Door structure of vehicle

A door structure of a vehicle, capable of reliably transmitting a load, is provided. A rear side door (1) includes an inner panel (2) and an elongated door beam (4) that is attached to an outer side of the inner panel (2) in a vehicle width direction of a vehicle body and arranged along a front-rear direction of the vehicle body. The door beam (4) includes a first plate portion (11) of a first bracket (10), which has a first surface intersecting an axis along the vehicle width direction, and a vehicle width direction plate portion (21) of a second bracket (20), which has a second surface intersecting an axis along the front-rear direction of the vehicle body. The door beam (4) is joined to the inner panel (2) via both the first plate portion (11) and a second plate portion (12).

Vehicle door impact beam

A vehicle door impact beam disposed between first and second door panels includes: a first grooved portion configured to include a bottom wall portion extending along the first door panel in a predetermined direction, and side wall portions; a second grooved portion disposed a predetermined gap away from the first grooved portion in the width direction, and configured to include a bottom wall portion and side wall portions respectively connected to both end portions of the bottom wall portion in the width direction; and a connection wall portion configured to connect one side wall portion, which is one of the side wall portions of the first grooved portion and positioned on a second grooved portion side, to one side wall portion which is one of the side wall portions of the second grooved portion and positioned on a first grooved portion side.

Door impact beam

A door impact beam for a door of a motor vehicle includes a first fastening portion configured to be fastened to a first fastening intersection of the door and a second fastening portion configured to be fastened to a second fastening intersection of the door. A profiled portion extends between the first fastening portion and the second fastening portion. The profiled portion is designed at least in sections as a hollow profile with two side walls disposed opposite to each other and two connecting walls disposed opposite to each other which connect the side walls to each other. The connecting walls have an outwardly directed convex curvature.

Vehicle side door structure and method of making and using the same

In an embodiment, a side door for a vehicle, includes: a structure comprising a shell comprising a shell support beam positioned across a main body portion of the shell, wherein the shell support beam comprises substantially unidirectional fiber strip sections; wherein the shell comprise a inner shell and a outer shell; and wherein the side door has a score of at least 4 points in a side impact test conducted according to European New Car Assessment Protocol (Euro NCAP) Side Impact Testing Protocol Version 5.2 (November 2011).

Adjustably positionable spacer for vehicle door assembly

A spacer is provided for mounting on a vehicle impact beam. The spacer includes a first surface having a first radius of curvature centered on a first axis, and a second surface opposite the first surface, the second surface having a second radius of curvature centered on a second axis extending parallel to the first axis and spaced apart from the first axis.

Vehicle door

A vehicle door is provided having an outer panel reinforced by a panel reinforcement and which is configured to generate low-frequency sound dominantly at the time of closing the door. The door has an outer panel openably/closably attached to a vehicle body by a front hinge; and a panel reinforcement extending in a vehicle front-rear direction on an inner side of the outer panel. The outer panel and the panel reinforcement are fixed by plural adhesion sections. The number of the adhesion sections in an upper area of the outer panel is larger than the number of the adhesion sections in a lower area of the outer panel. The number of the adhesion sections provided in a front lower area near the front hinge in the lower area is larger than the number of adhesion sections in a rear lower area away from the front hinge in the lower area.

Door Assemblies Including An Engagement Member and Vehicles Incorporating The Same

A door assembly including a door outer panel, a door inner panel that is coupled to and positioned inboard of the door outer panel in a vehicle lateral direction, an door impact beam positioned between the door outer panel and the door inner panel, where the door impact beam extends in a vehicle longitudinal direction, and an engagement member coupled to the door impact beam, the engagement member including a shaft that extends through a hole defined by the door impact beam and that extends in the vehicle lateral direction toward the door inner panel.

Vehicle door assembly

The vehicle door assembly includes an outer panel which has a rocker sill area and a beltline area. A reinforcement member, which is made of one or more pieces, is attached with the outer panel along at least a portion of an outer periphery of the outer panel. The door assembly further includes a module which is made as a single integral piece and is fixedly attached with the reinforcement member. The module has an inner beltline reinforcement and supports a pair of window channels and a window regulator for controllably raising and lowering a window between an open position and a closed position.

Vehicle body structure and vehicle

A body structure including an A-pillar, a door assembly, an engine compartment assembly and an upper longitudinal beam of engine compartment, and also includes a reinforcement plate of upper longitudinal beam, a first anti-crash beam, and a second anti-crash beam. The front end of the reinforcement plate of upper longitudinal beam is connected to the middle portion of the upper longitudinal beam of engine compartment. The rear end of the reinforcement plate of upper longitudinal beam is connected to the engine compartment assembly. The upper longitudinal beam of engine compartment and the reinforcement plate of upper longitudinal beam form a first triangle area on the engine compartment assembly. The first anti-crash beam and the second anti-crash beam are installed on the door assembly along a direction from the front to the rear of the vehicle body. The first anti-crash beam is located above the second anti-crash beam.
