidity reinforcing structure for B-pillarless opposite sliding doors may include a column impact beam which is vertically mounted at one side of the door to support the door in an up-down direction of a vehicle; a center rail which is horizontally mounted at a center portion of the door to support the door in a front-rear direction of the vehicle and allows the door to slide; and a lower impact beam which is horizontally mounted at a lower side of the door to support the door in the front-rear rear direction and has one end portion where an intersection portion between the lower impact beam and the column impact beam is formed.
Seat belt apparatus
A seat belt apparatus provided in a front door of a vehicle, comprises a retractor provided in the front door and configured to retract a webbing for constraining an occupant so as to be pulled out, a belt anchor provided in the front door and attached with one end of the webbing, and a latch configured to engage the front door to a vehicle body. The latch is provided between the retractor and the belt anchor in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle body.
Vehicle lateral structure
A vehicle lateral structure includes: a rocker extending in a longitudinal direction of a vehicle; and a side door existing along the rocker in a closed state in which the side door is closed, the side door including a lower region of the side door being located further from a center of the vehicle in a vehicle width direction than the rocker is in the vehicle width direction and a protrusion portion which protrudes toward the center of the vehicle in the vehicle width direction from a lower end portion of the lower region in a vertical direction of the vehicle.
Motor Vehicle Having a Side Door
A motor vehicle includes a body that has a doorway. A side door is moveably held on the doorway and displaceable between a closed position and an open position. The side door has an inner door part, a reinforcement element, and a planking element. The reinforcement element has an upper deformation region and a lower deformation region. An impact damper that is a foam part is disposed inside the side door between the reinforcement element and the inner door part. The impact damper extends over at least a partial length of the reinforcement element and substantially completely fills a cavity delimited between the reinforcement element and the inner door part.
VEHICLE SIDE STRUCTURE
The present application prevents an engaging pin or a catcher pin from damaging an upper surface of a side sill or a lower surface of a side door when the door is closed, and reduces a height of the side sill over which an occupant steps when getting into a vehicle. A vehicle side structure includes an engaging portion that is at least partially provided between a lower part of a side door and a side sill and provides engagement between the lower part and the side sill. The engaging portion includes an engaging pin provided to protrude from an upper surface of the side sill, and a catcher pin that is provided in the lower part of the side door, receives the engaging pin brought into a space above the lower part of the side door, and engages a tip of the engaging pin.
VEHICLE DOOR STRUCTURE
A vehicle door structure that can displace inward a region directly above a lower end of a door built-in center pillar while preventing displacement of a door lower surface to absorb lateral collision energy immediately after lateral collision is provided. In the vehicle door structure including a door built-in center pillar extending from an upper end to a lower end at a front end in a rear door of a biparting door system, a reinforcement is provided on a door lower surface below the door built-in center pillar, a part of the lower end of the door built-in center pillar is mounted to the reinforcement, and a low rigidity portion having lower rigidity than an upper part the door built-in center pillar is provided directly above the lower end of the door built-in center pillar.
Locking mechanism for slideable vehicle doors
An assembly for a vehicle includes a first door and a second door movable from an open position to a closed position. The assembly includes a first anchor supported by the first pillar movable along an axis to an engaged position. The assembly includes a first rod supported by the first door movable along an axis to an engaged position. The assembly includes a second rod supported by the second door movable along the axis to an engaged position. The first anchor is lockingly engaged with the first rod when first anchor is in the engaged position. The first rod is lockingly engaged with the second rod when the first rod is in the engaged position and the first anchor is in the engaged position.
COMPOSITE VEHICLE DOOR COMPONENTS FORMED BY SHEET MOLDING COMPOUND-RESIN TRANSFER MOLDING ASSEMBLIES
A lightweight and simplified vehicle door assembly is provided with four main components, an upper frame positioned about the window, an inner frame structure, an outer body panel, and a composite reinforcement component. The composite reinforcement component provides an all-in-one solution for a side impact cross beam, as well as an upper door reinforcement, a front door pillar reinforcement, and a rear door pillar reinforcement. The composite reinforcement component acts to reinforce the overall door structure, offers resistance to a side impact that limits the intrusion into the passenger compartment, and offers resistance to a frontal impact by maintaining the spacing between the vehicle A and B pillars (for a front door) and pillar C and D for a back door. A coupe vehicle door in which there is no window frame may be reinforced with the composite reinforcement component. The composite reinforcement component may have continuous or chopped fibers.
Door structure of automotive vehicle and assembly method of the same
Guide rails with which a window regulator is provided are respectively fixed to a module plate. The guide rails are fixed, together with the module plate, to an edge of an opening portion provided at inward frames from an outward side in a vehicle width direction. Attachment portions which are capable of afterward attaching outward frames to the inward frames are provided, and attachment portions which are capable of afterward attaching a door outer panel to a door frame comprising the inward frames and the outward frames are provided.
