Query rewriting and interactive inquiry framework

The present application describes a system and method for converting a natural language query to a standard query using a sequence-to-sequence neural network. As described herein, when a natural language query is receive, the natural language query is converted to a standard query using a sequence-to-sequence model. In some cases, the sequence-to-sequence model is associated with an attention layer. A search using the standard query is performed and various documents may be returned. The documents that result from the search are scored based, at least in part, on a determined conditional entropy of the document. The conditional entropy is determined using the natural language query and the document.

Adjustable child device

An adjustable child device includes a first seat portion, a second seat portion and a belt engaging element. The second seat portion is foldable relative to the first seat portion between a folded position and an unfolded position and is at least partially received in the chamber when the second seat portion is located at the folded position. The second seat portion and the first seat portion are located on a horizontal plane to form a seat part when the second seat portion is located at the unfolded position. The belt engaging element is installed on a lateral side of the seat part and concurrently rotates from a stowed position to a use position when the second seat portion is unfolded from the folded position to the unfolded position. The adjustable child device can be folded when it is not in use, which saves storage space.

A device for attaching to a motor vehicle seat including a seat region and a back section, at least one shoulder strap, at least one retaining device for holding and/or deflecting the shoulder strap, and at least one force limiting means, which is designed such that the retaining device is transitioned from a first arrested position to a second arrested position upon exceeding a predetermined limit force exerted by the shoulder strap or by the shoulder straps on the retaining device in the event of an impact.

WEBBING DESIGN THAT INDICATES THE TIGHTNESS LEVEL IN CHILD RESTRAINT SYSTEM INSTALLATION AND CARGO MOUNT
20200114869 · 2020-04-16 ·

The present invention is comprised of a color changing device in the form of film or fabric that can be either integrated with a vehicle seatbelt or an add-on device that can be easily attached to the seatbelt. The color changing device will change its color when experiencing external stress. Different colors will indicate different external load applied to the seatbelt, which is used to determine if the seatbelt is properly tightened to secure a CRS. The invention can also be integrated into cargo mounting webbing to indicate webbing tightness used for securing and transporting cargo on trucks or other vehicles.

WEB MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

A web management system includes a base that is configured to be secured to the seat of a vehicle. A retraction member has a first end and a second end. The first end is fixedly secured to an anchor attached to the base. The retraction member is configured to expand and retract in length between a first length and a shorter second length. The expansion and retraction are biased in favor of retraction to the second length. A web having at least a portion is fixedly secured to the base. A roller is attached to the second end of the retraction member. The roller is configured to slidably couple the web to the retraction member. Retraction of the retraction member takes up slack in the web.

Child safety seat

A child safety seat includes a support base, a seat shell disposed on the support base and having a front end provided with an opening, a harness system for restraining a child, and a release actuator. The harness system includes a locking device that is concealed inside the child safety seat and has a clamping member, and an adjustment strap passing through the locking device and extending outside the seat shell through the opening, an inner portion of the adjustment strap extending inside the child safety seat between the locking device and the opening. The locking device has a release state where the clamping member unclamps the adjustment strap, and a locking state where the clamping member clamps the adjustment strap. The release actuator is configured to operatively connect with the locking device, and is operable to switch the locking device from the locking state to the release state.

Strap Retaining Device

A strap retaining device for facilitating positioning of a child in a safety seat includes a pair of panels. Each panel is arcuately shaped proximate to a first end of the panel to define a hook section of the panel. Each of a pair of couplers is coupled to a respective panel proximate to a second end of the respective panel. The coupler is configured to couple the respective panel to a respective opposing side of a child safety seat so that the hook section is positioned proximate to a front of the child safety seat. The hook section is configured to insert into a loop that is defined by an associated strap of the child safety seat to removably couple the associated strap to the hook section. The hook section retains the associated strap in an open configuration to facilitate positioning of a child in the child safety seat.

Vehicle seat harness retainer

A harness retainer having a cover, a magnet, a rear plate and a fastener. The cover has a ledge defining a flat surface. The rear plate is attached to the cover and is constructed to define a contour having a radius of curvature. The magnet is disposed between the cover and the rear plate and is disposed under the ledge. The rear plate has a first retainer and a second retainer. The fastener is fixedly attached to the first retainer and removably attached to the second retainer.

CHILD RESTRAINT SYSTEM WITH BELT TENSIONING MECHANISM

A child seat includes a tensioning mechanism that selectively applies tension to a seat belt to secure the child seat to a car seat. The child seat includes a base that defines a receiving region. The tensioning mechanism includes a bottom arm pivotably attached to the base within the receiving region and a top arm pivotably attached to the bottom arm. The tensioning mechanism is adjustable between a first configuration and a second configuration relative to the base. In both the first configuration and the second configuration, the tensioning mechanism defines a tortuous, nonlinear belt pathway. In the first configuration, the tensioning mechanism receives a portion of the seat belt, and in the second configuration, the tensioning mechanism applies tension to the portion of the seat belt.
