AIRCRAFT SEAT WITH ENERGY ATTENUATING METERING PLATE
A seat base assembly for an aircraft seat includes parallel rails attached to an aircraft bulkhead, each rail including a slot extending vertically within the rail. The seat (e.g., seatback and seat frame) is attached to a sled capable of vertical translation relative to the bulkhead via slidable members that translate along the slots. The sled includes a hole for accommodating a locking pin controllable by the seat occupant. A metering plate attached to the seat base behind the sled is folded over a lateral axis into a forward and rear layer, the forward layer including holes for the locking pin wherein each hole corresponds to a desired seat height to which the seat may be adjusted by securing the locking pin through the sled hole and metering hole. In response to an impact event, the metering plate deforms to absorb impact energy and control downward deceleration of the seat.
MODULAR VEHICLE FOR PEDESTRIAN ENVIRONMENT
A modular vehicle for transporting an individual, the vehicle comprising a main frame comprising a rear end and a front end opposite to the rear end, the main frame defining a longitudinal axis. The modular vehicle comprises at least two seats mounted side-by-side in a single row substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis, each of the at least two seats adapted for seating an individual, each of the two seats comprising a seat surface; and a backrest facing substantially toward the front end. The modular vehicle further comprises a driving area at the rear end of the main frame for driving the vehicle.
Seat for autonomous driving vehicle
A seat for an autonomous driving vehicle includes a cushion part; a back part coupled to a rear end of the cushion part through a recliner and having an adjustable angle in a front and rear direction; and a leg part rotatably coupled to a front end of the cushion part and having a lower side coupled to a seat rail. The back part is disposed to be vertically movable along a back rail located on a rear side of the back part, and the leg part is disposed to be movable back and forth by the seat rail.
Seat height gear system and seat having the same
An embodiment is a seat height gear system including a monopost apparatus configured to be mounted under a seat, the monopost apparatus comprising a lower post and an upper post, and a direct drive motor apparatus within the monopost apparatus, the direct drive motor apparatus including a motor and a gear unit, the gear unit including a pinion and a rack bar, the rack bar being configured to be engaged with the pinion, the motor being fixed to the lower post of the monopost apparatus, the pinion being coupled to the motor, the rack bar being fixed to an upper post of the monopost apparatus, the motor being configured to rotate the pinion, and the rack bar being configured to convert the rotation of the pinion into the linear motion.
Adjusting system for a seat, and seat
An adjusting system is provided for a seat, in particular a motor vehicle seat. A longitudinal axis, in which a person sitting on the seat is facing, is defined for the seat, and a transverse axis running perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis and a height axis running perpendicularly to the transverse axis and the longitudinal axis are also defined. The adjusting system comprises at least one first bearing ring which can be connected to the seat, at least one second bearing ring which can be connected to a seat mounting, and a plurality of adjusting rings which are connected to one another in a sequential manner and which are arranged between the first bearing ring and the second bearing ring. The adjusting rings can be rotated relative to one another in order to pivot the seat selectively about the longitudinal axis, the transverse axis, and the height axis.
RAISED SEATING SYSTEM FOR A PERSONAL WATERCRAFT
A personal watercraft includes a hull, a deck disposed on the hull and a seat assembly supported on the deck. The deck is disposed on the hull. The seat assembly includes a seat portion, a backrest and a blocking system. The seat portion is selectively connected to the deck. The backrest is selectively connected to the seat portion. The blocking system is operatively connected to the seat portion, and has a first configuration permitting connection of the seat portion to the deck in response to the backrest being disconnected from the seat portion, and a second configuration preventing connection of the seat portion to the deck in response to the backrest being connected to the seat portion.
Seat adjustment system
A seat support with adjustment systems allowing a height and swivel adjustment functionality of the seat in a manner free of any wobble and shaking motion. The seat mechanism for height and swivel adjustments have screw adjustment applying a pre-load on a resilient component which gives a resilient force on a load bearing surface. The load bearing surface guides the seat part in motion during seat adjustment in a way to reduce friction and wear with use in time. The screw adjustment and the resilient component are configured such that play in guiding of the seat part in motion during seat adjustment is eliminated regardless of fabrication and component variations, and wear, with use in time. A screw adjustment locking device is configured to assure a stable adjustment with use in time.
Conductor chair
A conductor chair has a main seat pad and a main seat pad frame. The main pad is mounted to the main seat pad frame. The back support is mounted to a seat frame. A seat hinge is mounted to the seat frame. The seat hinge connects the main seat pad to the main seat pad frame providing the main seat pad with a bimodal operation between a vertical stowed position and a deployed position. A support frame supports a horizontal rail. The horizontal rail supports the seat frame. The seat frame is adjustable between a forward and backward position. The support frame is slide mounted to the vertical rail. Vertical rail rollers are mounted to the support frame. The vertical rail rollers roll on the vertical rail. The main seat pad frame supports the main seat pad. The base plate is connected to the vertical rail.
