Pressure reducer
A pressure reducer, comprising an outer cylinder with a first air supply connector on a first end side of the outer cylinder and a second air supply connector on a second end side of the outer cylinder is provided. A piston can be guided movably in the outer cylinder. A first air chamber is arranged between the first air supply connector of the outer cylinder and the first front surface of the piston, and a second air chamber is arranged between the second air supply connector of the outer cylinder and a second front surface of the piston. The surface areas of the two front surfaces of the piston are of different size. The pressure reducer is suitable for reducing a second air pressure which prevails in the second air chamber in a pulsed manner proportionally to a first air pressure which prevails in the first air chamber, by a first air connection.
VEHICLE CAB OR VEHICLE SEAT COMPRISING A HEIGHT-ADJUSTMENT DEVICE
The invention relates to a vehicle cab or a vehicle seat comprising an upper part and a lower part which are vertically spring-mounted relative to one another by means of at least one height-adjustable scissor-action frame comprising two scissor arms which are pivotable about a common axis, and at least one air spring having a variable air volume, it being possible for movements of the scissor-action frame to be transmitted to a switching element, by means of a transmission element that is mechanically operatively connected to the scissor-action frame, in order to control the air volume of the air spring, wherein a height-adjustment device for the scissor-action frame, comprising a manually actuable control lever element and a guide element that is mechanically operatively connected thereto, the switching element being able to be pivoted about a first axis of rotation and the transmission element being able to be pivoted about the first axis of rotation in the opposite direction to the switching element by means of the guide element, in order to change a neutral position of the switching element that is between two switches provided for controlling an air volume of the air spring.
RECONFIGURABLE SEATING ASSEMBLY
A vehicle seating assembly includes a lower leg support, a seat, and a seatback. A seat rotational member rotatably couples the lower leg support to the seat. A seatback rotational member rotatably couples the seat to the seatback.
Vehicle seat
The invention relates to a vehicle seat with a vehicle seat upper part and a vehicle seat lower part, the vehicle seat upper part and the vehicle seat lower part being connected to one another by means of a connecting means in such a way that the vehicle seat upper part can be moved relative to the vehicle seat lower part and, when the vehicle seat upper part moves relative to the vehicle seat lower part, the relative movement can be sprung by means of a spring element, the vehicle seat having an additional volume, the spring element being arranged between the vehicle seat upper part or the vehicle seat lower part and a proportion of the additional volume.
HEIGHT ADJUSTING MECHANISM FOR A VEHICLE SEAT, IN PARTICULAR A UTILITY VEHICLE SEAT, AND VEHICLE SEAT, IN PARTICULAR UTILITY VEHICLE SEAT
A height adjusting mechanism (100) is provided for a vehicle seat (1), in particular for a utility vehicle seat, including a scissors-type frame (3). The height adjusting mechanism (100) includes a gas spring (12) that cooperates with the scissors-type frame (3) as well as a valve device (40) for ventilating and/or evacuating the gas spring (12). The valve device (40) is located on a control unit (110). The control unit (110) includes a control element (82) for actuating the height adjusting mechanism (100). A vehicle seat (1) is also provided including a height adjusting mechanism (100).
Control valve for an air spring and motor vehicle seat having a control valve
The invention relates to a control valve (16) for an air spring, comprising a housing (41), an exhaust duct that has an exhaust tappet (26) for opening of closing the exhaust duct, which exhaust tappet interacts with a first control means (19), a ventilation duct that has a ventilation tappet (27) for opening or closing the ventilation duct, which ventilation tappet interacts with a second control means (20), and a supplemental duct having a supplemental tappet (28) for opening or closing the supplemental duct, which supplemental tappet interacts with a third control means (21), wherein a first air connection A connects to the exhaust duct and a second air connection P connects to the exhaust duct together with the supplemental duct, wherein a first control means (19) and a second control means (20) are arranged to one another in such a manner that said control means cannot be actuated at the same time by an control element (18), and wherein the second control means (20) and the third control means (21) are arranged to one another in such a manner that the supplemental duct can only be opened when the ventilation duct is opened. The invention further relates to a motor vehicle seat comprising a mechanical swing system and an air spring, which motor vehicle seat has such a control valve.
Race Car Seat Lift
A race car seat lift comprising of a seat which is pivotally connected to the frame of the racecar wherein a pneumatic inflatable bag is located beneath the seat. The pneumatic inflatable bag is attached to a switch within reach of the driver. When the driver activates the switch, compressed air inflates the bag, resulting in the seat lifting from its resting position. This lifted position allows the driver to get out of the race car seat more easily.
SELECTIVELY CONFIGURABLE BLAST ATTENUATION AND PULLDOWN ARRANGEMENT FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE SEAT
A seat base for mounting a vehicle seat to a floor of a motor vehicle includes a top member configured to be coupled to the vehicle seat, a bottom member configured to be coupled to the floor of the motor vehicle, at least one blast attenuation structure coupled to and between the top and bottom members and configured to be responsive to an under-vehicle explosion to deform and collapse at least one of the top and bottom members toward the other, a seat pulldown device configured to be responsive to an activation signal to apply a force to the top member in a direction toward the bottom member, and means responsive to the force applied by the seat pulldown device to disable or bypass the at least one blast attenuation structure so that the force applied by the seat pulldown device pulls the top member toward the bottom member.
