Pickup camper
A pickup camper is described. Embodiments of the pickup camper can include, but are not limited to, a camper body and a roof assembly. The camper body can include a front panel, a left-side panel, a right-side panel, a cross-member, and a back panel. The roof assembly can include a panel rotatably and removably coupled to the left-side panel, a panel rotatably and removably coupled to the right-side panel, a panel rotatably and removably coupled to the cross-member, and a roof panel rotatably and removably coupled to the front panel. In a travel configuration, the roof assembly components can be folded down on one another with the roof panel covering the other panels. In a deployed configuration, the roof assembly components can be rotated upwards to increase an overhead height inside the pickup camper.
Door and roof configurations for vehicles
A vehicle includes a vehicle body, a first panel assembly that is movable between a closed position and an open position with respect to a first opening of the vehicle body, a second panel assembly that is movable between a closed position and an open position with respect to a second opening of the vehicle body, a front seat that faces rearward and is accessible from the first opening and the second opening, and a rear seat that faces forward and is accessible from the first opening and the second opening.
MAGNETIC HEADER DESIGN
A vehicle arrangement is provided including a vehicle body having at least a partially open top and transverse window with a ferromagnetic frame, a flexible membrane sunscreen cover for at least a portion of the vehicle. A magnetic member connected with the sunscreen cover holds an end of the cover with the window frame.
HINGE SYSTEM FOR HARDTOP VEHICLES
A hinge system for a vehicle hardtop having a system with hinges (1) that allow a user to open and close a set of removable rigid rooftop panels (5, 6) for a Jeep or other sport utility vehicle without being required to fully remove and store the rigid roof panels.
VEHICLE DOOR SYSTEM AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF, AND VEHICLE HAVING SAME
A vehicle door system and a control method thereof, and a vehicle having the same. The vehicle door system comprises: a top door, the top door opening or closing a first opening of a vehicle body top portion; and a side door, the side door comprising a side door member and a side window, wherein the side door member opens or closes a second opening of a vehicle body side wall, the side window is mounted on the side door member, both a top edge and a side edge of the side window are configured to be frameless, and the side window is capable of raising or lowering relative to the side door member. When the side door body closes the second opening, the side window raises or lowers to open or close a third opening of the vehicle body side wall, wherein the third opening is located above the second opening, and the first opening, the second opening, and the third opening communicate with each other.
Hardtop Hinge Device and System
The current invention is a set of improved hinges and setup to attach a panel to the hardtop roof of a vehicle. A device that can lock the removable roof or hardtop in an open position. In the preferred embodiment the hinges are comprised of two or more separate hinges with each hinge connected to each panel by one or more flaps. The flaps may be aligned using an alignment bracket. After opening the panels, the panels are folded back on the hinges and can be locked to the roof of the vehicles with one or more locks located on the sides of the roof. The current invention is more flexible and has a better alignment system the back panel being larger than the front panel. The current system has a double hinged system which is an improvement.
Opening structure of tail gate and roof and mounting method thereof
An opening structure of a tail gate and a roof may include a cross member mounted at the roof of a vehicle, a hinge mounted at the cross member and a tail gate body in white (BIW), a hinge drive motor operating the hinge, and a spindle drive expandably and contractibly mounted to move the roof. The tail gate is opened by the hinge drive motor, or a rear of the roof is moved upward by the expansion of the spindle drive after the tail gate is opened.
METHOD OF ENHANCING RAIN AND SUN PROTECTION USING A RAIN AND SUN SHIELD FOR GOLF CARTS
A method for enhancing the rain and sun protection of a golf cart roof using a rain and sun shield device. The rain and sun shield for a covered golf cart is semi-permanently attached to the roof of a golf cart. The device is easy to install; will retrofit to any standard golf cart roof; does not interfere with the parking and storing profile (i.e. are sized to fit within the perimeter of any standard golf cart roof when in the closed position) of a fleet of golf carts. The device is easily opened and closed to provide the golf cart user with added sun and rain protection when in use.
Assembly and cover system for a vehicle roof, vehicle roof for a motor vehicle, and method for manufacturing an assembly for a vehicle roof
An assembly for vehicle roof has a deployable cover, a cover inside panel which is coupled to the cover, and a cover frame configured to couple the cover to the roof. The assembly has a cover receptacle unit to receive the cover and to couple the latter to the cover frame, and a cover centering unit with a centering lever and lever receptacle, configured to match one another. One centering lever and lever receptacle is coupled to the cover frame on a lateral longitudinal strut of the latter. The other of centering lever and lever receptacle is coupled to the cover inside panel so that the cover can be coupled to the cover frame by the cover receptacle unit and by inserting the centering lever is able to be centered in the lever receptacle in relation to a plane of main extent of the cover relative to the cover frame.
Vehicle roof system
A vehicle enclosure includes a roof element that rotates upward from the occupant space to increase the passenger opening and increase ease of entry. The roof element is secured to and rotates about a horizontal vehicle frame element. The roof element also supports a windshield at the upper edge of the windshield during travel. The horizontal frame element is formed of a rigid tubular cross-section member including tubular hinge elements to which the roof element is secured to enable the rotating action of the roof element.
