CHILD SAFETY ASSEMBLY
The present inventive concept relates to a child safety assembly. The child safety assembly comprises: a base portion, to be placed on a vehicle seat and for holding a child safety seat and a brace, to be pressed against a backrest of the vehicle seat. The brace being connected to the base portion, for preventing the base portion from tilting from the vehicle seat. The child safety assembly further comprises tensioning means, extending from the brace and secured to the base portion, and a biasing mechanism, coupled to the tensioning means. The biasing mechanism provides, to the tensioning means, a tension which draws the brace in a direction downwards to the base portion for providing a pressure of the brace against the backrest of the vehicle seat.
Belt lock off mechanism for child car seat
Disclosed herein is a child car seat configured to be installed in an associated vehicle using a safety belt of the associated vehicle. The child car seat is comprised of a shell and a belt lock off mechanism including a first arm movable between (a) an unlocked position in which the first arm is not configured to tension the safety belt of the associated vehicle, and (b) a locked position in which the first arm is configured to tension the safety belt of the associated vehicle. A second arm is configured to engage with and urge the first arm to move from the unlocked position to the locked position so as to tension the safety belt of the associated vehicle.
Belt Lock Off Mechanism for Child Car Seat

The child car seat is comprised of a shell and a belt lock off mechanism including a first arm movable between (a) an unlocked position in which the first arm is not configured to tension the safety belt of the associated vehicle, and (b) a locked position in which the first arm is configured to tension the safety belt of the associated vehicle. A second arm is configured to engage with and urge the first arm to move from the unlocked position to the locked position so as to tension the safety belt of the associated vehicle.
INDICATOR ASSEMBLY OF A SUPPORTING LEG DEVICE FOR A SAFETY SEAT AND SAFETY SEAT
An indicator assembly of a supporting leg device for a safety seat and a safety seat are provided. The indicator assembly includes an indicator housing having an indicator window; an indicating member including a first area and a second area adjacent to each other; a first elastic member for pivoting the indicating member to a first position in a first direction; a pushing member, a top end of which pushing the indicating member to pivot to a second position in a second direction; a driving member including an upper end provided with an engaging hook and a lower end capable of touching a floor, in which the engaging hook can be engaged into the engaging hole of the pushing member. According to the indicator assembly of the present disclosure, a user can observe whether the supporting leg device touches the floor of a vehicle without leaning over.
INFANT CAR SEAT AND STABILITY LEG AND RELEASE ACTUATOR
An infant car seat includes a seat base and a stability leg. The stability leg includes an upper leg tube, a middle leg tube, a lower leg tube, a rotary member, a first latch and a second latch. The middle leg tube includes at least one hole. The lower leg tube includes at least one opening. The rotary member is assembled with the seat base and affixed to the upper leg tube. The first latch is disposed on a bottom of the upper leg tube and adapted to detachably engage with the at least one hole for constraining a movement between the upper leg tube and the middle leg tube. The second latch is disposed on a bottom of the middle leg tube, and adapted to detachably engage with the at least one opening for constraining a movement between the middle leg tube and the lower leg tube.
Support Platform with Load Leg for Child Car Seat
A support platform for a child car seat includes a carrier base configured to support a child car seat and a load leg pivotally attached to the carrier base about a hinge point to allow angular displacement between the load leg and the carrier base. The load leg includes a leg member having a first end pivotally connected to the carrier base at the hinge point, and a foot extending from a second end of the leg member and having a bottom surface configured to frictionally engage a floor of the vehicle at a contact point defined along the foot. A leg axis through the hinge point of the load leg and the contact point of the foot defines a load leg angle of between substantially 10° and substantially 25° relative to an axis extending substantially perpendicular to the floor of the vehicle.
Support base for a child safety seat
A support base for a child safety seat includes a shell, a belt clamp, a latching mechanism and a belt retaining structure. The shell is adapted to receive a child seat thereon, and has a panel at an end thereof. The belt clamp is pivotally connected with the shell and is disposed adjacent to the panel, the panel rising above the belt clamp, the belt clamp being operable to clamp a lap belt portion of a vehicle safety belt adjacent to a surface of the shell. The latching mechanism is operable to lock the belt clamp in a clamping state. The belt retaining structure is provided on the panel, and is configured to hold a shoulder belt portion of a vehicle safety belt adjacent to the panel.
Rotating Rigid Latch Attachments for a Car Seat Base
A base for a child car seat includes a seat base body configured to support a child carrier. The seat base body has a belt channel configured to receive a vehicle seat belt to retain the seat bas body against a vehicle seat. The base for a child car seat further includes a latch connector arm having a proximal end pivotally connected to the seat base body and a distal end configured to attach to a rigid anchor of the vehicle seat. The latch connector is rotatable between a stowed position and an attachment position. In the stowed position, the latch connector arm is located such that the vehicle seat belt may extend through the belt channel and connect to a buckle of the vehicle seat without contacting the latch connector arm.
Support base for a child safety seat
A support base for a child safety seat includes a support leg, a first and a second locking mechanism, and a linking assembly. The support leg includes three segments that are telescopically connected with one another via a first and a second sliding connection. The first locking mechanism includes a first latch for locking and unlocking the first sliding connection, and a first actuating part operable to cause the first latch to unlock the first sliding connection. The second locking mechanism includes a second latch for locking and unlocking the second sliding connection, and a second actuating part operable to cause the second latch to unlock the second sliding connection. The linking assembly operatively couples the first locking mechanism to the second locking mechanism so that the first and second sliding connections can be unlocked concurrently with one single operating step.
