The invention relates to a door (3) of a motor vehicle (1), having an outer wall and a lining (7) forming a casing (9), said casing (9) comprising: a main side reinforcement (17) extending longitudinally between a front edge (9A) and a rear edge (9C) of said casing (9); an upper reinforcement (15) extending longitudinally along an upper edge (9B) of said casing (9); an exterior opening control support (11) of the door (3), which is fixed to the upper reinforcement (15); the casing (9) further comprising: an auxiliary side reinforcement (21) which extends above the main side reinforcement (17) longitudinally between the front edge (9A) and the rear edge (9C) of the casing (9) and is fixed to the control support for the exterior opening (11) of the door (3).

FLAP SYSTEM FOR A HANDLE ARRANGEMENT
20230358079 · 2023-11-09 · ·

A flap system for impairing with an undesired deployment of a handle of a handle arrangement of a motor vehicle includes: a body, an axle and a reversibly deformable member, the body being rotatable around the axle and including a flap and a driving member, the flap system tilting about the axle between a blocking configuration and a disengaged configuration. The reversibly deformable member maintains the flap system in the blocking configuration, the flap system moving to the disengaged position by actuation of the driving member triggering the deformation of the reversibly deformable member and the rotation of the body around the axle. When the flap system is mounted in the handle arrangement, the flap, in the disengaged position, is spaced apart from the handle to allow its deployment and, in the blocking configuration, faces the handle to prevent its deployment.

Lift truck operator compartment door

Lift trucks can have an operator compartment designed with an ergonomically improved cab door having a door frame, a set of glass sheets, upper and lower hinges, a handle, a door catch assembly, a door support member, and one or more operator handlebars. The door support member and operator handlebars can be sized and/or positioned to provide structural strength to the door. The cab door can have an unobstructed door design to facilitate maximum operator visibility. The catch assembly can maintain the door in an open position and the operator can readily close the door when desired. In one embodiment, the door includes a vertical operator handlebar and a horizontal operator handlebar that facilitate easy entry into and exit from the operator compartment without unduly obscuring operator visibility through the door.

A door handle providing a superior visibility from both front and rear directions of a vehicle is provided. The door handle includes: an operating portion that bulges from a door outer surface, defining a space between the door outer surface and the operating portion, allowing a user to insert his or her hand into the space; a fixation portion arranged adjacent to the operating portion, including a lens as a translucent member; an outer surface provided in the lens, the outer surface having such a region that a vehicle rear side of the region is positioned outward as compared to a vehicle front side thereof; and a lighting body serving as a direction indicator allowing a transmissive illumination to be made from the inner surface side of the lens. Thus, the lens can be made visible not only from the vehicular lateral side but from the vehicular front side.

VEHICLE DOOR ASSEMBLY

A vehicle door assembly includes an inner door panel that partially defines a cavity therein, a door handle assembly, a main reinforcing bracket, a first reinforcing bracket and a vibration absorbing member. The first reinforcing bracket has an upper end fixedly attached to the main reinforcing bracket and to a rearward area of the inner door panel within the cavity below the door handle assembly. The vibration absorbing member has an outboard surface, an inboard surface and a main projection that extends forward from the main body. The main projection is fixed to the first reinforcing bracket such that the main body is rearward of the first reinforcing bracket. The outboard surface is shaped and dimensioned to correspond to the overall shape of the inboard portion of the door handle assembly.
