CONVERTIBLE ARRANGEMENT HAVING A CONVERTIBLE TOP AND/OR A CONVERTIBLE TOP BOX LID

A convertible arrangement having a displaceable top is displaceable between a covering position, in which it spans a vehicle interior, and a storage position, in which the vehicle interior is exposed at the top and the convertible top is received by a convertible top storage space. An environment sensor and/or an environment sensor accessory are/is disposed at the convertible top.

Vehicle roof base frame

A vehicle roof base frame is provided, which can be placed on top of an edge area of a vehicle roof structure delimiting a roof opening, having two longitudinal legs and a transverse leg connecting the two longitudinal legs to each other, the legs being realized as separate parts. A seal is arranged between each of the longitudinal legs and the transverse leg when in an assembly position in which the legs are firmly connected to each other.

Folding top for a cabriolet vehicle

A folding top for a cabriolet vehicle, and which includes a top linkage and a top cover. The top linkage may be adjusted for movement between a closed position and an open position via a roof kinematic system. The roof kinematic system is configured as a four-bar linkage kinematic system having a first link, a second link, and a drive member to drive the first link.

Sliding / folding soft top assembly for SUV

A sliding/folding soft top assembly having opposing first and second linkage assemblies with a plurality of guide rollers located within a first and second guide track for selectively moving the soft top assembly between a deployed position to a first stowed position or a retracted stowed position. A first bow and second bow are coupled to each of the first and second linkage assemblies, which include a first pivot joint for rotating the first bow to the first stowed position. A rear pivot joint allows a rear link of the first and second linkage assemblies to rotate in an area where the first and second guide tracks curve. A third bow is rotatably connected to first and second pivot brackets, and a fourth bow is pivotably connected to the third bow, to allow rotation of the third and fourth bow between the deployed position and retracted stowed position.

Retractable headliner corner

A headliner corner retractor for a convertible top. The corner retractor moves a front corner of the headliner between a covering position concealing a front portion of the side linkage and a contracted position in which clearance is provided for the side linkages to extend and retract the convertible top. The corner retractor is moved by a mechanical actuator including a cable and a hollow tubular housing.

SOFT TOP ASSEMBLY WITH LINKAGE FREE BOW SYSTEM
20250100358 · 2025-03-27 · ·

Soft top assembly which is linkage free between fabric management bows. A combination of a predetermined plurality of pivots, including at least one predetermined cooperative biasing pivot, dampens the movement of the soft top and provides an assist when moving between closed and predetermined open positions. Safety catches can be used if desired. An arm goes over center to lock the soft top assembly open even if there is no catch to hold the soft top in a sunroof open position. Front arm members can have an over-center position that substantially locks down the soft top in the open sunroof position from going backward until upward pressure is placed on the frame and then the soft top pivots back with an assist. A four-bar link system more easily moves the soft top to a stowed position with another push upward where a clock spring pivot biases the parallelogram frame back.
