Mobile application for wheeled juvenile product

A mobile application runs on a mobile computing device and allows a user thereof to interact with a wheeled juvenile product, such as a stroller. The juvenile product may have a generator for generating electricity from rotation of its wheels. Through the mobile app, the user can enter a preference for how that generated electricity is used, including how much is allocated to charge the juvenile product's battery that power electronic components of the juvenile product, versus how much is allocated to a charging station that charges external electronic devices. Additionally, the juvenile product can include a memory that stores data about trips with the juvenile product, including the date and time of the trip, the duration, and the distance. Upon a request issued from the mobile app, that data can be uploaded to the mobile app so that the user can view the trip data on the user's mobile computing device. That trip data can also be uploaded to a remote server.

ALERT SYSTEM FOR SAFETY SEAT AND SAFETY SEAT
20240351488 · 2024-10-24 ·

A safety seat with an alert function includes a seat body, a seat belt, and a buckle assembly. The buckle assembly is installed on the seat body in a seesaw structure. The alert system includes a control module, and a position sensor and a buckle sensor which are electrically connected to the control module. The position sensor is on the buckle assembly. The buckle sensor is in a buckle component of the buckle assembly. When the control module determines that the position sensor is triggered and the seat belt is not buckled to the buckle component, the control module sends an alert signal to remind parents or drivers to engage the buckle component in time to ensure the safety of a child on the safety seat.

Apparatus for Assisted Buckle Release

An apparatus for assisted buckle release employing a generally C-shaped, V-shaped, or U-shaped assistive device adapted to depress a buckle's release button, such as a button typical of a child car seat restraint harness, and thereby assist in unlocking the buckle.

CHILD SAFETY SEAT INCLUDING A REMOVABLE BELT-POSITIONING SEAT

A child safety seat includes a seat base and a belt-positioning seat. The seat base has a bottom surface suitable for placement on a vehicle seat, and two armrests protruding upward from an upper surface of the seat base. The belt-positioning seat is installable in a receiving region of the seat base between the two armrests and removable therefrom for independent use, the belt-positioning seat including a seat body having a bottom surface adapted to be placed on a vehicle seat, and a belt guide connected with the seat body, the belt guide having a deployed position protruding upward from the seat body and a storage position stowed in a storage cavity in the seat body, the belt-positioning seat being placed in the receiving region of the seat base with the belt guide in the storage position.

ADJUSTABLE CHILD DEVICE
20180162240 · 2018-06-14 ·

The present invention discloses an adjustable child device includes a first seat portion, a second seat portion and a belt engaging element. A chamber is formed on the first seat portion. The second seat portion is foldable relative to the first seat portion. The second seat portion is at least partially received in the chamber when the second seat portion is folded relative to the first seat portion to a folded position, and the second seat portion and the first seat portion are located on a horizontal plane to form a seat part when the second seat portion is unfolded relative to the first seat portion to an unfolded position. The belt engaging element is installed on a lateral side of the seat part. The adjustable child device can be folded when it is not in use, which saves storage space.

Child seat monitoring system and method

Embodiments include a vehicle comprising a user interface, a first sensor coupled to a child seat for detecting a child seat belt status; a gear selector for selecting a vehicle gear, and a processor communicatively coupled to the first sensor and the gear selector, and configured to cause the user interface to present a first notification if a first alarm condition is detected based on the child seat belt status and a selected gear. Embodiments also include a method of providing child seat monitoring in a vehicle, the method comprising receiving a gear position from a vehicle gear selector, receiving a child seat belt status from a first sensor coupled to a vehicle child seat, and presenting a first notification using a vehicle user interface if the gear position is a non-park position and the child seat belt status is unbuckled.

Query Rewriting and Interactive Inquiry Framework

The present application describes a system and method for converting a natural language query to a standard query using a sequence-to-sequence neural network. As described herein, when a natural language query is receive, the natural language query is converted to a standard query using a sequence-to-sequence model. In some cases, the sequence-to-sequence model is associated with an attention layer. A search using the standard query is performed and various documents may be returned. The documents that result from the search are scored based, at least in part, on a determined conditional entropy of the document. The conditional entropy is determined using the natural language query and the document.

CHILD SAFETY SEAT

A child safety seat includes a seat back having a routing opening, a seat bottom connected to the seat back for cooperatively providing a seating space with the seat back, a bridge plate having a slot portion and a bending portion, and a safety harness having a shoulder strap and a central adjusting strap. The shoulder strap has two shoulder strap portions slidably routed from a front side of the seat back to a rear side of the seat back through the routing opening. Two rear ends of the two shoulder strap portions located at the rear side of the seat back are permanently coupled to each other through the slot portion. The central adjusting strap is slidably routed to the rear side of the seat back through the seat bottom to be detachably attached to the bending portion for adjusting tightness of the safety harness.

Occupant sensing method and occupant sensing device

An occupant sensing method includes steps of: sensing installation of a child seat on a seat of a vehicle; storing a detection value of a load sensor which is provided to be attached to the seat and detects an input load as a first load value, when the installation of the child seat is sensed; storing a detection value of the load sensor as a second load value when a predetermined time period has elapsed from a time point at which the installation of the child seat is sensed; and estimating a load change amount at the time of getting on/off which is a change amount of a load that is generated as the occupant gets on/off the child seat, based on a difference value between the first load value and the second load value.
