A seat support for use with a vehicle seat and adapted to engage a track provided on the floor of a vehicle, the track comprising two inwardly-directed lips on opposed sides of a slot, the lips providing first alternating protrusions and recesses along the length of the track, the protrusions being spaced apart by a spacing distance, the first and second protrusions defining shoulder surfaces on each side thereof, the seat support having an elongate main body and comprising: an interface portion which has a profile comprising second alternating protrusions and recesses, the protrusions being spaced apart by the same spacing distance; and a first bracing member provided at or near a forward end of the main body, and a second bracing member provided at or near a rear end of the main body; wherein: the seat support is configured such that the second protrusions may be aligned with the first recesses so that the interface portion may be placed within the slot in an engagement position, the seat support being moveable with respect to the slot, from the engagement position into a bracing position in which the first and second protrusions are substantially aligned, preventing the interface portion from being removed from the slot; one of the first bracing member and the second bracing member is a fixed bracing member, being fixed substantially fixed in place with respect to the main body of the seat support, so that in both the engagement position and the bracing position the first bracing member is received in one of the recesses of the track; the other one of the first bracing member and the second bracing member is a moveable bracing member, being movable with respect to the main body of the seat support, between a retracted position, in which, when the interface portion is placed within the slot, the movable bracing member is above the level of the track, and a locking position, in which, when the interface portion is placed within the slot, the moveable bracing member extends into the slot; and when the seat support is in the bracing position and the movable bracing member is in the locking position, the first and second bracing members are received in respective recesses of the track, the first bracing member is braced against a first pair of shoulders on the track that face towards the rear of the main body, and the second bracing member is braced against a second pair of shoulders on the track that face towards the front of the main body.

Sandwich Panel Floor Modular Structure

A sandwich panel floor modular structure includes a sandwich panel configured to be fixed on a floor panel of a vehicle, a center rail embedded in the sandwich panel and configured to guide a console to move in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle, and seat rails embedded in the sandwich panel and spaced apart from both sides of the center rail, the seat rails configured to guide a seat to move in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle.

Motor vehicle seat floor slide rail having a gap elimination structure

A motor vehicle seat floor slide rail includes a lower slide rail assembly (100), an upper slide rail assembly (200) and a gap elimination mechanism (230, 230′), with a shaft-provided gap elimination cam (231L, 231R), on an upper slide rail longitudinal end, having a rotation center (232a) axis perpendicular to an upper rail longitudinal direction. A locking window face (117L, 117R) has an aluminum slide rail (110) longitudinal gap elimination face (113L, 113R). A rail locked state has a cam face (2311L, 2311R) in contact with the gap elimination face to eliminate a Y and Z direction gap. In a rail unlocked state, a locking mechanism (240) drives the gap elimination cam, such that the cam face loses contact with the gap elimination face. The gap elimination cam moves in linkage with the locking mechanism, reducing sliding friction, and having the advantage of low sliding assistance motive power.

VEHICLE SEAT MOUNTING ARRANGEMENT
20210016685 · 2021-01-21 ·

The invention relates to a vehicle seat mounting arrangement, comprising a profile rail (3) and at least one mounting device (6), wherein the mounting device (6) comprises a lock mechanism (10) with two bracket elements (11) to be inserted into the profile rail (3) and a locking element (12), which bracket elements (11) may be spread apart from each other into a spreaded state to create a form fit engagement with the profile rail (3), wherein the lock mechanism (10) may be brought into a locked state by driving the locking element (12) into at least one locking position between the bracket elements (11), securing the spreaded state and thereby the form fit engagement with the profile rail (3), and into an unlocked state by driving the locking element (12) out of the locking position, allowing release of the spreaded state and thereby out of the form fit engagement with the profile rail (3), wherein during inserting the bracket elements (11) an engagement with the profile rail (3) forces the bracket elements (11) at least partly to be spread apart from each other.
