NURSERY EQUIPMENT
An adjustment mechanism of nursery equipment includes a string connecting a fixed portion and a movable portion, a reel that is rotatable in both forward and reverse directions and that changes the position or shape of the movable portion by winding up and feeding out the string, a one-way clutch mechanism that allows rotation of the reel in a winding direction of the string and prohibits rotation of the reel in a feeding direction of the string, and an unlock member that unlocks the reel from a rotation prohibited state caused by the one-way clutch mechanism and thus allows the reel to rotate freely
NURSERY EQUIPMENT
Nursery equipment includes: a body (car seat body); an extended portion (ISOFIX) extended from the car seat body; and an adjustment mechanism for adjusting the position or shape of the ISOFIX. The adjustment mechanism includes a string having one end connected to the car seat body and the other end held by the ISOFIX, a reel that is rotatable in both forward and reverse directions and that changes the position or shape of the ISOFIX by winding up and feeding out the string, and a rotation lock mechanism that prohibits rotation of the reel.
NURSERY EQUIPMENT
An adjustment mechanism of nursery equipment includes a string connecting a fixed portion and a movable portion, a reel that is rotatable in both forward and reverse directions and that changes the position or shape of the movable portion by winding up and feeding out the string, a biasing member that biases the reel in such a way that the reel rotates in a winding direction of the string, and a lock member that prohibits rotation of the reel. A biasing force of the biasing member is selected to be smaller than a biasing force with which the movable portion tends to move downward in the vertical direction.
Child Carrier Restraint
A child carrier restraint that allows the upper ends of the shoulder straps to be adjustably positioned to properly secure children having varying torso lengths within the child carrier. The child restraint includes a traditional five point belt harness and pair of shoulder belt location adjusters, which allows the shoulder strap to be selectively positioned over and behind the child regardless of the length of the child's torso. The shoulder location adjusters are mounted to the back of the child carrier and includes a strap loop trained about a locking slide and a bottom strap loop anchor. The end of the shoulder strap is sewn directly to the strap loop. The locking slide can be manually disengaged to allow the strap loop to slide freely, thereby selectively positioning the end of the shoulder strap along the back of the child carrier.
NURSERY EQUIPMENT
An adjustment mechanism of nursery equipment includes a string connecting a fixed portion and a movable portion, a reel that is rotatable in both forward and reverse directions and that changes the position or shape of the movable portion by winding up and feeding out the string, a rotation operation member that controls rotation of the reel, a motion transmission portion that transmits a rotational motion of the rotation operation member to the reel, and a motion separation portion that does not transmit the rotational motion of the rotation operation member to the reel.
Apparatus for Assisted Buckle Release
An apparatus for assisted buckle release employing a generally C-shaped, V-shaped, or U-shaped assistive device adapted to depress a buckle's release button, such as a button typical of a child car seat restraint harness, and thereby assist in unlocking the buckle.
SEATING DEVICE
A seating device includes a headrest movably connected to a seat body. An adjustment mechanism is provided to adjust the position of the headrest relative to the seat body. An operating unit has a driving member to actuate the adjustment mechanism, and a handle portion bending from the driving member. The driving member is movable between non-operative and operative positions. In the non-operative position, the handle portion abuts against the headrest. In the operative position, the handle portion protrudes outward from the headrest.
JUVENILE SEAT
A juvenile seat includes a seat chassis having a seat-bottom base, a seat-back base, and a body frame. The seat-bottom base is adapted to rest on a vehicle seat. The seat-back base is coupled to the seat-bottom base and is arranged to extend upwardly away from the seat-bottom base. The body frame is coupled to both the seat-bottom base and the seat-back base to provide side bolsters and wings for the juvenile seat. The juvenile seat further includes a seat suspension.
Support base for a child safety seat
A support base for a child safety seat includes a shell, a belt clamp and a latching mechanism. The shell is adapted to receive a child seat thereon, and has a panel at an end thereof and a belt anchoring region adjacent to the panel, the belt anchoring region including a first and a second surface, the second surface being supported by the panel and connected with the first surface. The belt clamp is pivotally connected with the shell, and is operable to clamp a first and a second belt portion respectively adjacent to the first and second surface. The latching mechanism is operable to lock the belt clamp in a clamping state.
Locking harness
A retainer apparatus including a first retainer portion, a second retainer portion, a wireless transceiver, and a sensor contained within at least one of the first retainer portion and the second retainer portion. The retainer apparatus includes the first retainer portion configured to be slidably attached to a first harness strap and a second retainer portion configured to be slidably attached to a second harness strap. The first retainer portion is removably attached to the second retainer portion. The sensor is configured to detect the first retainer portion being disconnected from the second retainer portion and generate a warning signal. The wireless transceiver is configured to wirelessly transmit the warning signal to a controller in a vehicle to activate an audible warning alert to warn a user in the vehicle of the first retainer portion being disconnected from the second retainer portion.
