SAFETY BELT AUTOMATIC ADJUSTMENT APPARATUS AND CHILD SAFETY SEAT THEREWITH
A safety belt automatic adjustment apparatus includes a safety belt buckle fastening assembly, a safety belt retractor and a linking component. The safety belt buckle fastening assembly is rotatably connected to a seat body of a child safety seat and for connecting with a safety belt buckle. The safety belt retractor is used for retracting a safety belt, and the safety belt retractor includes a restraining assembly for restraining a movement of the safety belt in a predetermined direction. The linking component is installed between the safety belt buckle fastening assembly and the safety belt retractor, and the safety belt buckle fastening assembly rotates to drive the linking component and the restraining assembly, so as to restrain or release the safety belt winding around the safety belt retractor. The safety belt automatic adjustment apparatus has advantages of automatic adjustment for the safety belt, simple structure, convenient operation and enhanced safety.
Outerwear garment with semi-removable front panels
This outerwear garment makes traveling while clothed in outerwear and restrained in a car seat restraint device safer for children and adults. By allowing the partial removal and repositioning of the front of the garment, proper security of car seat restraints can be achieved while keeping the wearer warm, and without necessitating full removal of the garment.
Web management system
A web management system includes a base that is configured to be secured to the seat of a vehicle. A retraction member has a first end and a second end. The first end is fixedly secured to an anchor attached to the base. The retraction member is configured to expand and retract in length between a first length and a shorter second length. The expansion and retraction are biased in favor of retraction to the second length. A web having at least a portion is fixedly secured to the base. A roller is attached to the second end of the retraction member. The roller is configured to slidably couple the web to the retraction member. Retraction of the retraction member takes up slack in the web.
Safety buckle for a child seat
A seat buckle that accommodates different types and styles of child seats. The standard platform can be used across a variety of baby to child seats. The belt has a button on the front, with a safety mechanism on the back that must be articulated to enable activation of the belt buckle. The buckle may take the configuration of an adapter allows a parent to install the safety buckle for a child seat. Adapter on a pre-existing seat. The belt ideally configured for a Y style buckle where straps extend over each shoulder and a single strap passes between the legs of the child. This allows the safety to pass or be blocked between the two belt buckle components of the shoulder straps. This also accommodates most of the buckles that are being produced.
ENERGY ABSORBING DEVICES FOR USE WITH WEBS
Energy absorbing devices for use with child seat restraint webs, seat belt webs, and other webs are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, an energy absorbing device includes a body having first and second apertures that receive a portion of a web, such as a web of an occupant restraint system. When a load is applied to the web, such as in a vehicle crash, the body deflects under the load from a first shape to a second shape to absorb the energy transmitted by the web.
USER-DEFINED STIMULATION PATTERNS FOR JUVENILE PRODUCTS
Systems and methods define a stimulation pattern for a juvenile product utilizing a mobile device that executes a mobile application that is linked to the juvenile product. The method comprises the step of recognizing, by the mobile device when executing the mobile app, the user-defined stimulation pattern for the juvenile product. The stimulation pattern can be a vibration pattern or a motion pattern, and can be detected in a number of different ways by the mobile device. The method further comprises the step of determining control signals for the actuator(s) of the juvenile product based on the user-defined stimulation pattern that is recognized by the mobile device. The method further comprises the step of, in response to receiving a command to execute the user-defined stimulation pattern, controlling the actuator(s) of the juvenile product based on the stored control signals for the user-defined stimulation pattern.
Child Transportation System
A child transportation system is disclosed. The system includes a seating component and various other modules. The system can check whether a seating component is located in a vehicle, whether the seating component is a proper component given the weight and height of the child in the seat, that the seating component is properly secured in the vehicle, and that the system is operating correctly. The system can monitor various conditions of the seat and the environment, and can provide alarms to users when cheks are not completed or dangerous environmental conditions are present, or when a child is left behind in a vehicle.
SWITCHABLE RETRACTOR
A switchable retractor system includes a retractor with a spool. The spool is rotatable in an extension direction for extending a web and in a retraction direction for retracting the web. A first clutch has an engaged state where the first clutch inhibits rotation of the spool in the extension direction and a disengaged state where the first clutch allows rotation of the spool in the extension direction. A release actuator actuates the first clutch into the disengaged state when actuated by a user to allow extension of the web. A second clutch has a locked state where the second clutch inhibits rotation of the spool in the retraction direction and an unlocked state where the second clutch allows rotation of the spool in the retraction direction. A tension actuator actuates the second clutch into the unlocked state when actuated to allow retraction of the web into the retractor.
STRAP INDICATOR
The invention is an indicator means on a strap to provide a means of showing when slack in the strap is removed and/or tension is applied to the strap. The strap is secured with respect to an object at one end and to an anchor point at the other end and the indicator means shows visually that the strap has at least had all slack removed therefrom and where the indicator means is arranged to provide an indication from both sides of the strap to allow a visual indication of tension regardless of which direction the strap extends away from the object.
Methods and systems for ornamenting safety seats
Systems and methods capable of changing the aesthetic appearance of a safety seat by covering portions thereof with an ornamental accessory. The systems includes the ornamental accessory and an attachment system configured for removably securing the ornamental accessory to a belt system of the safety seat.
