ENERGY ABSORBING ASSEMBLY FOR AIRCRAFT SEAT
An energy absorbing assembly includes an attachment component configured to be coupled to a mounting structure. The energy absorbing assembly also includes an anchor that has a tip portion, a shaft, and a head. The anchor is configured to extend through the attachment component such that the head is disposed on a first side of the attachment component and the tip portion is disposed on a second side of the attachment component and is configured to be coupled to the mounting structure. The energy absorbing assembly also includes a deformable member configured to be positioned concentrically around the shaft of the anchor. The deformable member is configured to be retained between the first side of the attachment component and the head of the anchor.
Device for attaching an object on a rail of a support
A device for attaching an object on a rail of a support is provided. The device includes a base designed to bear on the rail, and a device for tightening the base on the rail. The tightening device includes a threaded rod and a nut. A first end of the tightening device includes a tightening heel designed to be placed below the rail to tighten the rail between the heel and the base. A second end of the tightening device includes an element for maneuvering by an operator to tighten/loosen the device. The device can further include a detachable non-return device to prevent any involuntary loosening of the device.
Track and seat adapter for positioning and locking wheelchairs and transit seats
A track assembly for positioning and removably securing wheelchairs and transit seats in a vehicle, having a first rail having a frame, the frame having a top surface, a first side surface, a second side surface, and a longitudinal axis. The track assembly further includes a plurality of apertures having a shape, the apertures evenly distributed within the top surface along the longitudinal axis of the frame, a plurality of channels connecting the first and second side surfaces proximate the top surface, the channels evenly distributed along the longitudinal axis of the frame, and a second rail identical to and arranged in parallel with the first rail to form the track assembly.
Vehicle Flooring System
A flooring system for a vehicle having a corrugated floor comprises a plurality of flooring panels supported at their undersides by two or more registration members having locating members and other features for aligning the flooring panels vertically, laterally, and longitudinally. The flooring panels each have at least one longitudinally aligned load-bearing structure, such as in integrated track or a universal channel configured to receive a flanged track, filler material, or both. The registration members may have depending support members configured to engage in the valleys of the corrugated vehicle floor.
Manual track fittings
A track fitting for securing a structure to an open-top channeled track may include at least one leaf having a flange portion that depends at an angle from a levering portion, and at least one fastener for connecting the levering portion to the structure, wherein in a secured condition, the flange portion is oriented for engagement with an underside of at least one of the two inwardly directed lips and the levering portion extends outside the open-top channel where the fastener secures the levering portion to the structure.
In-cabin partition and mobility vehicle including the same
An in-cabin partition may allow for automatically adjusting the size of a space, in a mobility vehicle, for passengers and cargo according to circumstances and/or needs. A mobility vehicle may be provided with the in-cabin partition. The in-cabin partition may include at least one rail installed in a cabin, a slider movable along the rail, a first driver mounted on the rail and the slider and configured to provide driving force for moving the slider, and a partition body fixed on the slider.
QUICK-RELEASE TRACK FITTINGS
A quick-release fitting for lockingly engaging between two inwardly-directed lips of a track may comprise two resilient plates that are spreadable via a blade moved between raised/disengaged and lowered/engaged positions via a four-bar linkage mechanism. The lower edges of the plates may comprise flanges that extend at angles corresponding to the angles of the undersides of the inwardly-directed lips. To concentrate contact forces between the fitting and the track, and reduce a spreading force on the track, the plates may include a neck region immediately above the flanges. The quick-release fitting may also include a roller assembly allowing the structure being supported by the fitting to be tilted rearward and moved. The roller assembly may include features to keep the quick-release fitting aligned with the track when moved.
MOUNTING FITTING
A mounting fitting for mounting an object to a surface and releasably locking the object in one or more positions relative to the surface, the mounting fitting comprising an elongate fitting body (10) comprising a first portion (11) configured to be attached to the object, in use, and a second portion (12) having a locking mechanism (30) configured to releasably lock the fitting relative to the surface, in use, wherein the locking mechanism comprises a rotatable knob (13) having an elongate protrusion (132) extending therefrom and a spring mechanism (24, 25) mounted within a spring mechanism housing (20) mounted within the knob (13), wherein the spring mechanism is biased to engage the knob (13) to the spring mechanism housing (20), and wherein application of a twisting force to the knob rotates the knob against the force of the spring mechanism relative to the spring mechanism housing to change the orientation of the protrusion (132) relative to the fitting body (10).
