Cover system for a vehicle roof, and vehicle roof for a motor vehicle
A cover system for a vehicle roof has a deployable and retractable first cover with a predefined stiffness and a fixed second cover with a predefined stiffness. The cover system has a cover frame coupled to the two covers. The cover system has a cross strut with a stiffness of predefined configuration. The cross strut is coupled to the cover frame on opposite sides and is disposed between a rear edge of the first cover and a front edge of the second cover. The cover system has a reinforcement assembly having a U-shaped reinforcement frame coupled to the first cover, the reinforcement frame and the stiffnesses of the two covers and the cross strut configured to be mutually adapted such that a movement of the covers in the vertical direction is permitted within a predefined tolerance range.
Assembly and cover system for a vehicle roof, vehicle roof for a motor vehicle, and method for manufacturing an assembly for a vehicle roof
An assembly for vehicle roof has a deployable cover, a cover inside panel which is coupled to the cover, and a cover frame configured to couple the cover to the roof. The assembly has a cover receptacle unit to receive the cover and to couple the latter to the cover frame, and a cover centering unit with a centering lever and lever receptacle, configured to match one another. One centering lever and lever receptacle is coupled to the cover frame on a lateral longitudinal strut of the latter. The other of centering lever and lever receptacle is coupled to the cover inside panel so that the cover can be coupled to the cover frame by the cover receptacle unit and by inserting the centering lever is able to be centered in the lever receptacle in relation to a plane of main extent of the cover relative to the cover frame.
DEVICES AND METHODS FOR OVERHEAD CRANKS
The present invention relates to crank extension device for an overhead crank. The device comprises a shell configured to fit over a crank handle, and the shell comprises an aperture for passage of the crank shaft. The device also comprises an extension connected to or integral with the shell, wherein the extension has an extension axis offset from a rotational axis of the crank shaft. The present invention also relates to methods of modifying an overhead crank and for using a crank extension device.
Vehicle roof system
A vehicle enclosure includes a roof element that rotates upward from the occupant space to increase the passenger opening and increase ease of entry. The roof element is secured to and rotates about a horizontal vehicle frame element. The roof element also supports a windshield at the upper edge of the windshield during travel. The horizontal frame element is formed of a rigid tubular cross-section member including tubular hinge elements to which the roof element is secured to enable the rotating action of the roof element.
Multi-directional vehicle roof cover system
A system for a multi-directional roof cover system includes a vehicle comprising an opening in the top of the vehicle and a cover movably coupled to selectively cover the opening. The cover has a first end proximate a first end of the vehicle, a second end proximate a second end of the vehicle, lateral edges connecting the first end and the second end, and linkages coupling the lateral edges to the vehicle. The cover is actuatable, based on one or more conditions, between a first position in which the cover is closed and covers the opening, a second position in which the cover is open and the first end of the cover is raised relative to the second end of the cover, and a third position in which the cover is open and the second end of the cover is raised relative to the first end of the cover.
Construction machine, in particular a road construction machine, and method for adjusting a flexible lateral wall element of a lateral weather protection device of a construction machine
The present invention relates to a construction machine, in particular a road construction machine, comprising a machine frame, an operator platform arranged on said machine frame with an operator work-place, an operator platform roof, which is, in particular, height-adjustable, and a vertically extending lateral weather protection device for an operator located on the operator platform. The present invention also relates to a method for adjusting a flexible lateral wall element adjustable between a pull-in position and a pull-out position, which is part of a lateral weather protection device of a construction machine.
LIFTING ROOF FOR A VEHICLE, IN PARTICULAR FOR A PANEL VAN, A CAMPERVAN OR A CARAVAN, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME
A lifting roof for a vehicle having an outer shell and an inner shell which are adhesively bonded to one another. Production is carried out by separately producing the outer shell and the inner shell from a material comprising plastic, the shells being positioned in relation to one another and adhesively bonded to one another, wherein metal parts are also concomitantly introduced at least for receiving hinges and closures.
ROOF VENT
A roof vent includes a roof disposed on a vehicle and a vent assembly. The vent assembly includes at least one vent unit disposed on the roof and configured to be popped up to the interior of the vehicle, a driving unit driving the vent unit, and at least one rack unit applying driving force of the driving unit to the vent unit. The vent unit is popped up or tilted by the driving unit.
Roof system for a vehicle
A roof system for a vehicle having a roof opening in a roof part thereof comprises a transparent panel in the roof opening, and a ventilation system for moving air into and/or out of the vehicle interior. The ventilation system includes an air guiding channel guiding air between the vehicle interior and the environment through at least one ventilation opening. The air guiding channel is fitted centrally below the transparent panel and extends in longitudinal direction of the vehicle, substantially completely along the panel and communicates with the interior at least along a substantial length of the panel through holes.
